I loved everything about this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. I also appreciated how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere was; it truly felt like a home away from home. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It exceeded all my expectations, and I’ll definitely be coming back. A perfect experience from start to finish!

This should be classified as a 5 star experience! The hotel is lovely, very new and clean. It’s also Austrian wine themed! The owner, Jorge, is amazing and so accommodating. He was extremely knowledgeable and even made us a reservation at his favorite Austrian restaurant nearby (so good!). Jorge also offered a wine tasting as well. The customer service was incredible and I highly recommend staying here! The location is also great, walkable to inner stadt sights. Thank you Jorge!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The location was relatively good, but a little far out from the ring road (15-20 minute walk to major attractions). The walk back to the hotel though felt very safe and the hotel was in a nice area. ||The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Relatively large size room with air conditioning. Shower had a rain shower head with good water pressure. ||We did not opt for breakfast, but this was offered at the hotel. ||Tip: skip your room cleaning for a free glass of wine/person!

THe hotel has a number of really strong plus points ||1) Building is in a really great area, close to the slightly more lively areas although within a nice quiet street. ||2) the Building is a lovely traditional imperial one built around a narrow light well and rooms are spacious and well thought out. The Lift cage and central staircase are truly lovely. ||3) Service is very strong and human centered. ||||BUT ||As with most Viennese buildings - sound insulation is poor .. so the room can be noisy if you have heavy footed people on the floor above, ||I would stay here again .||

We stayed for four nights in the loft suite with terrace (501) and couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Vienna stay. The suite was enormous, with soaring ceilings, an abundance of natural light, and a huge bathroom. The highlight was the large terrace with beautiful views—sadly, rain limited our time there, but it’s a fantastic feature for good weather.|The location was ideal, just a five-minute walk to both Rathaus and Volkstheater U-Bahn stations, making it easy to explore the city. Photos on the website were true to life, and everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained.|Breakfast was superb, offering a generous variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The only minor drawback was carrying our luggage up a short flight of stairs to reception before accessing the lift, but this was a small inconvenience in an otherwise exceptional stay.|Spacious, stylish, and perfectly located, this apartment-hotel is an outstanding choice for anyone visiting Vienna. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

Everything about Hotel Rathaus Wien & Design was excellent. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, great mattress and pillows, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to explore Vienna. For sure we will stay again in a couple of months.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. In a good location, close to city centre without being too busy. Room size is decent, very sound proof and light proof - had great sleep at night. Very clean overall. The design of bathroom means that you have to go to another side to wash your hands after loo, not ideal but also not the end of the world. In general, would definitely recommend!

The hotel remains my favourite hotel in Vienna, it is very central, quiet, very clean spacious rooms. Very friendly staff which takes care of all your wishes. Breakfast is very good, the wine bar has a great selection of Austrian wines. There is an all day service station where you can get free coffee and tea. If you ask you can also get a kettle for your own room. |I have tried numerous hotels in Vienna over the years, but Rathaus Wein und Design remains the one I like most to return to.

Two days before we were to arrive, my wife's mother died, and I asked them for a refund. They were nasty, unprofessional, rude and refused to give me ANYTHING back due to her death. Avoid these inhuman and horrible people at ALL costs!!!

Terrific value for the money. Well managed well designed small hotel in a quiet area not overrun by tourists and near the chic happenings in town. Lovely staff who recommended a good mix of local causal restaurants and "dining experience" evenings. The introduction to Austrian wines was sophisticated but without pretension.
