Just ate at the restaurant, and the food was amazing. Enchiladas rojo with queso and queso chilli rellenos. Both amazing. Ate outside and it was lovely. Very affordable. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay. Walking distance to central and the cathedral. Very reasonably priced. Could use some updating. But overall it's clean and comfortable and most important when staying in Mexico fairly quiet. Restaurant on the property is delicious and staff is friendly.

I love Quinta Loreto. Old style, somewhat run down...old towels. All clean of course. BUT what I love is that there is plenty of parking a big friendly garden and dog friendly all in a great location.

We are a family of four with two girls age 11, 15. We wanted them to have an authentic Mexican experience on our vacation. This place fit the bill. The staff are courteous and friendly. The location is excellent. There is a nice relaxing courtyard in the middle and the rooms are humble but with a lot of charm. One small downside was that the ceiling fan was squeaky so I couldn't have it going during the night time as it made sleep difficult. ||||We had a double bed and two single beds. My daughters were thrilled to have their own beds. ||||The food at the hotel restaurant is average.

Many in our group had stayed here over the years. There was one family staying here again this time. The rooms were nice and charming. We had lunch here and it was a lovely homestyle meal. Most of us ordered the complete lunch. It was 5 courses of yumminess: soup, salad, main course, dessert, and a drink. There were many choices for a main course so everyone should be able to find something they like. We also enjoyed some great local beer. Nice, simple, local, and inexpensive. A slice of dulce from an earlier time.

It is a great hotel, great price and Great location.||I passed a weekend there with my family and my Girlfriend and it was incredible the best service I had in quite some time, delicious food from their restaurant and well the place was so good and beautiful not to mention that it was next to one of the biggest markets from the town and really close to the main plaza so you can walk everywhere without a problem. ||We asked for a room with double beds and when we got there we had 3 beds on the room. they gave us more than what we reserved for for the same price and it was really great.

I paid about $30/night, which I thought was a great deal. Credit cards accepted. Huge room with fan. Very clean. Wifi. Ten minutes of hot water in the shower, which was just enough. Excellent restaurant onsite--great breakfasts for a pittance. Location was a short walk from the Plaza Mayor. Friendly staff. Tranquil and serene atmosphere. Hard to leave...

Although we didn't stay in the hotel, we regularly ate breakfast in their restaurant. ||The service was good and quite attentive, the food was marvellous. I highly recommend the huevos divorciados (divorced eggs). Yolks were cooked to perfection every time, and the fried potato gratin that accompanied the meal was yummy, not to mention the salsa verde which had the right amount of heat to it. The best thing about the breakfast is their hot chocolate, this comes in a litre flask ensuring second or third helpings. The only downside was how cold the restaurant is first thing in the morning. There is an open fireplace however, it was never lit to help warm up the room, luckily the hot chocolate helped!

Yelp
We just left this enchanting old world hotel. Staff is very friendly, clean rooms and great location. We had no problems other than the room being a bit warm but we'd open the doors in the evening cooling the room down a bit before bedtime. Very affordable, I stayed here with my two young daughters, ages 17 and 10. Both girls loved San Miguel de Allende and this hotel. Would definitely return again to Quinta Loreto
