Hotel Rathaus Wein & Design Wien

We stayed at the Hotel Rathouse Wein and Design, located in a very quiet area of Vienna, close to the Rathouse. Our room (206), on the inner courtyard was very roomy and modern, with plenty of shelves and closets for unpacking your suitcases. The people in the reception area were welcoming and friendly as were the breakfast staff. All had a good command of English. We discovered the Room Card too late, but for those staying longer than 2 nights, you can opt out of room cleaning each day and earn yourself a glass of wine. For Wine afficionados, Jorge is quite the sommelier!||||You have to climb a half-flight of stairs before gaining access to the elevator. The staff will help bring you with your suitcases if you need it. Breakfast is an additional cost, but we found it was worth it. There are 3 or 4 restaurants on the street, so we didn't venture far from the hotel to get our dinner (Trilogie is Greek food and Fromme Helene (great inner courtyard) is typical Viennese cuisine.

We visited Vienna for 9 days and stayed in this fine hotel for our whole visit.|Friendly (and HELPFUL) staff, pleasant, clean rooms on a quiet street just a 10 minute walk for the busy inner city attractions.|Ample breakfast choices with meats, cheeses (even smoked salmon). Loved the real honeycomb as well.|Many restaurants within a 10 minute walk as well as grocery stores and other amenities.|I can't think of a thing to improve our stay. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel, staff was professional and friendly and helpful with questions and advice. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. The hotel is in a nice quite neighborhood yet close enough to all the sights. Highly recommend !

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this quaint little hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the property was. The location couldn’t have been better – just a short walk from the city center and conveniently close to the underground, making it incredibly easy to explore all that the city has to offer.||||The staff were exceptional – so friendly and always ready to assist, no matter the time of day. It felt like they genuinely cared about making my stay as comfortable as possible.||||I must also mention the breakfast – it was delicious and the perfect start to my day. It gave me all the energy I needed to tackle my itinerary.||The hotel is surrounded by everything you could need: shops, great hairdressers, and some amazing coffee spots. It really made for a lovely and convenient stay. I can't wait to return!

This is best hotel I have never been even way better than many 5start hotel in Europe, I was feel home. I love every single staff,I even can remember every single staff face. Just amazing place to stay. I’m still traveling Europe since January to today, really want to comeback again just for the staff and the hotel. Amazing hotel, loved the friendly staff and big clean rooms! Our stay was very pleasant 😁 definitely recommend trying out their wine collection! Meal options in the restobar downstairs are limited, but as the hotel is very centrally located, this is not an issue!

rooms: dated, family room with open bathroom (no door) is a no-go for us. shower door did not close either. shower has see-through glass-window to the hallway. We, as a family of three (14yr old daughter) felt very little private space in our room. We prefer having a bathroom where we we can brush teeth behind closed doors. breakfast: no proper coffee machine, only self-service coffee/tea from a do-it-all-by-yourself Melitta machine. completely messy/destroyed ham/cheese buffet breakfast service: quite unmotivated people reception: friendly guys, thanks a lot! location: quiet, but avoid the “quiet inside yard” (probably louder than rooms facing the street) We did not like the wine theme of the hotel. Not contemporary at all.

Service was great. My luggage was lost by the airline and did not deliver to hotel for a couple of days after we checked out. They were extra nice to contact me when it arrived and held it for me until I could get it. The breakfast was excellent.

Way more than just a hotel in Vienna! This place has it all: hospitality, comfort, and a staff second to none. From making lunch/dinner arrangements, to assisting with transportation, to chatting about excursions to a personal city guide and last but not least friendly company at the bar . . . Hotel Rathaus Wein & Design, our trip to Vienna was flawless and amazing because of YOU!

Wow! I really love the fine art to be! When I entry the room I saw this fantastic designer room with all of those moderne furniture! This is a great place you have to be!

Terrific value for the money. Well managed well designed small hotel in a quiet area not overrun by tourists and near the chic happenings in town. Lovely staff who recommended a good mix of local causal restaurants and "dining experience" evenings. The introduction to Austrian wines was sophisticated but without pretension.
