This is a sweet little place on the north end of the historic area. It is extremely clean and very, very friendly. The furniture is older but immaculate. Very safe and secure. They no longer serve breakfast. The room was quite large. Loved my stay!

First I have to say I had low expectations from this place, but I was completely surprised since the moment we check-in, the welcome was warm and very pleasant, the guy who received us gave us all the information and took us to our room. The public areas are really beautiful, full of green areas and nice views. Our room was with one queen size bed, comfortable for two people. The room was spacious and clean, it had all bathroom amenities, hair dryer, good TV and a closet with additional blankets in case it was too cold at night. ||||The breakfast is served from 8 to 11 am, it includes fruit, cereal, milk, juice, coffee and bread, there are other options with additional cost that you can ask for.||||Parking is included, even is not within the hotel is very close to it, very spacious and safe.||||In general I recommend this hotel if what you look for is a place near the downtown, where you can rest and not spend a lot of money on.

We (a retired Canadian couple) recently spent 2 nights at this hotel. From the street, it looks very low key but once inside - it is lovely. And, while it is very close to all of the city action, it is peaceful. Our room, (#10) was at the back and opens up onto an inner garden courtyard. The room was modern and comfortable with a great bed and good linens. We even had our own little private deck off the side. The courtyard, where breakfast is served, offers a nice respite from the hustle of Queretaro. Staff were always available, helpful and friendly. Given the newness of the room, the peaceful atmosphere and the location - we felt that it offered great value.

Nice hotel close to the historic district. Free parking is really great, and it is not too far from the hotel. Room # 1 is quite noisy during the night from the street. Small continental breakfast but with extra $ it is possible to have a traditional Mexican meals.

Super clean hotel at a great location. Very attentive staff. We were there for a family wedding so we had the entire first floor to ourselves. Two things that bothered me:||(1) The hotel has a big ironwork door that is kept locked. The front desk buzzes people in *and* out. This is to prevent would-be petty thieves from entering the facility. On the first day I did not think much of it, but on the second day we were coming back to the hotel in the middle of the day and there was no one at the front desk. There is a bell to ring, so we rang it, for a long time. When the front desk lady came to the door, she said that when no one is at the front door, the door is padlocked in addition to the buzzer. She unlocked it with a key she had on her. Then she went to her desk to buzz us in. First, this made us realize that if we had been inside, we would be locked in. In an emergency, there would be no way to get out fast. Second, it is really unpleasant to have to wait several minutes in the Queretaro heat to get back into the room. ||(2) The cleaning staff go out of their way in ways that are weird. The shampoo that I brought from home cracked slightly, so I left it upside down. When I got in the shower the next morning, they had straightened it. The result is that the shampoo leaked. Over 24 hours, it was all gone. Same with my stuff on the sink counter- it got moved around and organized in ways that were not necessary and even a bit creepy. I was a single adult in a 2-bedroom room, so I put my carry-on on the second bed, on top of the feet runner to not put it right on the linens. The carry-on got moved to the closet, for which they moved my clothes on hangers to make room for it. There is no "do not disturb sign" in the room so I made one by hand. The sign was honored. This helped the environment too because they change the sheets daily.

I booked this hotel for 9 nights, hoping that the internet would be fast enough to allow me to work remotely for a week before taking an actual vacation in nearby San Miguel. Hotel Quinta Lucca did not disappoint! The internet was adequately fast even for video meetings. (About 15Mbps download speed and 11Mbps upload). ||I booked the junior suite, which had a little sofa and a private patio near the garden. Exactly what I'd hoped for! The WiFi strength was adequate in the room, so I was able to work effectively during the day, and tourist around at night and on the weekends. ||Staff was very nice (though one should not expect English service anywhere in Quéretaro). The location was fantastic. No restaurant onsite except for breakfast, but many places nearby. It was about a five minute walk south to the tourist center, but I found I enjoyed the areas just to the east and west of the tourist center more. In ten or fifteen minutes you can get anywhere you'd want to. ||I did not rent a car, and don't really recommend it. Traffic is ridiculous in the historic center and parking must be a nightmare (there are paid lots nearby though).||I found the bed comfortable enough for me (other reviewers warned of the beds being too firm). My suite was well lit but at no time was it too hot. It looks like they have upgraded the windows recently and it shows! The only things I would suggest are some small repairs that would go a long way such as fixing a couple of damaged tile tables, and the screen door didn't open and close properly. I would have loved to have had a mini fridge in the suite, especially since there is no onsite restaurant. ||The temperature was completely comfortable in April but I wonder if it would be too cold at night at colder times of the year. (There is no central heating).||I would definitely stay here again.

A great value in downtown Queretaro perfect for walking around to see the plazas and historic areas. The room was comfortable and quiet, just off the courtyard. The included breakfast was good. Although there is a locked security gate at the front, I did feel that it was not as secure as it could have been since the staff did not question who you were or check any identification so really anyone could be going in or out.

No air conditioning, poor acoustic isolation, no breakfast included, poor privacy. Although the room was clean and spacious, I just couldn't feel comfortable. Travelling on business purposes. Would recommend though for young people not willing to spend high on accomodation, but still be in a reasonable place and near most touristic sites.

Yelp
Location, location, location! Plus a charming staff who do all they can to make your stay perfect. In the heart of Centro Histórico, walk to beautiful plazas, important historical sites, wonderful restaurants. Rooms are simple but spacious. Every morning, join others for breakfast on terrace or comedor. A gracious lady asks for your order.. a lovely beginning of your day.
