Hotel Regency Florence (Florence, Tuscany) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The art of hospitality is a timeless one, and the classics are every bit as satisfying as the hot new thing — maybe even more satisfying, depending on your taste. Florence is a city with great respect for tradition, and a stay in a hotel like the Hotel Regency might be just what you need to turn a visit to the Tuscan capital into a trip back in time." - Tablet Hotels

Simply put, this is a fantastic hotel in a great location. It is on the quiet end of a large-ish park yet you are the middle of the bustle of Florence within a ten minute walk. It is close to multiple squares and the museum where the David sculpture is displayed. We made a couple of trips to the countryside and we were on the ring road out of town in no time.|The room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The linens were soft. Breakfast was included in our stay, which was a nice touch. The hotel also had some nice seating areas where you could either dine or just enjoy a drink. The staff was courteous and fun!

We loved everything about our 5 night stay here. We booked months in advance and the hotel staff particularly Alice Mancini reached out to ensure that they would do anything to make our stay magical. They arranged for a lovely bouquet of flowers for my wife to celebrate our anniversary. They recommended restaurants for us to celebrate. There were cookies and a lovely note welcoming us to their property. Dino at the breakfast service was so kind and professional. We appreciated how nice Milo at the front desk treated us. Gemma was delightful and could not have been more lovely. We felt very well taken care of and respected as their guests.

We stayed at Hotel Regency for our honeymoon and overall had a nice experience, though it didn’t start out perfectly. The hotel itself is charming and elegant, and the staff were consistently kind and accommodating throughout our stay. However, the original room we were placed in on our first night was underwhelming, and unfortunately, the AC wasn’t working properly. It was uncomfortable enough that we had to request a fan just to get through the night... Thankfully, because we had booked through American Express, we were able to receive a room upgrade, and the new room was exactly what we had imagined for our honeymoon (beautiful, spacious, and most importantly, cool and comfortable). While the initial room experience was not what we expected, the warm hospitality of the staff and the upgraded room helped make the rest of our stay memorable & enjoyable!

It was a nice hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. Have to warn there are stairs even after the elevator. Only a couple here and there. Terrific breakfast with seats inside and on the terrace. Selection was great and very nice staff bringing coffee. Clean hotel, nice size rooms ||Located in a residential area away from the tourist areas, which we liked.

This is the second hotel on our tour, this time in Florence, or Firenze. It was within walking distance of several of the places we came to see. It is very clean, friendly staff, extremely comfortable beds, classy. Leave your heavy metal key and fob at the desk because it does set off metal detectors.

Hotel Regency in Florence is a true gem — a boutique hotel where elegance meets warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine kindness and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed, offering a peaceful retreat after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with fresh pastries and fruit, eggs, and rich Italian coffee served in a charming dining room or the serene courtyard. The courtyard itself is a standout feature — lush, quiet, and perfect for relaxing with a book or a glass of wine. Hotel Regency is located just outside the hustle of the city center. We loved coming back to this tranquil oasis each evening. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a refined and welcoming stay in Florence.

We stayed at the hotel at the end of April and liked the authentic charm of this establishment. ||The concierge and his team made the experience unforgettable: they managed to secure museum tickets for me and even arranged for a rental car to be delivered directly to the hotel. ||The hotel's amenities combine quality with refinement, featuring a retro touch: mouldings, elegant furnishings, and the use of traditional keys rather than access cards. There is also an private garden/courtyard which is great for relaxing at the end of the day. ||I highly recommend it to anyone seeking charm, tranquility, and service.

The room was super clean and the service was amazing. If I ever go back to Florence, I’m 100% staying at the Regency again! If you walk toward the river, you’ll find all the fun tourist spots, and if you go the other way, there are lots of cool local shops. There’s also a big park right in front of the hotel where kids play even at night felt totally safe. Loved everything about it!
