So relaxing and comfortable! We stayed 3 nights and will definitely return. Great location, stunning views, the food is beyond description fantastic - a highlight, in fact, the service just so so wonderful - it felt like coming home and being with good friends! Highly recommend!

Terribly rude man works in a restaurant. I didn't want to go into details. But since the hotel responds in this spirit... I could break your rules and go to the toilet without permission, although there is a sign on the street that the toilet is located along the arrow at the hotel. However, this does not give you the right to communicate with me in a rude manner. You could have politely commented on the situation. But you demanded money very sharply and rudely. At that moment my child was walking on your playground. There is no sign prohibiting non-hotel guests from entering there. The child is disabled, and he would like to take another walk there. But again, you rudely informed me that then I should buy a drink. I was forced to refuse the child and leave your territory after I paid for your toilet within a minute. I was not a hotel guest. But it is quite possible that she could be. Although after this I would hardly have stayed. Thank you for spoiling the impression of this wonderful place.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our entire experience was outstanding. The rooms were nice with an incredible deck view of the mountains and the food and service was quite good, as we had breakfast and dinner daily. As Americans it is hard to believe that such a good place can be found at this price in one of the prettiest places in the world. Val di Funes is super quaint and there is fantastic hiking right outside the hotel. We highly recommend that you drive to the parking area several miles up the mountain and start your hike there, as you can hike for days from there and there are lots of good huts to have food and beverage. We know we have found a great nontouristy spot when there are no other Americans and that was definitely the case at this hotel and this area. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

TLDR: My best Italy stay and experience has everything to do with this hotel I am spending around 3 weeks in Italy and this is actually just the second place or city that I visited. I booked a single room with the hotel where I also paid for the dinner since it's shoulder season so I don't think there are many restaurants available and I'm lazy to cook myself. To start off the reviews with the only cons that I can only think are 1) It will be quite tiring if you have big and heavy luggage since the journey to the hotel from bus stop is around 70% uphill. But this will be fine if you're not traveling by bus and also this would mean your journey to the bus stop after checking out would be easier since it's going downhill. 2) It could be very crowded during peak season since they are many many pros which I will go through below Ok so for the pros: 1) Great location: Not just beside a bus stop but just around 5 to 10 minutes away with normal walking pace. It's just beside Church of St. John (p/s: which I don't think worth paying 4 eur to go in and visit by the way) and nearby to Zannes which I think everyone should visit? Also if you're planning to give toboggan run a try, you can have it run from Glatschalm all the way down to the hotel or Waldschenke nearby which I highly recommend 2) Great hospitality from the owners which the hotel is run by the family. They are always so helpful which I find it's a great great point to stay here. 3) Great room and facilities and services: Single room is not small at all, the bed is huge for me which comes with a big pillow and little pillow LOL. there is even a sofa and balcony if you would some outdoor view which also adds a lot of point where you can see the mountain from the room. There are still place where I still can leave my luggage open widely on the floor. The bathroom is a little bit small but cozy, where I don't feel cold at all. Lastly the shower is superb which I really appreciate. Hot water is hot enough and fast and the water pressure is great. And the water doesn't have any problem flowing down and doesn't leak outside from the shower area which again I really appreciate. They even have 2 saunas as the facilities for the hotel guests and there's also high tea available. 4) Great breakfast and dinner Breakfast is quite typical and good but dinner is quite high standard but homey at the same time. If you have dinner included then you will have the menu to choose from when you check in or every morning during breakfast. During my 3 nights of stay here the entree and main of everyday is always different and great. They would usually have 2 choices to choose from where one would be more suitable for vegetarian or vegan. They even pack me a big bag of breakfast even though I just asked for a simple bread with ham and cheese since I'll be leaving early in the morning. 5) Great price with around ~110 eur per night maybe because I'm traveling off season? With all those, easily 5/5 or even more than that.

The food at the restaurant is nice looking but terrible flavor. Our meals came out individually about 30 to 45 mins apart for a party of four. But it didn't matter because we only tried bites of eachothers to tey to guess the flavor. The servers were nice, the coffee is good. But the food flavor is so strange on all the dishes we ordered. Most disappointing but comical meal of our two week trip.

This is a great family friendly place at the top end of the beautiful Villnoess valley in the dolomite region of the Italian alps. Brilliant position for hiking and to be away from everything. The family run place is immaculate, breakfast and dinner excellent and we could relax in the sauna and whirlpool after hiking up and down the mountains. There is a playroom for kids and a play ground outside. The rooms are good quality and have everything you need. The view from the hotel on to the Geislerspitzen is incredible. We will go back.

This hotel is nestled in at the end of the valley and it's close to the trails heading into the Dolomites at the base of Seceda. Our room had a view looking down the incredibly beautiful valley and other rooms have a wonderful view of the mountains. We ate dinner at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with a delicious 4 coarse meal! Our only complaint was that the water for the shower was tepid at best.||||One thing to note, they lock the doors at night (not sure what time). Luckily they have an after-hours bell at the front door so we were able to get back in. But, we felt so bad for waking up one of the staff members to let us in.

Huge thank you to the lovely Fischnaller Family, yet again, for making our 6th stay at their wonderful hotel a relaxing and warm experience. The food was - as always - amazing and presented so beautifully that you almost felt too guilty to eat it! The lovely health spa - great to help ease the pain of hours of worthwhile trekking and skiing. Immaculate and comfortable all over. Child friendly and a perfect setting in winter with all the fun activities provided by the hotel, such as sledging.
