The Quinta Minera Hotel in Cosala is a lovely, peaceful retreat. Our room was excellent with very comfortable beds and pillows. The decor was charming, a combination of hacienda style and new - Saltillo tile floors and pristine white bed coverings, for example. But the garden area and pools were extraordinary: many fruit trees, lovely bushes, and a working windmill! Go during the week when it is not crowded and spend a couple of days relaxing.

Last saturday, decided to do a fast trip to Cosalá, a mining "magic" town located north of Mazatlán, so we took the road early in the morning, we had a wonderful ride, with a great view of the scenery, the trip yook a litle bit more of two hours, but arrived at the town with plenty of time to visit the various sites, and had lunch at the Hotel Quinta Minera, it is a very nice place, quite pleasant, ||They put a very good brunch buffet so we went for it, it was worth it.||The hotel has a lot of history and worth the trip.

Quaint, historic hotel with many rooms available. They offer 2 pools and an in house restaurant which serves excellent Mexican cuisine with some local dishes only found here.
