Hotel Quelle Nature Spa Resort

We spent 4 nights at Quelle and wow, this place completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and intentional. With 12 saunas and 8 pools, there’s always something new to explore, like the nature spa with the sounds of a nearby river and waterfall. The food deserves its own paragraph. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner are all included, and it genuinely felt like a celebration of food each day. The restaurant has the most beautiful view, you get your own set table for the entire stay, and meal times are clearly structured, which somehow helped us fall into the most relaxing routine. There were amazing vegetarian options, and you could tell the chefs were passionate. You could taste the love they put into every dish. Our favorite part of every day was the dessert buffet at dinner. The staff were not only super quick and attentive, but genuinely kind and welcoming. Our room was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with a private jacuzzi overlooking the garden, double showers, and all the comfort we could ask for. We now call this “the trip we didn’t know we needed” as it was the perfect mix of luxury, nature, and relaxation.

We booked this hotel for our long planned trip to Italy, and while I had high expectations, this hotel consistently exceeded them. The service is incredible, with every detail thought of throughout our stay. The pools were wonderful, and we enjoyed the entertainment in the evening. We also loved the food, with each meal featuring some of the best produce we’ve ever eaten. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, and our daughter particularly enjoyed the kids club each afternoon to the point that we had to drag her away. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and we will be back.

The room was perfect, the services were incredible, and the food was excellent. Although the facilities were nice, they didn’t stand out as much as those on the Swiss side of the Alps. I never quite understood why certain amenities could only be accessed if you were completely naked. What’s the point? Whether one is naked or not should not be a requirement to enjoy the facilities.

One of the most relaxing places I’ve stayed! Everything about Quelle is built to help you switch off. The spa areas are peaceful and spacious, and the outdoor zones surrounded by nature really added to the experience.||The food was consistently great, with set mealtimes that helped create a nice rhythm to the day. I also loved the fact that they had a great gym. It had everything I needed and could actually compete not just with hotel gyms but with regular gyms too. ||And for anyone needing to get a bit of work done, the quiet workation room was a really thoughtful touch.||It’s rare to find a place where it feels like they thought of everything. We would definitely come back!

One of the best, if not the best, experiences ever. Every single detail was impecable, well planned and organized. The facilities are just so beautiful and tastefully furnished. Best bath-robes ever👌 And finally, the Team is amazing; so friendly and helpfull, yet not intrusive. Will definitely come back again!! Warm reccommendation !

Amazing spot to spend a few days to relax and recharge. Staff is great, food amazing, room very comfortable. The saunas and pools were fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Quelle. I don't exaggerate when I say this place is extraordinary. We went during summer, and we got to enjoy all the greenery and gardens the hotel offers. Not to mention the spa area, so much to choose from! Food is exceptional, and desserts are to die for. We went with friends with dietary restrictions, and they had special bread and dessert made for them. Service was outstanding and personalized. Honestly, without hesitation, this has been one of the best summer experiences we've had . We want to go back during winter, as it must be magical!. Highly recommended 👌

We stayed at the Quelle for a second time a few months ago. For a detailed review of the hotel, see my report entitled Get Here if You Can in September 2022 as this is mostly an update on things that we perceived to have changed both for better and for worse.||||Let’s start with the things for the worse:||• Table water (i.e. tap water) is now charged for at almost €4 per bottle; this is a growing but unwelcome trend across luxury hotels and is one which I always find hard to justify, especially when the hotel has direct access to mountain water!||• Toiletries – 2 years ago, these were provided in small user friendly tubes and bottles for each person to use or take away. They were provided by a local cosmetics company in Bruneck and were of very high quality. Now the cosmetics are in large bottles fixed to the wall and are of much less quality. Some will argue this is better for the environment but it remains a downward shift in quality||• The prices of wine seem to have risen excessively, leaving it hard to find much under €40; we stuck to water (qv)||||Improvements ||• Our criticism above may seem petty but may yet represent a turning point but for the addition of the new SkySpa and lounges. This area offers 3 (textile free) saunas and superb heated pool with mountain views all around; there are lounges and terraces, all of which are filled with stunning natural light. A fantastic investment and – as yet – an area where there is more space than people! ( surprisingly, the original sauna world – which looks rather tired in comparison – is still more popular than the sky spa.||||One thing that certainly hasn’t changed is the quality of the staff and their personal service. As an example the all male waiter team got used to our wishes and requirements and never failed to be anything but charming, however awkward we were!||||In conclusion, this remains a fabulous and almost unique hotel. Change will happen and it may not please everyone every time, but as the generations evolve at the Quelle, it remains in good hands ( and we will be back in 2025!)||||PS once again I acknowledge Oleta Adams' inspiration for the title of this report!
