Hotel Real Plaza

The location of the hotel is very convenient by main road. And it’s a short walk to the historic center. Rooms are very spacious, clean and good views of the surroundings.

Everything about this hotel is very excellent and has a great location within SLP. The only bad thing about this hotel is the plumbing system, it gives off a bad smell during the day and night even as far up as the 6th and 8th floors within the rooms.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Our room was large as was the bathroom. The airconditioner worked well. The wifi was decent. The parking is underground and secure with security present but no elevator from the underground parking. You can easily walk everywhere from here. We paid $1020 for 2 queen size beds on the 10th floor. The elevators are the most quiet I have ever been in! There is a restaurant on the second floor. And a small shopping mall on the main floor.

Don't stay in 1127 or 1129. Everything else is great. Hot water on demand, friendly housekeeping staff, perfect location with access to the Centro and restaurants/shopping. The room is bare though, no microwave, fridge, or coffee maker. Parking is tight, but plenty available.

PRESIDENTIAL suite is huge! Huge king and double queen beds rooms, closets, showers on each of its rooms and walkways. The common areas are very large as well as the furniture in it. Although it doesn't have a kitchen or pantry with dishes to serve food, it does have a medium size refrigerator and a microwave. Staff very friendly and accommodate your needs to a fair extent. I have stayed on rooms that have become a nuance due to plumbing or electrical noise. I just say this for those who travel with hypersensitive kids with enhanced hearing. This could mean the difference between sleeping or not. Other than that, I really have no complaints. I do recommend staying at this hotel. Food is great! Location is good. Staff is awesome!

A nice upscale hotel with nice rooms and plenty of amenities. 2 complaints though: 1. There are new elevators but only one seems to work, at least from what I experienced, my roommate said she saw them both working, but regardless they have a limit of about 7 people, it doesn't move after reaching the limit. This is a major problem, the wait time can be very unpleasant. I ended up using the stairs more often than not. Footnote: 3. The music in the hallways seemed a bit too loud for my liking, but maybe I'm just neat picking. Other than that the hotel is very nice, the rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was very nice. On a final note, on my only and final night I ended up finding an English channel on TV, it was broadcasting the movie "Anaconda 4" which was so bad it ended up being one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. 5/5 for the movie, 4/5 for the hotel.

Good place to stay. They are helpful at the front desk and if you want room service, they are very fast. The water is always hot, but be careful because it is very very hot. The beds are very firm, which could be good or bad depending on your preferences. The bar is pretty nice, especially when they bring in musicians to play.
