Two stars because it was one of the worst beds I’ve ever slept on. Plus the shower door leaked water all over the floor and the hair dryer didn’t work. It’s a shame because the room was actually pretty nice. Location was incredible. If the bed had been sleepable, I would give it 4 stars.

Great place to stay! I've travelled through France and this compares very highly. Rooms are large, staff is friendly, location is convenient and walking distance to central park ND downtown shopping and restaurants. The free breakfast is very good. Parking is the standard underground type so no large vehicles would be recommended. The shower is a bit small, but they do have premium rooms if that was something important. Air conditioner works well. The bed is set up as two long twins next to each other. The balcony rooms over look the park and opening the windows while having coffee in the morning is a must do item. The bar is nice and there is a patio outdoors behind the bar to enjoy then on.

Good old Style Hotel. Service good. Room was very spacious. Breakfasts good. Location nice.

Quite outdated and showing it's age. Do not book a premium room without guaranteed which room you get. They're not all the same size and have dormer windows, making them very dark. Walls are very thin, bedding is minimal and overall not a welcoming space. Maybe the non-premium rooms are better? Very disappointing and unrestful stay.

Really liked the location - So central to everything. The room was very nice and all the public spaces were clean and bright. I chose this hotel because, relative to other locations, it had the best on site parking... It was still a tight fit into the garage and the spaces were small BUT no elevator nor risk of damaging the rental car. I would definitely stay again.

We chose the hotel for a stopover on our way to Portugal. Deluxe Room on top floor was spacious, clean and calm. King Size Bed, large bathroom and coffee maker. Parking (19€ per night) is totally safe. Excellent location next to park, shopping and restaurants. ||We will definitely come back.

A nice hotel. The location is the best. The beds were somewhat basic and felt well used. We didn't have any maid service between the two days we stayed there.

Stayed 3 nights at the Melia Recoletos while on a recent visit to Valladolid for Santa Semana and found the hotel to be pretty good , staff were friendly , it's in a great location , walking distance to everything but the rooms are old fashioned and in need of updating.||||The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Renfe station and everything is nearby. Allocated room on the 4th floor facing the back courtyard so it was very quiet. The room was a good size, bed was a tad soft and small but the bedding was crisp and clean. As mentioned in other reviews, the A/C and heating does not seem to work but the windows open so you have some fresh air, not sure what it would be like in the summer heat.||||Bathroom was as you would expect, large tub/overhead shower and plenty of space. Soap and shampoo dispensers fixed to the wall ( bring back soap bars )||There was a lot of wardrobe space for your clothes and room for your luggage. There is also a small selection of items in the mini bar and kettle to make tea / coffee if you so wish !||||Breakfast was not included in my rate but there are several breakfast spots right next door including Sesentta among others . Do ask and enjoy your welcome glass of sparkling wine which was laid out by reception as well as some sweets , fruit and complimentary water. The bar stays open until 11.30 / midnight so you can have a drink before or after your dinner and enjoy the tranquility of the courtyard . ||||It's a very short walk to Plaza Mayor and all the shops, bars , restaurants and sights. Wifi was easy to connect to and worked very well , the front desk were happy to help with any directions you needed and the tourist office is nearly directly opposite by the fountain and the Campo Grande park. Valladolid was a lovely city and definitely worth a visit if you are considering it.

Yelp
This excel- lent four-star hotel has a touch of class that elevates it above other hotels in this catego- ry. Part of a chain but with a boutique-hotel intimacy, it offers large luxurious rooms with a classic look and impeccable service. With a predominantly business clientele, the hotel lowers its rates at weekends.
