"Set in the town of Malfa on the island of Salina, this hotel was once a family home. Today, it's one of the Aeolians’ coziest boutique hotels, with just 14 rooms and epic views of Stromboli and Panarea — especially if you book the honeymoon suite, which has a private corner balcony." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Just come home from ten days at Hotel Ravesi. What a treat it was! Salina is a gorgeous unspoilt simple island, The humidity keeps the flora and fauna green and opulent, despite the lovely hot weather. You can see the whole island in a day on a scooter if you choose, although there is not a huge amount to see apart from the authentic small townships which are still (thankfully) untouched by commercialism. The hotel is beautiful with superlative service. The (numerous) staff are unfailingly polite, respectful, gracious and helpful. Our room (No.17) was spotless and well maintained, as is the rest of the hotel with some lovely communal areas to eat and relax in. I'm a bit surprised they don't have a restaurant for dinner but there are several very close by. The breakfast selection is wonderful with many cakes, tarts and flans baked by the owner herself. Our room had a fridge and a lovely terrace with views over the sea and the sun most of the day. A small supermarket five minutes up the road meant we could eat and drink on our terrace when we chose to 'self-cater'. The infinity pool is wonderful and there were enough sun beds even though we understand the hotel was full. It's a bit of a mission to get to but the staff could honestly not have been more helpful in helping us to arrange our transport from Catania airport. The photo's on line do not do the hotel justice in my opinion. Thoroughly recommended (and we're fussy!).

Stunning boutique hotel, we stayed here during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The main highlight of the hotel is the amazing infinity pool with views of the volcano and islands. We stayed in a room with a private terrace overlooking the sea with lovely views. The hotel also arranges a range of activities - we did a boat trip, wine tasting and hired a scooter - all of which were very good. Staff were friendly and very attentive.

A truly special place. From customer service (Thank you Nadia and Lucy) to impeccable gardens this hotel feels like a little bit of paradise. It was an absolute joy to spend a few days here. This place is one of the few places that exceeds the Instagram hype. The breakfast’s here are amazing. We will be back. For my privacy stay in the apartments. If you would like to fully experience the hotel and the gardens stay in the main building. This place is a rare “can’t miss” location.

Loved staying at this lovely boutique hotel. The location is a great base for exploring the island. The cocktail bar being open all day next to the fabulous infinity pool is inspired in a place that loves siesta! But the thing that really stands out is the discreet attention paid to guests - one example that really impressed was when I was doing my morning stretches next to the pool, one of the staff serving breakfast rapidly appeared with a yoga mat!

Hotel now ranks among my favourite in the world. Incredible island, location, and people. Areas for improvement (these are all tiny details): some in-room amenities, opening up the beautiful wine terrace for breakfast/lunch, and a little map of the island :)

Stunning hotel in the center of Malfa's main drag. Rooms are tasteful, clean, comfortable, with frig and espresso maker. Updated bathrooms. We had #19 which is spectacular with private patio overlooking the sea with views to Lipari, Panarea, and Stromboli. Wonderful breakfast buffets, good (but pricy) cocktails and wines and Malvasia wine tastings. Restaurant is good. Service throughout the hotel is top notch with a wonderful staff, and onsite owners who are attentive. This is a great place with beautiful grounds and an infinity pool on a stunning island.

We spent 5 nights at Hotel Ravesi and we had a lovely time. The gardens are splendid, the breakfast is delicious, and the views are unforgettable. We also had the opportunity to rent bicycles to go around the island, and spent 4 hours at the wine bar for a splendid sicilian wine tasting. We're already making plans to come back next year. Merci Team Ravesi!
