Hotel Rambla Benidorm

Friendly staff . Very efficient. Food really isn’t great worse breakfast I have ever tried! . But with determination you can find something to eat. It’s dated but clean . Long walk to main strip . £7/9 taxi ride . Parrot is lovely. Pool looked dirty.

Looking at previous reviews I was so worried about staying here. We booked through a travel agency and this was the hotel we got. ||||Upon arrival it was all in darkness so we were very worried as we didn’t get to the hotel till 2am however the lights were sensors so once we walked in they came on. ||||The reception staff were lovely and friendly. The hotel is very clean, and cool on reception. The lifts were working. ||||Our room was lovely. Very spacious. Had a huge bed. Balcony. Hair dryer. Wardrobe. Safe. Only thing is the air conditioning is not very powerful it didn’t cool the room much but was manageable. Cleaners came in everyday!||||We didn’t use the pool as it looked dirty with limescale around the edging, however this was cleaned on our last day. We used the beach which was only a 5 minute walk if that. ||||We had breakfast every day which was 8-10 very good times. Huge variety of choice. With hot and cold drinks available too. ||||I cannot fault this hotel. It’s very clean. The staff are very nice. It’s near everything you could possibly need. Please go ahead and use this hotel as it’s massively improved since precious reviews. ||||Would definitely return and would definitely recommend! :)

Leo on reception is a great example of how you expect to be greeted. The hotel is a bit dated but clean. Comfortable king size bed decent size room with balcony at the front of the hotel (room 205). Don't let the reviews put you off. We would definitely stay here again.

Lots of awful reviews, I'm not sure what people expect! Most buffets can be rather repetitive but we only paid a very small sum to go from room only to half board. |The room was fine, maybe a little dated, as was the bathroom. Lovely shower (in bath).|We used the pool quite a bit which was great to cool down in.|Location has pros & cons. Only 5 minutes walk down the hill to Poniente Beach.|If you want all the lively bars for tribute acts they are best part of half an hour away, but enjoyed the walk along the two beach proms.

Well where do I start! Read reviews on the hotel and decided they can’t all be bad hmmmm. I can now see why they were bad, our booking stated we could check in at 2pm we Arrived at 1pm to be told we could not check in until 4pm as our room wasn’t ready. We had to take our cases to the pool area and sit while the room was being cleaned or supposed to have been cleaned. Wrong it was minging. ||||Pool area ||Advertised lawn pool sun loungers. What they forgot to say was rubble round sides of pool and cuttings of the fake grass lying to the side area which was supposed to be a pathway out on to the street. ||Room||When we did get our room we just burst out laughing at the state of it. There was more lumps and bumps on the ceiling the road outside was smoother. On to the balcony where two plastic seats and a round rusty table welcomed us. The paint and plaster on the walls were all colours from being patched up. ||The room that was cleaned or so-called the dust was lying on bedside lockers tissues under the bed and last but not least two drawers where we went to put our stuff when you opened the drawers the base part also opened so noting could be put in them. Balcony door would not lock (we asked for it to be fixed and still waiting It was never done ) no fridge in room. Tv with no remote no kettle ||||Bathroom ||Tap on sink was rusty bath was dirty looking as it was that old and the coating on it was gone. Long dark Hairs were lying beside the toilet and even though the room was cleaned each day the same hairs were mopped to different parts of the bathroom floor.cleaner did eventually change our towels but didn’t leave any to replace them when went to reception to get more they came up to check room before they gave us more ||||Food ||We were bed and breakfast which we tried on day one that was enough. The fresh pears were nice and the mederia cakes also that was only thing we ate. ||Staff|| not very pleasant. Or approachable with the exception of one lady who smiled but had very little English. Then there was the parrot type bird flying round the reception area and dumping all over place.||We made the most of our stay by staying and eating at the beach each day and out to new town at night. One good point was it was good location short 5 minutes walk to beach. ||I do not know how this is a 3 star hotel ||Would I stay here again ? Not a chance ||I would definitely return to the area but not this hotel

the best hotel i’ve ever stayed at. food was unreal. the whole atmosphere of the place was electric. one of the best rooms. amazing air conditioning kept the room very cold during a hot time. the pool was perfect and very nice. perfect view of the beach with a lovely balcony.

Reading the reviews was enough to make us want to cancel. So glad we didn’t. It is what it is, great location and helpful staff. For the price you can’t grumble. Quiet rooms and slept very well. Some people like to have a moan so I wanted to share a more positive outlook from my experience so please don’t let others put you off. It’s cheap and cheerful. Hope this helps

Currently sat here writing this review while the hotel has no running water. That should say enough.||The food is almost inedible — we looked at the food and decided not to eat in the hotel. You’ll likely end up spending more money eating out just to avoid the hotel’s meals, which completely defeats the purpose of choosing a budget option.||The pool area is disappointing — small, grubby, and poorly maintained. There’s no shade during the hottest part of the day (no parasols or shaded areas), yet ironically, it becomes fully shaded later in the afternoon when you might actually want some sun.||Overall, this place is a false economy. Don’t be tempted by the slightly cheaper price — you’ll end up paying more trying to avoid being here. Book somewhere better.
