We didn't stay at the hotel we simply stopped in to take a look around. 5 stars for the lobby and the hotel. It's beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Went for a drink on the rooftop and from the moment we walked in, we were treated like an inconvenience. Service was horrible and lazy, drinks were way overpriced and nothing special. The hotel was quite empty, we were the only people on the rooftop and while it could have been a nice spot to relax for a bit, the seating was so uncomfortable. It’s a beautiful hotel, I’d only recommend walking through.

This place is a unique spot in The Jewish story of Havana the whole building is decorated with Jewish decor. The rooms are called with different Jewish names. The people working over there are quite familiar with the Jewish story…. the hotel in general is nice and cool and friendly staff. One of the Hotel keeper’s gave us a tour of the entire building and the rooftop and he even showed us the king David room

Cuba's parameters are excellent, and for the European tourist, it has elements of nostalgic discomfort - the water temperature is unregulated, the breakfast is below average, the staff is attentive, the hotel's location is the best historical center of Cuba! The hotel itself was a historical monument - beautiful ! A magnificent building!🫶🫶🫶

Came to visit old Havana and stayed by chance at Hotel Raquel. Like most of original Cuba, lost reservation, cash only, etc, however as this is expected, no bother. Had a lovely room, with open air shutters and good wifi. Centrally located. Felt like James Bond

Ideal location in the old part of town. Very nicely decorated; friendly staff and spacious rooms. The hotel does have significant water issues; our room (3rd floor) did not have hot water and there were times where the hotel did not have running water at all.

15th May 2017. A grand old hotel with touches of Art Deco glass panelling. Unfortunately the air conditioning is poor and, because the bedrooms are large and with high ceilings, it is sweltering through the night. The Atrium and surroundings are really nice but the bedrooms do require maintenance, no doubt a very expensive task. The roof top bar is good and there is a small stone cupola with a table and four chairs, cool with a light breeze. Breakfast is ample and their coffee is good (and hot), though no saucers anywhere. Staff are attentive and want to help. Beware of the offer of their liquour version of Havana rum, it is £12 a shot!!

Great location in the middle of Old Havana, good access to some of the squares. Hotel has beautiful lobby and a good terrace. Rooms are average but great AC and bed comfy enough. Shower not hot during peak times in mornings. Don't pin much hope on breakfast, ropey at best.
