Hotel Quadrille Relais & Châteaux

We came to stay at this hotel based on the Michelin rating, but we were disappointed with our stay, which never got off the ground. Starting with the reception staff, who not only didn't know the hotel's own website's rules but also refused to follow them. In our situation, anyone with a guide dog could find themselves in the same predicament. After providing all the necessary documents and certifications proving that our dog was a trained assistance animal, the receptionist asked us where we had read that we could stay at the hotel with our guide dog. When I showed her the hotel's website's rules of conduct, she switched to a different version, claiming that we needed to send our documents by mail in advance. This was not mentioned anywhere, and it's unclear if it was even true. As a result, we were denied accommodation. I never would have thought that places that are highly rated by Michelin could be so unethical towards people with health issues. If Michelin considers this place to be luxurious and exquisite, their words hold little value. This message will be sent to an organization that protects the rights of people with disabilities for further investigation.

From the moment we arrived... everything was faultless..|It is an absolutely beautiful boutique style hotel with amazing decor! The rooms are stunning - all different. Quality bedlinen, towels, fitments etc and the bathrooms are gorgeous!|Now to the staff... the Management have to take credit for the AMAZING staff... every single member of staff were so polite, helpful - nothing was too much trouble. They had all been sworn to secrecy for my husband's birthday.... and not one let the cat out of the bag!|The food... again... fabulous! We ate in the "pub" downstairs, and the restaurant - superb! Breakfast - just super - something for everyone.. and a hot menu to choose from.|Almost forgot... fab indoor pool and spa/treatment rooms too!|Everything was just perfect...|I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough... I was absolutely delighted with my choice, as was my husband!... We hope to return very soon... but until then - a HUGE thank you for making our stay so very special!

Really lovely location, most wonderful spa, very friendly and professional staff and breakfast to die for. One comment.... for thr value paid, you would expect coffee machine in a room.... not instant sachets 😔

Just great! Large hotel room, lovely breakfast and restaurant. Clean and friendly hotel. Totally recommended! If there is one tiny little downside, it’s the class door/wall to the toilet. Would have been nice with a little privacy.

An exceptional hotel with rich history. The interior design is outstanding, rooms beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Definitely use the spa when there. Fresh and tasty breakfast with lots of options to choose from

Often when you look for a place to stay and go the extra mile to get there, you arrive and think no doubt that this is going to be good. Follow me here. We arrived on our first trip ever together with hopeful expectations. There was a big wedding going on and frankly, the hotel was extremely busy and we felt sidelined as guests. I won't get into details, because I have never experienced a hotel manager on the following day admitting with reconciliation in doing what she could to make our stay a memorable one. A great hotel is one that solves an occasional mishap in the most professional way possible. I wasn't asked twice or cast doubt upon in what I shared and why we felt marginalised. I will not share in detail how we were compensated because that is not the point. Everything otherwise was spot on with this hotel. Spa treatments, rooms, soaps, kitchen (second to none) and a long list of professionalism needs to be included. You are in good hands and the tasting menu at dinner is a culinary journey worth the price tag. Enjoy!

A wonderful stay in this property. From the welcoming at the reception to the spa, everything is great ! Really good service. Wonderfull breakfast and spa. Amazing culinary experience as well at the white rabbit, thanks Julia for the service and the Chef for his perfect fusion between classic and modern cuisine! We had an incredibly relaxing and very enjoyable stay. The hotel is well appointed, and it is clear they have given a lot of thought to the guest experience. |Food- great breakfast and an excellent dinner in the restaurant. I was particularly impressed by the vegan tasting menu, which was bursting with a range of flavours. My personal favourites were their vegan take on fish and chips and the almond "cheesecake". Spa- Nice spa facilities, and good, well priced massage. |Staff- I think the lady on reception who checked us in and out may have been new and require a little more training, as she didn't give us any information about breakfast, the spa etc on arrival, and we had to request an itemised bill on check our. All other staff were great, with a special mention to Liam the cocktail maker and Artur in the restaurant. |Thank you for a wonderful stay 🙏
