Such an exceptional stay… A super clean facility, super comfy rooms, perfect service… Eduardo and Carlos are doing great job being amazing hosts. Salamanca is a beauty itself. We’re gonna come back soon ….

One of the best hotel experiences. The people there went out of their way to make our one-night stay feel very pampered. The room was beautiful (though next time, we might spring for a better view), excellent toiletries, and friendly staff members. We will come back.

We knew it would be good even before we arrived as they had contacted us to check what would be the best temperature for us for our room. We were right - what a fantastic hotel. We had a wonderful welcome, which was made perfect by the chilled champagne waiting for us in our room. The position is perfect - adjacent to the old town. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional - second to none. The hotel itself is beautiful and furnished with fantastic works of art. The rooms are wonderful, beautiful bedding and toiletries and at the perfect temperature! The breakfast was lovely - nothing was too much trouble. They catered extremely well for gf, even checking what had been my favourite bread in order to ensure that I had it the next day. As mentioned, the champagne was a lovely touch, however, what we really hadn't expected were the gifts that we received for the remaining part of our trip. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The location was excellent, just outside the city walls and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The treats in the room make you feel welcome and appreciated. The shutters make the room very dark and quiet. It was a very comfortable and lovely stay. I recommend it without hesitation.

What an amazing hotel, and the people who work there are truly amazing and completely focused on making your stay memorable. We stayed 2 nights, arriving late but were greeted by Eduardo, who explained everything to us and took us to our room to find a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us! When the hotel was full but we wanted to stay a 3rd night, Ignacio not only called another hotel to make our booking but made sure our luggage was sent there ready for us. With everything online these days, the service at this hotel is tailored, personal, and gracious. There was even a very pretty present left in our room on the last night. The breakfast is freshly made with lots of varieties to cater to all tastes. The hotel is in a beautiful building with stained glass and art displayed inside. I can't wait to return and will plan to stay longer next time. Salamanca and its surroundings are beautiful, and Hotel Rector is the perfect base to discover this area. I haven't stopped talking about Hotel Rector and its people since my return. What a lovely experience! Thank you to everyone who is part of Hotel Rector for making our stay enjoyable and memorable.|

From the moment we arrived, the staff, decor and general vibe of this hotel was incredible! All of the staff were incredible. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Close to everything, we had no issues walking everywhere. Loved the hospitality - in room snack tray, bubbly, and turn down service - just remarkable. Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!!

From the moment that the owner met us while we were parking our car, I knew that this is a special hotel. He took care of our bags, walked us into the beautiful lobby and reception area, and then moved our car into a permanent parking spot. During check in, we were given a nice overview of landmarks and restaurants in the city. The owner took us to our room, it is wonderful. Extra large, comfortable bed and beautiful new bathroom with double sinks, stall shower, and separate tub. The welcome gift of snacks and champagne were a very nice touch as well. I thought customer service of this level was long gone, bit it is alive and well at Hotel Rector.

My self and 2 friends stayed here again on the 8/11/24. The hotel is a credit to the owner. Nothing is to much trouble, it’s warm ,,accommodating, and spotless. Eva generally dealt with us, a lovely girl, professional polite, and very accommodating. We were kindly upgraded, we had truck and trailer, which parking was organised Swifty, behind the hotel. Should you go to Salamanca, you must stay here. Top class, well done all, see you again soon.
