If you don't want people to enter your hotel, just put the signs at the main entrance, not in the bushes on the side. If you don't want people to enter your hotel just lock the door. And if someone enters the hotel because the signs are unclear and the door is open, why not be kind and just tell them where the public toilet is located? We thought about staying here for 3 nights but now we are going elsewhere.
Edit: No, this is strictly false! At the main entrance, there is no clear sign. There is a sign, as shown here, that the car park is only for the guests. I am a) not a car and b) did not park there. Also it states the times when the restaurant is open. I was not looking for a restaurant, so why should I care about the opening hours of the restaurant? So no, there is NO clear sign. The only sign is at the side entrance, but people walking uphill from the lower car park do not see that sign. Also the way the person talked to me is not acceptable. So, again, put up a sign on both sides and lock the door or stop treating people like they've commited a crime. That is far from being professional. I visit many hotels and places around the globe every year and no one ever treated me like that, no matter if I was a guest or not.
