Hotel Recoletos

Beautiful hotel with art deco vibes throughout. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I stayed on the top floor in an attic style room. It was very spacious clean and comfortable. The bedding and mattress were very good quality. Breakfast had everything you could want. I did notice the fraying carpet outside the lift but it didn’t bother me at all. I will, I hope be staying here again in the near future.

The hotel is in a great location in the city. Parking was a little complicated due to some events and construction going on in the city but shouldn't normally be an issue. The public areas of the hotel are very classic and beautiful and the breakfast is well worth getting! The issue comes in the rooms, they were very run down, with Carpet peeling up all over the place, electric sockets weren't super accessible so charging of personal devices wasn't ideal and the heat/cool just didn't work at all. I will say I did not take the time to contact the hotel to try and get this resolved as I was only there for 1 night and was exhausted from a week of travel so I am unsure how quickly they could have resolved this issue.

The hotel is in a very good location, across from a beautiful park. I believe this was once a Meliá Hotel, but has declined greatly. The lobby was nice and reception was friendly and courteous. The disappointment came upon arriving at the 4th floor where we had two standard rooms reserved. The hall carpets were disgustingly dirty and ripped. This poor condition continued on into the rooms - dirty, worn carpets, stains on wallpaper, dirt on door, ripped curtains. I complained to reception and was told condition of carpets throughout the hotel were all the same. I asked to be moved to other rooms or even pay for an upgrade but was told the hotel was sold out. Aside from the rooms, the breakfast was good with a decent selection of foods. I feel deceived with the 4 star rating and would not recommend this hotel.

A nice hotel, close to city center. Good breakfast and a very good location. Close to train station also. In this place also you can enjoy a very good breakfast. There is a hotel old fashioned, but in the same time full of new inovations. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Myself and my family stayed en el hotel Recoletos from May 1st to May 4th 2025.|We were made very much welcome by all staff and everything we asked for was not a problem from late out check out ,late drinks at the bar and extra towels .|The hotel was spotless and the rooms were spacious.We visited Valladolid for a family wedding but we will certainly visit again soon.|10/10|Muchas gracias|Paloma De Haro Senise

This is our second time staying here and it was chosen for the location. Five min walk to train station or to Plaza Mayor so great location. Bathrooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Water pressure is bad. Carpets in hallways and rooms are extremely worn and dirty. Wallpaper and walls are way over due for a refresh. Rooms are huge but smart tvs don’t let you mirror your devices. Website says there’s self serve laundry on-site but there is not. Breakfast buffet is good and plentiful for the price. This could be a great hotel but it is in serious need of a renovation. Would love to stay here again but will wait until after it had been renovated.

Two stars because it was one of the worst beds I’ve ever slept on. Plus the shower door leaked water all over the floor and the hair dryer didn’t work. It’s a shame because the room was actually pretty nice. Location was incredible. If the bed had been sleepable, I would give it 4 stars.

Great place to stay! I've travelled through France and this compares very highly. Rooms are large, staff is friendly, location is convenient and walking distance to central park ND downtown shopping and restaurants. The free breakfast is very good. Parking is the standard underground type so no large vehicles would be recommended. The shower is a bit small, but they do have premium rooms if that was something important. Air conditioner works well. The bed is set up as two long twins next to each other. The balcony rooms over look the park and opening the windows while having coffee in the morning is a must do item. The bar is nice and there is a patio outdoors behind the bar to enjoy then on.

This excel- lent four-star hotel has a touch of class that elevates it above other hotels in this catego- ry. Part of a chain but with a boutique-hotel intimacy, it offers large luxurious rooms with a classic look and impeccable service. With a predominantly business clientele, the hotel lowers its rates at weekends.
