22 Best Hotels in Montreal, From Grand Dames to Sleek Boutiques | Condé Nast Traveler

"Located out in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG), this outlier hotel makes a persuasive case for exploring quieter parts of the city: design nods to historic railway lines give it a unique identity, the on-site Quai 6645 serves locally inflected crowd-pleasers like eggs Benedict and smoked meat club sandwiches, and cocktails are a highlight; being outside downtown also means rooms are spacious and full of natural light." - Todd Plummer

We just spent four wonderful and relaxing days at this brand new hotel while visiting friends in LaChine area. We had some difficulty locating the entrance of the hotel initially due to the construction on Rue Saint-Jacques. However, once we got used to it, it was not a big issue. The hotel definitely offered a sea of calm from the construction outside. The bilingual staff was courteous and friendly.||As diamond members, we were upgraded from a king room to a room with a kitchenette. The room was very well equipped, with Nespresso coffee makers, microwave, refrigerator, and hand held steamer. There were plenty of USB/C ports for charging electronics. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was actually the most comfortable hotel bed that we had ever slept in. ||We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant there. The food was delicious and beautifully presented; the service was very courteous, but it was not as efficient as a well established facility. The jazz music in the background was also very relaxing.||Parking was free and outdoors; there were also lots of EV charging stations. There was a supermarket, and restaurants within walking distance across the street. In addition, nearby Rue Sherbrooke offered lots of options for neighborhood exploration. The hotel itself was close to the highway, and offered easy access to different areas of greater Montreal.||Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. However, quite a few rooms were very close to the road, so one may need to exercise caution in room selection. In addition, we had difficulty finding our room initially, the room numbers were actually on the mirror facing the elevator.||We will definitely return to this hotel if we visit LaChine again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's new, which we loved, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. I'm picky about cleanliness, but this place was spotless. Karen at reception was friendly and welcoming. We also had a quick interaction with the housekeeping lady who was pleasant. Our room had a kitchenette we didn’t use, but it was stocked with pots, pans, and other essentials. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch too. We didn’t get a chance to try the food located lobby, but after reading the positive reviews, we are already looking forward to trying it on a future visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Very recently opened hotel, hence top shape in almost every aspect. Room we stayed in was basically one bedroom with a living area and a spacious bathroom. There are bowls, plates, utensils and cooking gear for basic stuff, an induction top, microwave, basically a mini-kitchen. Service was very nice. Access might seem a bit tricky as the road in the area was in construction, otherwise convenient distance to downtown by car. We had some noisy neighbours but the trains running on the railway 50m from the hotel were astonishingly quiet. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful hotel. It is small, which is a positive. We stayed in a room with two very comfortable queen beds. The bathroom was spacious with two shower heads and good water pressure. The restaurant is small, but the food was fresh and flavorful. The service was impecable and the staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel has free parking with several EV chargers. It is a 15 minute drive to the city center and old port, and we drove back and forth every day.

My husband and I got married and wanted a quick getaway and stay at a nice relaxing hotel. It was our first time coming to Railway Park Hotel in Montreal and it definitely will not be our last! The receptionist Maite was very welcoming and gave us great service! The room was beautiful and spacious. The staff was friendly. They made our special day even better! It’s close to Downtown, I would definitely recommend going!

What a beautiful new hotel. The decor is to die for, it smells great, is clean and the service is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and the bed and pillows are so comfortable. It’s extremely quiet. They have a large variety of choices for breakfast, it was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the service at the front counter and in the dining area, food was absolutely amazing and service was quick. The room was tidy and bed very comfortable, bath room was clean and shower pressure was perfect . Free parking is a bonus and there is plenty of it. Have no complaints about the hotel at all and worth every dollar

Beautiful, elegant, new and clean hotel. Conveniently located near downtown Montreal and just 20 minutes from the airport. Free parking and a delicious breakfast are included.||The rooms are spacious, allowing you to spread out and truly relax. There’s also a fitness centre available to help you stay in shape during your stay.||The staff is friendly and professional, and free WiFi is provided so you can work or stay connected with family and friends.||I highly recommend this hotel, located in the NDG (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce) neighborhood, where you can experience the authentic lifestyle of the city.||And if you’re a coffee lover — they serve Café Olimpico coffee ☕️ — the perfect way to start a great day!

Yelp
I booked this hotel through the Hilton Honors app using 100% points and took advantage of the the fifth free promo perk! The property itself is fairly new, just a few months old, so everything still feels crisp and well-maintained. It's not the most central spot if you're planning to hit all the tourist attractions in Montreal, but it's a comfortable base if you don't mind taking a rideshare or metro. What really made the stay memorable, though, was the staff. Everyone from the front desk to maintenance, the bartenders, and the restaurant servers--was genuinely warm, friendly, and eager to help. Whether it's that signature Canadian hospitality or the energy of an international team, it truly added to the experience. As Hilton Gold members, we were upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely surprise. We also used our $15 pp food and beverage credit to dine at the hotel restaurant. The shrimp tacos were a hit, and breakfast didn't disappoint either; the parfait and breakfast burrito were both fresh and flavorful. The restaurant décor has a modern, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to linger over coffee or an adult beverage. There are a few supermarkets like H-mart, Super C, etc within walking distance! One small note: there's quite a bit of construction happening right in front of the hotel, so it's worth budgeting a little extra travel time. But overall, this stay checked all the right boxes--friendly service, good food, and a comfortable space to unwind.
