Hotel Regatta SPA

Lovely hotel with professional and friendly personnel, excellent restaurant, very relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. The SPA most beautiful in Finland and one can also swim long-distance swim in 25 meter pool. Lovely surroundings for walking.

***Please be aware*** Most of the rooms have double beds but no double mattresses. Also the double beds are not attached to each other, so those will come apart. Really don't understand why save on this thing. Poor management to blame. It's not the staff's fault.

Claustrofobically small room with even smaller window to the backyard. We had sauna in our room, but as there were no access to balcony/possibility to get fresh air, we only used it once. The spa should have been included with this expensive price. Nice location though.

I stayed for a couple of nights in a superior room. The room had a beautiful view to the Torikatu /Rantakatu. The ceiling was high and the window tall, so the room was flooded with light. The curtains however were excellent, so it was easy to darken the room when needed. The decor was a bit dull, basic wooden floors and white walls. Room cleaning was better than in a average hotel. I could hear other guests walking in the room above mine, and the ventilation turned onregularly with a loud noise, but otherwise it was really quiet. The breakfast buffet was ordinary, perhaps the bread was a bit better than average. The hotel has a few bikes to lend.

Just visited with family and here are the negative and positive:||+ Location great|+ Spa beautiful but really small, teracce was under construction.|Allso 200m walk to the mainhotel and rooms.||- Nearby beach was not swimmable due poisoneous alga.|- Our room was superior kitchenette and room was poor: ||extrabed was very small for 1 adult and a teenager.|Bathroom dirty.|Overall dated.||- Breakfast very basic|- No roomservice. Reception closed at 22:00.

Our stay was excellent! First and foremost; the customer service here is very understanding and helpful. We asked to change for a room with a better view and the receptionist directly showed us some of the other rooms that were free to change to. The spa building is right next to the hotel and has all the services one might look for. The hotel breakfast (included in price!) has a broad range of choises from traditional breakfast dishes. Definitely would recommend for a cozy weekend trip!

Nice, clean hotel with modernised rooms. Terrace bar closed well before official closing time. Also, no room service as far as I can tell and no room fridge / bar. Enjoyed a nice lobster dinner nearby so should make it through the night. The hotel has an original part and some recent additions closer to the shore. The spa is detached from the original hotel (across the street) so I assume one must walk over to enjoy it. Generally Finnish hotels suck so this is ok.

Our room was absolutely too small for two persons. It was like a small single room. Our friends stayed at the next room and they had the same experience. The window curtains were not blackout as it should be in a hotel. The room was definitely not worth the price (200 €). The doors of the bathroom and closet collided with each other and this happened in the passageway of the room. Never again.
