HOTEL REGINA BARCELONA

We stayed at this hotel in Barcelona and overall had a good experience. The location is great—very central and convenient for getting around the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which we really appreciated.||However, the front desk staff didn’t leave the best impression. They didn’t seem welcoming or attentive, and were more focused on chatting with each other than helping guests. Also, it was surprising that there were no bellmen to assist with luggage—it felt a bit odd for a hotel of this level.||In short, it’s a nice hotel in a great spot, but the service definitely needs improvement. With better hospitality, this place could be much more enjoyable.

Me and my family stayed in a total of 5 nights in Regina. Very nice and cozy. The hotel crews are all very hospitable and welcoming. Not to mention the water refill system kept us hydrated in the super hot weather in the summer of Barcelona! The interior design is also nice. More specifically, it’s timeless and it feels like home. My parents said they slept very well during our staying. The location is also very nice. You can literally walk to the center of Barcelona (you can also take the subway if you want😜). Overall, it’s just a great place to stay. The price is definitely worth it.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. On the day of arrival, we left the room with a “Do Not Disturb” sign, yet staff still entered and left a note with a welcome cookie. When I asked the front desk about their policy, they admitted this should not happen and promised to tell staff not to enter again. However, given Barcelona’s safety issues and reviews about thefts at this property, we weren’t sure if this was an oversight, or potentially an inside job involving staff or management. We emailed the hotel asking for written confirmation that no further unauthorized entries would occur, and the management was quick and polite in their reply. While we appreciated their responsiveness, the whole experience left us feeling paranoid and unable to fully relax during our stay.

Tamara was great with helping to make our reservation and answering any questions we had prior to our arrival which was greatly appreciated. The room was large and our daughter had her own bed in a separate part of the room where we didn't feel cramped at all. The location was wonderful with many things to see and do within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

Highly recommend this hotel, it was a wonderful stay for a week in Barcelona with my girlfriend. Great location for getting anywhere you'd want to go in the city, Hotel reception is very friendly, Friendly door security and very clean and comfortable rooms/beds. The room AC is cool which is a really nice break from the August weather Gina's is a great place for a good breakfast as well Highly recommended, everything about it was perfect

My family of 4 stayed at the Hotel Regina this July-August for 4 nights. The hotel is perfectly placed, close to subways and a hop on/off bus stop. Taxis are frequent and there are many restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was delicious with eggs prepared as you would like. A special thank you to Gabriel, who made us feel comfortable, was extremely kind and professional. Overall, Hotel Regina is a wonderful place to stay in Barcelona and I highly recommend it.

Amazingly central location. Some trash on the street smells a bit on the walk to the hotel, but they can’t control that. A bit noisy in the room with the doors closing that transmit quite a bit of noise in the morning. Other than that, it’s a nice clean room. Friendly and welcoming staff.

After checking into the hotel we proceeded to our room. We obviously booked the wrong room for our liking. We requested a different room snd Alba was so kind and extremely helpful in getting us into another room. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy. We enjoyed the room, the delicious breakfasts, and tapas in the cute restaurant. We cannot say enough things about this hotel and especially Alba. She is a true professional.
