Hotel Rad

Friendly welcoming service, brewery restaurant at the premices serves wide range of dining options, with even the evening buffet included providing substancial hearty dinner of good quality and option. Budget room is not so spacious but functional and neat .

We were on a europe trip when our car broke down. We were taken to this hotel and I'm thankful we were. The hotel itself is nice and clean with an included breakfast and dinner, that were both very good but for us what stood out was the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. They let us store our groceries in their freezer and let us check out 2 hours later, free of charge, so we didn't have to wait out on the street when our car repairs were finished off. Would definetly recommend to every traveler in the area.

Variety and taste of food (dinner and breakfast) was really excellent. However, quality of rooms could be better - in first oferred room smell was like in tobacco factory and in second room they just forget to change the towels...

AMAZING! I stayed in that hotel about 1 week. During our staying we enjoyed a lot. Hotel is super clean, rooms are big and clean, foods are delicious, staff are super friendly and helpful. Specially; lady from reception Ala (Alice), and gentlemen from restaurant: Alex, Dariusz, Adam were so kind and helpful. I definitely recommend here. If you are planning to stay don't hesitate. Rooms are of average standard. You really need to get a business one if you're after better size and comfort. Breakfast used to be better in the past with a live chef making eggs and omelette. There was a better selection of dishes and now it's shrunk by a lot. The extra dinner option they've included is again rather limited (boiled potatoes, pickles and one type of cooked pork). No tea or coffee included either, which is a shame...

I have booked an apartment here with separate bedroom. Room was very nice. There were 2 tv- sets. One in bedroom and one in living room. Breakfast was OK, dinner which was included in the price very simple- only 1 course. Billiard was for free in hotel. However caps for biliard cues were broken so it was not so comfortable to play with. That should be improved very fast. It is easy and not so big cost. They have also bowling, of course paid but it was big fun. Hotel is located far from centre but taxi was only 7 pln... so no problem at all. They have big parking. Generally for this price it was worth to stay there.

They claim they have a restaurant and bar operating until 9pm, but if you arrive at 8:30 they won't serve anything to eat. Personelle of a dubious preparation: little English and stone faced when you try to discuss with them. The rooms are fine, but avoid at any cost the restaurant.

I have been in this hotel with two colleagues for three days. All rooms has an air condition. In the hotel are two restaurants. One restaurant is downstairs and is more like a sports bar. Beside, there is a bowling arena. The restaurant in the ground floor is an upper class restaurant. The service is very common and stuff has always a smile on the face. We enjoyed to eat there international and Polish cuisine. ||I can recommend this hotel for every business traveler. One disadvantage is, that I can't find the spa and the fitness room in the hotel.

Ever been in a very nice hotel that's surrounded by what could be described as a poor area? If you haven't, maybe you should try Hotel Rad in Grudziądz. Grudziądz itself is a town of contrasts too: amazingly beautiful from the riverside where you have the nice view on the medieval graneries, but very grey and industrial inside the center of the town. I have visited no other town in Poland that made me think that much about the Soviet times. Hotel Rad is very well fenced off from the rest of the area, so let there be no understanding: you won't feel unsafe! The big contrast is just surrealistic. But then again: it could be a very good reason to visit the place! Inside the hotel, you really have nothing to complain about: nice breakfast buffet, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, etc...
