"Perched atop the sugary stretch of Playa Chahue, with mounds of green carpeted mountains, Quinta Bella Huatulco has 44 rooms, seven restaurants, a spectacular oceanfront spa, and a full-service fitness center. Quinta Bella is not directly on the beach, but lies a short five-minute ride away." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Great hotel, the beach is amazing, the foks is great and the vibe of the hotel is perfect for relaxing. The only thing to note is that there are two sections of the hotel, one old and one new. The old section has old rooms, they are fine but not worth of a 5-star hotel. The new rooms are great. Staff is super nice, I would come back any time (but only to the new rooms)

This has been an amazing hotel. It is right on the beach, there are 5-6 different restaurants on site, a spa, two pools, and beach chairs and a swing right on the beachfront. Everyone has been very kind from the front desk to the security guards. The housekeepers have done a great job of cleaning our rooms and wait staff at two of the restaurants we ate at were very nice. This is a perfect place for families that are wanting a nicer experience than budget hotels yet the cost is still reasonable for the amount of amenities you are getting. We will definitely be back. *important things to note* Part of the hotel was being renovated while we were here but that didn’t negatively impact us in any way. Also the WiFi was just ok but when you are busy enjoying the pool and the amazing views it doesn’t really matter. Also this is NOT an all inclusive so just keep that in mind. You will need to pay out of pocket for drinks and any meals at the on site restaurants

This hotel could be lovely but sadly there were many things lacking. |This is a small hotel located on Chuhue beach. The beach is wonderful however the sea here has a very strong undertow and is not suitable for most swimmers. The red flag is always flying and there is no life guard, so swimming is definitely at your own risk. |It is located about 20 minutes from the town of La Crucecita. It is an easy walk on a flat road so location is good. |There are 6 restaurants on site, that might sound like a lot but they are all quite small and fill up quickly. The issue is with the service, you often have to wait 20 - 30 minutes for even a drink to arrive, especially on the beach or poolside. The food is good but if you want nachos after 2pm at the pool you will be out of luck! |The billing system is very odd at the poolside, sometimes you can charge to your room and other times you have to pay cash. There seems to be no logical system! |All rooms have balconies and the sea facing ones have tiny plunge pools. Little irritations in the room are no hooks in the bathroom and no ledge in the shower for your own products. |Cleaning is also slow, rooms are typically not done until the mid afternoon. |If you don’t speak passable Spanish it is difficult to be understood here, very few of the staff speak English and often orders and requests get mixed up or forgotten!|Not the best hotel in the area but seems to be popular with the locals.

Our Quinta Bella Huatulco stay was heavenly. The rooms were beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful and provided great service with a smile. The property was paradise with the multiple pools, amazing restaurants with the most delicious food, lots of places for lounging and relaxing. There was even a spa with affordable prices on the grounds. The beach was beautiful! We highly recommend this place- we will definitely be returning in the future!

Beachfront! Six restaurants, two pools, and beach entertainment is almost nightly. The staff members are friendly and professional as are the restaurant staff. Tours can be booked at the lobby, just a great place vacation!

I am giving Hotel Quinta Bella 5 stars because our family vacation with them was truly exceptional. There were a few hiccups with our room at first. I booked a Mountain View room but instead we got a room that overlooks the parking lot. This was unacceptable for us. We paid 1400 pesos to be moved to forest view room. There was construction noise as they were building a new restaurant underneath us. We should not have been charged more but besides that the hotel is absolutely lovely. The staff are all very lovely as well. Kind, and helpful staff, beautiful boutique style hotel with gorgeous landscaping, flowers etc.., amazing food in all the restaurants with the poolside menu being one of our favs, and the most gorgeous stretch of private beach!! Great coffee in the early morning. We loved the Amazing ocean views from our little table out on a common patio area on our floor (2nd floor) where we sat and drank coffee every morning, We also loved the 545 am sunrise yoga right by the beach. Thank you to everyone at Quinta!! We will be back soon!!

This hotel is clean and the staff very nice. The food in the several restaurants was all very good. However, our first room had a bad sewer smell from the shower in the evening, so strong it woke us up. They tried to fix it with air freshener, but on the second day we had to change rooms. The second room had extremely poor Internet, which seems generally true throughout the facility. A nice hotel to sit by a pool or on the beach, but not much else to do in the area without a cab ride. The guests seem to be primarily middle-age or older, couples or families with children, not young, active couples.

From the start, the experience at this hotel was frustrating and confusing. The reservation process for the restaurants was unclear, and no one seemed eager to help. The internet was virtually nonexistent, making even basic connectivity impossible. Despite booking the most expensive room, there was constant noise from ongoing construction – something they conveniently failed to mention beforehand. Room service was a complete joke. They provide a menu in the room, but there’s no phone to actually place an order. Instead, you have to call a random number and then “confirm” your order through WhatsApp because apparently, writing things down is too much to ask. They also forgot to give us the towel cards, and the rooms themselves were poorly designed – no drawers at all, meaning all your belongings are left out in the open. If you’re lucky enough to find bottles of water in the room, don’t expect to make coffee. There’s a coffee maker, but no pods to actually use it. Honestly, the only redeeming factor was the food at the restaurants. But trust me, you can enjoy the food without subjecting yourself to staying at this poorly managed, disorganized hotel. Complete disappointment – never again.

Yelp
The service is bad at two of the restaurants, one of them being Otto. The yoga mats that they provide are disgusting! When this was pointed out nothing was done to fix the problem. The cost of the hotel was so much in the end although it was advertised for so much less in the beginning. The rooms did get cleaned in a timely fashion. The coffee stunk! The rooms had no refrigerators in them.

Yelp
Beautiful location, rooms are nice and clean, BUT the pillows, towels, bed sheets, pillows are all VERY VERY OLD, RUFF on the skin, dingy in color from being so so aged! The shower is head flow poorly. My number 1 complaint, sheets, pillows, and towels all have to be replaced, I would be surprised it these items are not over 10 years old.

Yelp
Absolutely loved Quinta Bella.....such a fine resort and the staff went out of their way to make our stay a genuine treat. We choose a King Suite with our off patio private pool....that was the single feature that made me choose the resort. Restaurants on the property were exceptional. Loved our breakfasts on their covered deck watching the ocean. OTTO restaurant was one of the best of our whole trip. Outstanding food and service.

Yelp
This is definitely a nice place to stay for visitors to the Huatulco Mexico area. The rooms are basic but comfortable, the pools are lovely and the poolside service absolutely cannot be beat! We had all kinds of drinks and snacks during the three days we were there, And frankly we were blown away by how friendly the servers were! The hotel is also within walking distance to the central area and Mercado. Really the only downside was the staff at the front desk. No matter who was there, they seemed very put out every time we asked for a bottle of water. They just don't seem to like tourists. In our opinion, people with that attitude shouldn't be working the front desk. But all in all, it's a decent place to stay.

Yelp
*LATE REVIEW* I surprised my fiance to a trip to Mexico for the first time! So we did not know what to expect. We went in the beginning in July. Hands down, although Mexico is basically cheaper than America in almost everything, Quinta Bella was not just affordable, but also came with QUALITY service and QUALITY FOOD! This type of hotel would cost thousands in America! At this rate would definitely keep customers coming! Pricing is affordable, not too cheap to where it is skeptical, and not too expensive to where I'd look elsewhere. The whole experience of beachfront, our own private pool, easy access to hotel pool and bars made the experience an everlasting memory! The private beach where you can have a nice long walk made our experience in Mexico overall the best trip outside of country, so far. Quinta Bella is extremely close to local restaurants, activities, convenience stores, etc. If I were to come back to Huatulco, I will definitely book this place as long as it doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Thank you to Quinta Bella and staff, especially the security and front gate attendants! They were friendly and I just felt it was more of a personal/friend connection rather than just a business. I 100% recommend. FYI, looks like they are building more rooms, and pools and maybe other activities/bars at this hotel. So to all new guests, I hope this is up and running because it looked beautiful even during the construction process.

Yelp
I went there to enjoy my New Year's. I made point to book a resort to have full access of amenities cones with the resort like restaurants, bars and pool. The hotel closed pool/ beach access, bars and restaurant for the guest who stayed there, paying 220$ a night without a notice ahead. If I knew it I did not book this place. The owner of the hotel threw a private party that non of the guest have access. I had to go to an other resort to spend my New Year's Eve which was not easy to get an access. I returned to my resort and the private pArty still went till 2:30 am. Window shaking music and karaoke continued. All of their gust had no concept of social distancing and masks. Crappy place ever.

Yelp
My Husband, Son and I had a wonderful stay at the Quinta Bella, it is a small quaint location which makes it perfect for enjoying the resort without fighting crowds. The entire staff was attentive and provided great customer service our entire stay. The downside is not bringing in your own drinks, it worked fine for us but it does cost more. Extremely close to town, just a short cab ride away.
