HOTEL RATAN VILAS

Amazing hotel, a former home of the Maharaja, set back about 100 metres from a busy road. Once inside the hotel’s gates, you will be greeted by beautiful and lush gardens, a beautiful pool and lovely terrace where you can relax with a drink, or have breakfast and dinner. There are only 21 rooms, so never feels crowded , and the rooms are beautifully appointed, with huge bathrooms. |The staff cannot do enough for you, and even the owner and his wife, who are descendants of the Maharaja, are often seen wandering around the hotel chatting to guests. The food in the hotel is fresh and delicious, also has western food if you fancy a change to the Indian cuisine. Every evening a local musician plays authentic sounds while you have dinner, which is a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this hotel in the heart of Jodhpur.

What an incredible stay. This hotel is an oasis - absolutely stunning. All of the staff were attentive and caring and we felt so looked after. The pool was refreshing and the drinks cold. ||Rooms were spacious and well thought out. |Breakfast and dinner were good. The musician was a lovely touch. And have to mention Tuktuk - the hotel tortoise - he was great :)

I booked this place for my parents. They absolutely loved their stay! The staff was very friendly, modest and kind. Very helpful as well. The property was wonderful. The owner also personally spoke to every guest which was a lovely touch. Special shoutout to Yukti, she helped me while booking and also helped my parents with recommendations.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Staff is great. It is located a bit more out of the city centre, but this also means it's realtively quiet. Room was very good and spacious. The restaurant offers great food and has a nice atmosphere.

Very nice small hotel out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Jodhpur. An oasis of tranquility that is much welcome after a day visiting the sites in and around the city. We arrived ill after a day of traveling and were taken care of in the most incredible way at Ratan Vilas. From room service and all comfort to even arranging a doctor and nurse in our room – everything was provided with warmth and kindness. Thanks to their help, we quickly recovered and were able to continue our journey through Rajasthan. A beautiful hotel with outstanding service – highly recommended!

Amazing stay with colonial charm. Spotlessly clean and staff always superb and attentive. We were a family of 5, 3 teenagers with an autistic son and nut allergies . We ate almost all meals here and food was always delicious and allergens very carefully prepared.|One of our favorite stays in India and is a 5 🌟 |
