Hotel Real Camino Lenca

"I recently stayed at Hotel Real Camino Lenca and was extremely disappointed. The bathrooms had black mold on the ceiling and walls, and the plumbing was faulty—the water wouldn't drain in the shower and sink. The room felt unclean and unsanitary, and the mattress was old and uncomfortable. The pictures online were misleading. The only reason we stayed was because we arrived late and had no other choice. We will never stay at this hotel again. For the local area, I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. It's also overpriced for what they have to offer."

My family and I traveled to Gracias, Honduras for a trip to the thermal waters in the area. We were sure we wanted to stay the night to experience the town. Looking through Google we found this place showing pictures taken by the business where the rooms were completely different and included a pool. We made the reservation and headed in that direction. It was late for our check-in and our priority was to get to the thermal waters and stay there as much as possible. Due to that fast reaction of excitement, we failed to inspect our room. When we got to the room for a good night's rest to our surprise everything was so poorly looking. Perhaps at its finest era, the place was well and highly recommended. It was too late to check out and look for another place to stay. The ceiling was moldy. There was warm water but the water would accumulate rather quickly and so dirty as well. The toilet seat was broken and so was the sink. Pieces from the door frame were falling apart. There was only 1 outlet that needed to be shared with the TV. NO WI-FI btw. The curtains were so dusty. It was a total scam because there was no pool either. The pictures posted by the business are not the same to be expected. At check-in, they write your information down from your passport, and they provide a piece of paper saying it's a ticket for a free breakfast. During the night there was very loud music and it was impossible to sleep the uncomfortable beds didn't help either. We were quick to get up early morning hoping to get coffee and a quick bite but even that was awful. The small cafetería was dirty, and gloomy and we saw roaches crawling by the kitchen area. The ladies to cooked the meals didn't even have any sort of uniform and everything looked so unhygienic. There is no parking space. Expect to park in a further space down the street. It's a shame it looks this way because it is located in an area where there are a lot of small businesses for clothes, food, drinks, etc. Such an awful experience 😞

Gracias is a nice town and you can’t do any better than staying here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They start serving breakfast (and coffee!) at 0620. Upstairs is a nice bar and lounge area, and the beer is always cold. ||My room was very clean and simple. A desk would have been nice, but the shower had great water pressure and hot water. All the basics are taken care of, and I will stay here again if the opportunity arises. |

This hotel gave us each a free drink which we enjoyed on the roof top bar and restaurant. The room|was fine and the rate included a nice breakfast. The owner was very helpful. The city of Gracias was a delightful surprise with a really excellent Pizza and Italian restaurant and it is adjacent to a national park|We plan to go back for four or five days next Feb and do some hiking|There are lots if mini vans to Copan which are very crowded but a lot of fun.

Went with my husband and some friends for the weekend!! We loved the warming welcoming from the staff, they were awesome!! we had so much fun!! Comfortable, clean, very nice hotel! Blanca, the manager made us feel like home... :) We are surely coming back soon!

Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful and attentive. Dining on site is excellent. It can be a little noisy at times. There's a big bar on the top floor with great views and karaoke if you want.

Thehotel is very pretty, the staff was amazing and very friendly. My only problem was there weren't sheets on the mattress, just a comforter so it was uncomfortable to sleep but I was only there one night anyways.

We visited Gracias for 3 days. Very cute town with a lovely vibe. The hotel Camino lenca was great. Staff very friendly and cordial. Rooms where clean and the food was pretty good. Great little town for a getaway.
