We stayed here for two nights because it is advertised as a small luxury hotel with good reviews, but the reality was disappointing. As Hilton Diamond members, we expected at least a comfortable room, but instead we were placed in a small attic room that was very hot, outdated, and poorly maintained. The mirror was covered in rust stains, one chair was completely broken, and the bathroom shower was defective with severe flooding that was never fixed during our stay. The air conditioning was weak and made the room uncomfortable, especially in the summer heat.
Service was mixed—the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, but other interactions were frustrating. The staff member who came to check the broken chair was dismissive and unhelpful, and when we asked for a bottle opener, we were told we could only use a staff member’s personal opener at the door, which felt unprofessional for a hotel that calls itself “luxury.” In addition, the photos on the official website did not match the actual room we received, which was a big disappointment.
Overall, while the reception staff were kind, the poor condition of the facilities and the lack of professionalism from some employees make it hard to recommend this hotel. For a property claiming four stars and a luxury experience, it fell far short of expectations.I would suggest looking for a newer, better-maintained hotel, especially if visiting during the summer.
