Hotel Quarcino

Pia was amazingly kind and accommodating! The hotel is perfectly situated right in the center of the action while still being off the beaten path enough that you don’t feel like you’re in a fish bowl. The church bells were such a blessing and the staff was so kind. We will definitely be back.

Well located but bare-bones hotel with minimal amenities. The staff are not particularly welcoming or helpful, which set an uncomfortable tone. Bed was okay and the room was clean. The bathroom was tiny, towels threadbare and scratchy, and few amenities (a couple plastic bottles of cheap combined shower gel/shampoo). Note the bell tower in the church next door begins the day at 7:30 am. Not the hotel’s fault, of course, but you will be awakened early each day.

What a wonderful gem of a hotel. From checking in with the wonderful Salvatore everything was just lovely. Immaculate rooms. Good choice breakfast. Ideal location for the centre of Como. A really wonderful stay can highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the wonderful people that looked after us.

We were here over Easter and enjoyed our stay in the large family room. We are a family of three and the family room was so spacious. The family room is a two bedroom with a total of 3 twin beds and a queen bed and our own terrace. We’ve been traveling and this stay was towards the end of our trip and we didn’t know what to do with all the space. It was great! The staff were also so kind and helpful. They called a cab for us, opened the door and even gave my son a giant Easter chocolate egg. Next time, we will stay longer. Thank you Hotel Quarcino.

The people at the front desk were all very nice and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and modern, even provided with showergel and soap and a kettle with tea bags. Location is just a 5 minute walk to the lake. Very simple but nice hotel! We would recommend staying here 🙂

Great value for 220Euros incl. Breakfast. 1 Minute walk to the lake and supermarkets. Rooms are modern, bathrooms brand new and everything is sparkling clean. Mini fridge and Safe in the room. Very quiet location. Room 107 overlooks the parking / mountains. I called because on several booking sites the beds were classified as Queen. That is not true - the beds are double beds - 160 cm but one mattress which is nice 😊 We will definitely be back !

Great hotel in a very central location. The rooms are immaculately clean and the breakfast buffet has so many delicious choices. The staff are all so helpful and kind. I really enjoyed my stay here, and I hope to go back again someday.

We went there like 1 month ago and the indian front desk guy in the night was sleeping so we were there like 15 minutes knocking the door and it was not too late, it was at midnight. This guy was looking like homeless and he stinks, then he started to be aggressive because we didnt arrive earlier and start to yell at us. He was looking very weird like with autism, for a moment we thought we were going to have to fight. In general the hotel is not good, thats why is so cheap compare with others in the area and the pictures are very different from reality. AVOID RUIN YOUR HOLIDAYS AND DONT BOOK HERE!!
