We came to stay at this hotel based on the Michelin rating, but we were disappointed with our stay, which never got off the ground. Starting with the reception staff, who not only didn't know the hotel's own website's rules but also refused to follow them. In our situation, anyone with a guide dog could find themselves in the same predicament. After providing all the necessary documents and certifications proving that our dog was a trained assistance animal, the receptionist asked us where we had read that we could stay at the hotel with our guide dog. When I showed her the hotel's website's rules of conduct, she switched to a different version, claiming that we needed to send our documents by mail in advance. This was not mentioned anywhere, and it's unclear if it was even true. As a result, we were denied accommodation. I never would have thought that places that are highly rated by Michelin could be so unethical towards people with health issues. If Michelin considers this place to be luxurious and exquisite, their words hold little value.
