This is a gem of a hotel, very close to the airport and situated on a family farm. It does indeed have a beautiful view: of the farm, the surrounding mountains and the city of Quito. We were upgrades to a nice room in a separate building, with an excellent shower. Everything was spotless. Even though we hadn't arranged it in advance, our host made us a lovely simple pasta dinner. The free transfer to the airport early in the morning worked perfectly. Highly recommended when arriving or departing Quito. Or as a base from which to explore for a few days.

I had an excellent stay here. My flight was cancelled at the last minute, and I needed a place to stay for the night. The place was spotless (the cleanest hotel I have seen in South America), beautiful, and very comfortable. The bathroom was also quite large, the staff was very friendly, not to mention that the environment was so peaceful. I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to be close to the Quito Airport. It is not the cheapest place to stay, but it also is affordable in comparison to other hotels I have checked near the airport. Transportation to and from the airport and breakfast is also included. Breakfast included juice, tea, coffee, eggs, bread, and fruit.

What a great relaxing and charming Oasis. Very laid back. Maybe not luxury accommodation, but everything you need. Comfortable (but firm) bed, great breakfast, nice staff. Easy pickup at airport (slight extra charge, but worth it, it's farther than you think). Very clean rooms, beautiful gardens with some animals And georgeous plants and views. Would highly recommend for before or after airport, or even a layover to catch some shut-eye. Wood beam construction with lovely wife plank wood floors, clay tile roof, some rooms have small balcony. Nice common areas with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating indoors and out.

I feel mixed about this guest house. If you are looking for a cheap, quiet, overnight stay near to the airport then I think this is a good choice. They serve breakfast (rather haphazard with eggs arriving with fruit) and a limited choice evening meal. The grounds are charming as the guest house is small working small holding. The staff are very friendly and speak good English.||||However, I was booked in here by my UK travel company for 2 nights. It is deserted during the day, does not serve lunch or snacks and being very very isolated, it is impossible to walk to a cafe. I paid $50 round trip for a taxi to get into the historic centre of Quito. My original room was small, dark, just off reception so noisy, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. I was moved to a larger cabin room for my second night which was much better. ||||I would suggest that it would be a good choice for a short overnight stay near the airport - but request a cabin room - but not a good choice if you want to see Quito.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise! It's just minutes from the airport but out in the country where it's beautiful, peaceful and quaint. You travel down a dirt road and enter through wooden gates. ||||Gabriela was so helpful, getting us checked in and ordering food for us since it was late. We had a nice, small dinner in the dining room. It feels more like an inviting home than a hotel. ||||Our room was small but adequate with a nice bathroom and a small balcony looking out at the mountains. Our bed was clean and comfortable. If you have a room inside the main building you might hear people talking down the stairs or the dining room being cleaned late at night. Other than that, we rested comfortably. There were cottages so they might be quieter but it really wasn't a problem. ||||They have a shuttle to the airport and are prompt in getting you there. ||||We would choose Posada Mirolindo again if we are going to the Quito area. Thanks for a nice stay!

We had a lovely stay at Posada Mirolindo! We arrived late at night and had to leave early in the morning, but the staff arranged airport transfer both ways. The roads leading up to the hotel were a little bumpy and are dark at night, but we arrived safely and the staff was very helpful even though it was late. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious too! I wish we could have stayed longer!

We recently spent 10 days in Ecuador. During our visit we were in 4 different cities and stayed in 4 different hotels or hostels during our stay. Posada Mirolindo was by far the best experience that we had while in Ecuador. The rooms, bathrooms and common areas were all very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and despite being only 10 or 15 minutes from the airport it was quiet at night and we were able to rest well. The staff went out of their way to make our visit to Ecuador an exceptional experience including arranging for laundry to be done, arranging for transportation to and from the airport and even offering to fix breakfast for us at 4:00 am before we had to leave for the airport for our flight home. We would definitely stay at Posada Mirolindo again and would recommend it to our friends and family! Thanks for helping to make our visit to Ecuador a wonderful experience!

My wife and myself had the pleasure of staying a night at Posada Mirolindo. We stayed in a cosy cabin which was well furnished. As we were at altitude no need for air con. Views of the Andes from our window. Bed very comfortable. Shower took a time to warm up, but fine when it did. Breakfast was lovely as it was freshly cooked. As we were leaving for the airport at 17.00 we stayed all day and as there was nobody using our room we were allowed to use it all day. We ate in the hotel lunchtime, delicious it was. The ambiance of the place was brilliant if you like animals, there were llamas, cows, a donkey, sheep and super friendly dogs.
