Stayed here for the location. It’s dated. Paint peeling all over. Musky moldy smell throughout the halls and installations. Breakfast was not edible. Eggshells in the scrambled eggs, leather-like meat, undercooked boiled hot dogs. Not what it used to be years ago during my earlier visits. You have to purchase a swim cap to use the pool, which seems antiquated and unnecessary by international resort standards. There were many outside day guests at the hotel, making facilities overcrowded for overnight guests. Instead of a fun poolside vibe, there was a Catholic mass (lasting more than 45 minutes) and private event, which entirely killed the relaxing setting. Even the staff was embarrassed and apologetic. Completely inappropriate for a public secular space where people come to relax not hear a priest speaking incessantly over a microphone. Bottom line, go somewhere else, if you want a relaxing and decent stay while in Quito. This place is horrible.

The facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

The worst costumer service I've ever experienced, I get it it has to be expensive but does that include the awful attitude of the entire staff too ?

I went there for a program. The place was really beautiful. The electricity in the city was off but their plants were working. I didn't even notice that they didn't have light. The personal and staff were really good, helpful and welcoming. Their food was also really good, loved it. Though I stayed for only 3 hours. I will definitely go back given the chance.

This is a historic hotel located on the edge of the mountain. It has beautiful views of the valley below. Book using Expedia to get the breakfast included. The staff speaks English and are very nice.

I got a cheap room for just one night. It was fine, comfortable, nothing special. The pool was really nice and of course fantastic views of the valley below. Obviously not really keeping up with the building as there is some dispute about selling off some of the land for another development. Not the luxury showcase hotel it used to be.

Nice view and location, clean and lovely staff but hotel is quite noisy! If it’s not the gardener at 7:30 am, it’s the music the hotel turns on in the garden at 8am or the noises from other rooms and corridors as walls seem to be old and thin. You won’t be able to have restful sleep at this hotel if that’s what you are expecting. Breakfast isn’t good either.
