Hotel Rangsharda

I stayed here in February 2025 for a two-day business trip in a single-occupancy room. The rate was reasonable, and the location was excellent. The service was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was clean, well-maintained, and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a hassle-free experience that made my trip smooth and enjoyable.

I stayed here with my family on 01/09/2025 and it was nothing short of a nightmare. Checked in at 5:30 PM and checked out the next day at 2 PM, yet the hotel had the audacity to charge me for an extra half day – despite my booking being for a full day. Pure daylight robbery. The property itself feels like a purani haveli straight out of a horror movie – peeling paint, rotten doors, and a suffocatingly neglected vibe everywhere you look. The picture I’ve attached of the door says it all – it looks like it’s survived two centuries of haunted house stories. Hospitality? Non-existent. Cleanliness? Horrifying. Value for money? Zero. I honestly felt unsafe and deeply uncomfortable bringing my family here. This is not a hotel – it’s a rundown relic that should be condemned, not charging guests premium rates. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to pay extra to live a horror show.

I had been to this place for the first time to attend a conference in its hall on the first floor. The way to the washroom area was all and there was no latch inside the washroom. The air conditioning in the hall was horrible, couldn't feel the cooling for a very long time. However the sound system (not sure if it was from the organisers of the hall owner itself) was great and so also the entire setup on the stage. There are no buses or auto rickshaws available from here to go back to the railway station, had tough time finding one.

Location is spot on Price is reasonable compared to location. It's a old property.. lots of maintenance and keep up expected... If you want low cost and clean space go for this Do not expect much ... just stay and leave

I had a very bad experience during my stay at Hotel Tangsharda. The rooms were messy and not maintained properly. The AC was not working at all, making it very uncomfortable. On top of that, the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made the entire stay unpleasant. Overall, this hotel did not meet even basic standards. I definitely do not recommend staying here.

Dirty hotel staff was was very rude too wen we got in hotel there was had availability to check in early but the man with glasses behind the reception said 10am because at 10 am wen gave us keys for rooms they close the hot water till 6pm again which was disgusting service if you have been traveling need a shower wen you get in hotel but cant shower because it doent come on again tell 6pm then after checking in the dirty rooms we cam down asked for wifi the lady said no wifi on your floor sorry but was wifi on 10 floor 11 floor and rest but not on 9 floor then i flipped no hot water no wifi and said this service is disgusting hotel tile s are not white as should be mouldy in the bed wat are made up mouths baths all stained they are not treating the people from uk the way they treat people from there which isnt right every one should be treated equally no mater ever your from extra charge alway our way .

Awe fully smelling rooms, needs renovation. The rooms were not belonging to this century
