Despite the advertised and website info stating that there is Wi-Fi at the hotel, there isn’t, at all. In 2025 zero Wi-Fi at a hotel is unheard of but Hotel Rambla doesn’t have WiFi.Air conditioning was hit and miss. I arrived at 3am and the evening reception staff stated that only the day reception staff could sort out the A/C. It was so hot in the room when I first arrived I had no choice but to open the none locking balcony door. Hello mosquitos. The A/C is controlled remotely by reception so if it’s like when I arrived, 32oC, it’s a bit oven ready in the room. The hotel is old, pretty run down, but served it purpose and provided a relatively comfortable bed, a shower and a toilet. It’s let down by the lack of modern amenities such as WiFi, and controllable A/CI went to reception every evening to ask for the A/C to be switched on but it was very, very temperamental. I was not the only person to experience this, many other guests were experiencing the same. The room safe, it requires a €1 coin for every time you use it. Again, the website states a safe is available but fails to give you the detail that you need €1 coins at the ready. Breakfast was very sparse offerings but I expected this as it is advertised as 3⭐️. I ate elsewhere but this was my choice.Overall, for the price of the 5 nights I stayed here there are much better hotels with the same star rating with more modern amenities for the same price. Read the reviews and look around and in my experience, this should be your last resort.

the best hotel i’ve ever stayed at. food was unreal. the whole atmosphere of the place was electric. one of the best rooms. amazing air conditioning kept the room very cold during a hot time. the pool was perfect and very nice. perfect view of the beach with a lovely balcony.

Lots of awful reviews, I'm not sure what people expect! Most buffets can be rather repetitive but we only paid a very small sum to go from room only to half board. |The room was fine, maybe a little dated, as was the bathroom. Lovely shower (in bath).|We used the pool quite a bit which was great to cool down in.|Location has pros & cons. Only 5 minutes walk down the hill to Poniente Beach.|If you want all the lively bars for tribute acts they are best part of half an hour away, but enjoyed the walk along the two beach proms.

Leo on reception is a great example of how you expect to be greeted. The hotel is a bit dated but clean. Comfortable king size bed decent size room with balcony at the front of the hotel (room 205). Don't let the reviews put you off. We would definitely stay here again.

Reading the reviews was enough to make us want to cancel. So glad we didn’t. It is what it is, great location and helpful staff. For the price you can’t grumble. Quiet rooms and slept very well. Some people like to have a moan so I wanted to share a more positive outlook from my experience so please don’t let others put you off. It’s cheap and cheerful. Hope this helps

Currently sat here writing this review while the hotel has no running water. That should say enough.||The food is almost inedible — we looked at the food and decided not to eat in the hotel. You’ll likely end up spending more money eating out just to avoid the hotel’s meals, which completely defeats the purpose of choosing a budget option.||The pool area is disappointing — small, grubby, and poorly maintained. There’s no shade during the hottest part of the day (no parasols or shaded areas), yet ironically, it becomes fully shaded later in the afternoon when you might actually want some sun.||Overall, this place is a false economy. Don’t be tempted by the slightly cheaper price — you’ll end up paying more trying to avoid being here. Book somewhere better.

First day my mates stuff got stolen which was a bit of an inconvenience. I also found my toothbrush must’ve been stolen but only realised half way through the week. The pool is so salty you don’t even need to go to the beach. Recommend to big families and groups of people looking for a good time away.

Having read the reviews, I thought we were going to arrive at the hotel from the Inbetweeners. Location is good and around 5 minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are basic, air con is timed and controlled so it's only on between 5pm ish and 8am, no fridges in the room and they are pretty basic. But they are clean and cleansers are in most days. We were booked on full board, as a party of 17 we ate in the restaurant on the first evening. We arrived just as it opened. The food is served buffet style and to be honest it's the worst food I've ever eaten at a hotel in my life, we did return for breakfast but this was equally as bad. Which TBF is a real shame as they probably waste that much food it costs them the same as if they served decent food. We ended up eating out the rest of the time. All In all it's not as bad a some of the reviews. But at the end of the day it's a 3 star hotel. But some aspects the food etc is far below 1 star. The hotel is in need of renovation across most areas. The pool is there and functional. The staff though are all helpful.
