This is a fantastic Hotel! The staff and management went above and beyond to see we had anything and everything we needed. They were professional, kind and very knowledgeable. You could not get a much better location, right in the middle of everything. The rooms were beautiful, clean and larger than expected. I travel a lot and was very impressed with the hotel and would recommend it to all.

I recently had the opportunity to spend a weekend in Paris and chose to stay at the Hôtel Regina Louvre. Prior to my stay, I carefully reviewed the hotel’s history and guest experiences, and even watched an interview with the owner, whose family also manages another renowned property in Paris. The building is undeniably a historical monument located in the very heart of the city, and its architectural beauty and prime location are truly remarkable. The reception staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism, and the overall service at the front desk met five-star expectations. However, I feel it is important to share certain aspects of my stay that did not align with the standard one would anticipate from a hotel of this category. Unfortunately, the hotel is in urgent need of renovation. The carpets throughout the property, including in the guest rooms, are heavily worn and emit a strong musty and stale odor, which significantly affected my comfort. In my room, I found it unpleasant to walk on the carpet, and the general atmosphere felt unclean and outdated. Housekeeping services were insufficient. While towels were replaced and the bed was made, the room was not thoroughly cleaned. Dust was present on multiple surfaces, and the bathtub showed visible signs of mold. Additionally, the room lacked a proper coffee machine, which is a basic amenity expected in a five-star accommodation. While I fully appreciate the historical value of the building, there is a clear distinction between preserving heritage and neglecting necessary maintenance. The current condition of the interiors does not reflect the quality and comfort associated with luxury hospitality. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for future improvements. With thoughtful renovation and attention to detail, the Hôtel Regina Louvre has the potential to truly live up to its five-star status.

What an unbelievably disappointing experience, don't bother go somewhere else. ||When we arrived we were told our room was not available and that since it was during the French Open we were lucky to have a room at all. Those were his exact words. When I pulled out my reservation that I had made 6+ months ago he said the room he was giving me was better. I had booked the family suite because I wanted to be on the top floor and my small children were so excited about the bunk beds. We were given two regular connecting rooms with double beds on a second floor with an interior view. When we still said this was unacceptable and not what we wanted he finally said that the suite we booked had plumbing issues. So what could we do but say ok. We asked every day if the plumbing was fixed. Finally on the third day when the original extremely rude guy wasn't there an actually nice lady was very confused. What we suspected the entire time was it was completely a lie!!! They had double booked the family suite we were supposed to have that I had booked 7 months in advance!!! ||I chose this hotel because I wanted to be on the top floor and the location. I wish when we were checking in I had just said forget it and gone somewhere else. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the streets surrounding it were dirty and covered in graffiti. Besides the one lady who was finely nice most of the staff were rude. This is the only negative review I have ever left anywhere but I wish I had been warned.

This is our 4th stay at Hotel Regina - we keep coming back because the service is excellent, you can't beat the location and the rooms are nice (some with excellent views). We really put the Concierge staff to work this stay, pre-purchasing all of our tickets to museums and events and making reservations for all of our dinners. They did a tremendous job. We couldn't have been more pleased.

This hotel is a gem in Paris. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great stay. The location, rooms and service level were excellent. Especially Beleigh Boussa gave attention to detail and made us feel very welcome. We will come back for sure.

Google
The hotel has a great location, nice classic Parisian style and we were treated wonderfully by the guest reception and concierge. We booked a renovated room with a view of the Eiffel Towel. Housekeeping was disappointing. They blew through our DND one afternoon, and every day they put a request for DND under the door even though there was no DND on the door after 11 am, so we had to ask for service every day. Breakfast was inconsistent. Every morning they would let the buffet run out of items. They also would not announce when the buffet would close, but just closed the doors to the buffet room. On Sunday morning a young lady of the service personnel who looked like she was in charge was constantly on her cell phone versus attending guests. The in room coffee service was instant coffee, versus a real coffee maker which is expected at the price point of this hotel..

Wonderful, beautiful hotel. Staff is exceptional. You must order in room breakfast, stunning. We were able to see everything we wanted and it was a wonderful experience.

This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are clean, polished and tasteful. The staff-from cleaners to waitstaff to the concierge-are very kind, friendly, and do everything to make you feel welcome. The bar is perfect for a nightcap after a day of exploring. Best of all-the location absolutely cannot be beat. You’re in the middle of Paris with everything at your fingertips. This hotel sets the standard for good hotels in my view! Can’t wait to come back!

Yelp
What an absolutely stunning hotel! I popped in here for a break from exploring the sights and I was delighted that I did. We popped into the English Bar in the lobby to enjoy a glass of wine. I had a great Sancerre with my sister and my brother got a cocktail that he enjoyed. The decor is really the show stopper here, as it is extremely regal and luxurious. While we didn't eat here, the food I saw other guests enjoy looked great. The bar gives lounge vibes with red velvet couches and lounge chairs. I will also say that the bathroom is one of the coolest hotel bathrooms I have ever seen. I can only imagine the rooms here, seems like top tier luxury steps away from the Louvre.

Yelp
What had happen was there was a huge event this side of town. All the trains were full, couldn't flag a taxi and getting an Uber was impossible. We were to far away from our lodging to walk. France lost the World Cup and the players were returning to the city. People came out in large numbers to line the streets to celebrate them. If you didn't know people are very passionate about this sport. This is when I made the executive decision to have dinner at the Regina Hotel. I've dined here before and had an exceptional brunch before heading over to the Louvre. I recall the service being one of the many high lights of that meal. This meal was very good but sadly the service was not as great as it had been in the past. Maybe the waiter was having a bad night. He seemed to forget items that were requested and had to be prompted more then once. Other then that the food was good. The shrimp was perfectly prepared the salad was fresh and nicely dressed. The atmosphere was perfect and it allowed us to put our feet up and relax after a long day. The concierge was able to call us a taxi once the large groups dissipated.

Yelp
Pros: closet with lots of storage, bathroom big with room for all your things, no bottega toiletries- nuxe which is ok, good location 15 minutes of major attractions so not much use of metro, good water pressure and draining system (shower doesn't clogged), big fast elevators, housekeeping fast and responsive. US plug for appliances inside bathroom and next to bed Cons: unstable internet, limited channels, can not connect your device to Netflix, do not offer any movie channels, not smart tv (we like to watch tv after a long day of sightseeing so no option), no way to hook your phone to tv. Old fashion tv, beds and pillows confortables but bed frame squeaks a lot and you can't move or it will wake you up, paper thing walls you hear everyone's business, concierge is not knowledgeable of activities around or friendly about booking taxis. We asked of Xmas market started Saturday November 16 in Tuileries (park right in front) and the said no. Google search confirm November 16. Keep in mind hotel was remodel 10 plus years ago right now it doesn't look like it. Breakfast was ok but not much of variety and not worth the price. There was a filming in the hotel and lobby was not available so elevator area was crowded. Housekeeping had to be reminded about original requests everyday. No iron in rooms need to be requested every time you need it and can't stay with it. This hotel is expensive for what it has to offer. It's not luxurious. We have stayed at Hilton Opera and it's much better and location not bad. I actually will give Hilton Opera 5 stars and this hotel 3 or 4. Prices were better in the Hilton but we decided to give this hotel a try. Brighton Hotel (3 stars) few doors seems decent and Westin Vendome (5 stars) around the corner a much better choice. This is our 9th time in Paris so we know our way around here. We dont go by stars system but what the hotel has to offer. Prices don't justify the overall stay.

Yelp
We used to regularly stay at the Regina, 2-3 times year 8-10 years ago. We were pleased to re-visit and much is the same, but better. The location for us is ideal, this trip we brought our kids and being in the heart of the city makes getting around easy. It's a classic so lacks some of the amenities of more modern hotels but the charm from the lobby to the rooms is very nice. What is better? The service. When we used to come service was good this time it was great. We will continue to view this hotel as our go to place in the City of Lights. (Some rooms face the interior courtyard so their view is not good).

Yelp
My wife and I had a great stay here. We stayed here in 2016 and have always wanted to come back for another stay. The location was excellent, close to the Louvre, several restaurants in the area other sights. We liked the security the hotel provided and had gates with security personnel at nighttime. The breakfast was impressive, and loved how they left the whole carafe of coffee right on the table for us. This was a luxury stay for sure, and I should have left this review a while ago, but it should speak volumes that here 7 years later we still think about this hotel and the time we spent here.

Yelp
Fantastic location and views if you have have the right room in the hotel. Sweeping views over Jardin des Tuileries and Eiffel Tower. Easy to get to and a stones throws from the louvre and other attractions in paris. Rooms are nice but missing the fine touches you would expect in a luxury hotel. It's a beautiful building and the hotel is also quite elegant when you enter. Value for money is lacking here but a nice place for a short stay.

Yelp
I'm convinced our room was where Jason Bourne's other personage John Michael Kane stayed. Well, ours, or the corner one next door. Either way, we were tickled to find our Paris dream hotel was featured in the movie--and also at Xmas, like our visit. (The Xmas tree was even in the same spot.) We LOVED having this as our Paris home away from home. Across the street from the Louvre--closest to the Decorative Arts part was most convenient, since the Christian Dior exhibit stretched around the block every day. The sold out exhibition could've ruined our vacation, but the Regina had tickets and access! #winning This leads me to the phenomenal concierge staff--always friendly, helpful and getting us anything we needed. Jules Verne (Eiffel Tower restaurant) was sold out and somehow they managed to get us in--over the Xmas holiday. They had other great recommendations as well. We have never used the concierge staff so much on a trip, but these guys were just top notch. The room (we upgraded to ensure a view of EiffelTower) was spacious and romantic, with French balcony windows that opened to the view of the Ferris wheel and ET. We had a walk-in closet was an extra touch that made us feel extra at home during our stay. Loved the heated towel rack and shower for two. Bed was quite comfy, and again, extra points for the ET view from bed. House cleaning staff was wonderful. Downstairs bar was cozy. Breakfast was delightful--every day offered small crepes, tons of breads and baked goods, fruit and my favorite little treat: lavender marshmallows. Swoon. I've missed it since we left and look forward to going again.

Yelp
Go to place in Paris. Across from Louvre. Quiet, cool jazzy music. (Americans will know many of the selections set to a silky jazz beat and a beautiful breathy French voice. Gorgeous place. Beautiful in every area, and extremely comfortable after walking around Paris. Toilets are downstairs and are beautiful and always clean. We went for snacks, dessert, tea and a small bit of caviar service with Champagne at The Bar American. Every experience was enchanting. The caviar was served with amazing toast and accompaniments. While a little bit of an extravagance, they have price points for everyone and it is all superb. The entire staff is as professional as The Ritz, just as friendly and polished, but less pretentious and a bit more down to earth and chatty. Their service is simply perfect. This is a great, Great place.

Viola S.

Yelp
Placed in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the City. Close to the Jardin des Tuileries, Louvre and Ritz Hotel. Beautiful building with beautiful decor. Very French!

Yelp
What a great restaurant! The meal was excellent and then service was just outstanding. Everything was perfect from the bass to the steak to dessert. Want a fine dining night - you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Hotel is beautiful & well located but staff / service is very average. And you can hear the subway from some of the rooms.

Yelp
This place has the most amazing rooms and views. From our room we had a clear view of jardin de tuileries, Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.

Yelp
I remember getting chills while watching The Bourne Identity. Matt Damon and his kidnapped/girlfriend/driver for hire are in Parisand into view comes the golden statue of Jeanne d'Arcand the facade of the Hotel Regina, a familiar facean old frienda smile of recognition crept accross my face. Even though most of the film was actually filmed using Prague as a stand-in for Paris---I know that the interior lobby shots as well as the exterior shots were actually filmed at the Hotel Regina in Paris. There is no duplicating the grand wooden revolving-door entry..the enchanting soaring lobby replete with beautiful antiques..the historic stone building façadewelcome to the Hotel Regina. Five stars for a stunning hotel. Guest rooms vary in size, but all are grand in decor--there are also several very large suites available for those who choose to splurge. Marble & tile bathrooms are quite large..we had a lovely huge bathtub as well. The Roger & Gallet lemon verbena bath products are a pleasure for the senses. The building itself is exquisite: the public areas, the wonderful soaring ceilings, tapestries, paintings, wood paneling and mouldings, the marble floorssuperb. The inviting English Bar & Club Lounge Restaurant offers meals and drinks, including a hearty breakfast buffet to fortify you for your daily excursions about Paris. The hotel staff is quite helpful and friendly. The Concierge arranged several things for us including dinner, taxis, shows, clubs, etc. Indispensible. The location cannot be beaten. Accross from the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens..adjacent to the shopping arcades of the rue du Rivoli..around the corner from the place Vendome and the rue Saint-Honoré. A splendid place for a stay in Paris. '(¿)

Yelp
I cannot say enough about how fantastic this hotel is. The room was top notch. The view was awesome the staff was incredibly helpful and polite. And let's not forget about the location. So convenient to so many locations that you will visit. The concierge team went out of their way to make our first trip to Europe one we will never forget. 10 out of 5 stars.

Yelp
Excellent hotel! As soon as you walk through the old revolving door, you know this place has class. The decor in this hotel beautiful and the entire hotel is keep immaculately clean. The staff here is incredibly friendly. Location location location! It directly across the stress from the Louvre in the heart of Paris. The views from the room are some of the best in the city!

Yelp
The hotel is near louvre museum. The hotel just was under renovation. And the reception gave me a new remodeled room. Small... But lovely french interiors.

Kevin L.

Yelp
Always try to stay here. This time I had a travel agent snafu. Arrived and through the good graces of GABRIELLE CARRE was able to secure a reservation. Our room overlooks the Joan of Arc statue with the Tuileries gardens and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Iconic. In fact, I keep checking for Jason Bourne in the lobby but no luck yet. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating but Gabrielle raises an already high bar. If you can stay here - do.

Yelp
This was my favorite part of Paris I was visiting The Louvre and doing chocolate shopping as I passed this hotel I was blown away! I walked into this perfect Parisian paradise. Looked like it was from another century or a movie I made a dinner reservation for that night Front desk blew me away with thier smiles The entire staff was so friendly I wanted to check out of my hotel and check into this one Unfortunately I couldn't, I became so Ill I couldn't move for days This hotel is absolutely decadent I'll be back one day!

Yelp
This is a great location in the 1 and right near Rue Saint Honore. It's super clean and I like that it has an antique vibe at times. The room I received for 400 Euro a night wasn't as special as most of the photos with the drapes and bed canopy. I supposed those are more expensive but this is quite a bit, especially when you convert the dollar. The wine bar is lovely and super French. The restaurant is insanely expensive when makes your stay much higher when it's factored in each day. Something to consider if you are running downstairs to grab food.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, suites has the most amazing view in Paris, one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. All the staff are nice and helpful. Conveniently located to all city attractions.

Yelp
Felt right at home at the Hotel Regina during my first visit to Paris. Beautifully ornate hotel, centrally located near the Louvre, with friendly and accommodating staff. Surrounded by many shops and restaurants. Just a short walk or taxi ride from all major landmarks and attractions.

Yelp
What a dream hotel! This was our trip to Paris, and we didn't know what to expect. Americans have a bad stereotype about the French and the French have a bad stereotype about Americans. Whatever the stereotypes are...for me, they seemed non existent at this fabulous hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, and spoke many languages. I heard them catering not only to Americans/Canadians/English with English, but different languages as well. The concierge was helpful with visiting the Louvre for the best price, Versailles for the best transport (the subway is the best way, btw), and general area information...cafes, restaurants, bars. My only complaint is that the air conditioning hadn't been turned on yet for the season and dear God was it hot in the room at night and while getting ready or packing up. Excluding that little hiccup, it was a plush, beautifully decorated, very comfy room: it was very large, had a big safe (big enough for a laptop), & large closets! So, the staff was wonderful and professional...and the building facade and interior decor were just beautiful...looked like an idyllic typically insanely gorgeous French hotel. Chandeliers, Louis XIV chairs, settees...gorgeousl. The city itself, the atmosphere, and our hotel made my us fall in the love with the city so much that we've decided to start looking for a place to buy there. It is a MAGICAL city, and the staff at Hotel Regina made it even easier and more enjoyable!

Yelp
This is a beautiful boutique hotel, conveniently located in Paris. We arrived very early, at 5am and were greeted by the desk staff. Although our rooms would not be available until 3, they stored our luggage and offered assistance to make us comfortable. The location is excellent and easy to get to all the major sites in Paris. There is also the metro (subway) close by and easy to use. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our room terrace. The rooms were spacious, clean and with excellent amenities. The bathrobe was plush and soft, as well as the slippers. The staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay and made excellent recommendations to enhance our visit. The bar area was like sitting in a living room. Highly recommend this hotel and would go back next time I'm in Paris. Great cafe across the street that we would have coffee and croissant every morning before starting our adventures. Lots of other restaurant and cafes located close by and within easy walking distance. The Louvre museum is across the street, Jarden de Tuileries and Musee d'Orsey. Unbelievable stay!!!!

Yelp
Our second time to Paris. First trip taking our 8 year old. We had narrowed our choice down to 3 hotels. There were some "nicer" more expensive choices we considered. Some of those we visited while in Paris and had Dinner or had a drink in the afternoon. They seemed very good also. But, from the moment we checked in to the moment the doorman helped us into our taxi they arranged the Hotel Regina was absolutely top of the shelf Perfection. On every measurable they were a perfect 10. We got so comfortable, we opted to stay in the bar with our child for drinks and food twice vs. leaving the hotel. We became friendly with many people who worked their. The Work out Spa is ok. Nothing great. the bar is special and for the history, it never got to crowded, although we did go to bed usually around 10. The location is great and the cab rides were about $7-$10 Euro's to the Eiffel Tower. There's plenty of good spots to eat near by. The Breakfast Buffett is F*cking awesome!! I crave that place. It's so peaceful, and the fruit and bread with cheese, was my favorite part of the day. The staff is so kind, so gracious, and so helpful. They did such a great job of helping us and everyone else. The hotel is elegant. Beautiful from the outside, we were in room 117 which overlooked the square and had a view of the eiffel tower. The room was huge. I mean huge. It was beautiful, clean and so comfortable. We had the best time in Paris, and much of it had to do with everyone at that hotel, helping us, or just being kind. Always greeting us, with a smile. Our son, loved the place. Loved the French Fries, loved having milk at the bar with us, loved the donuts, and HOT CHOCOLATE they made him every morning at breakfast. We visited Le Royal Monceau to eat at Matsuhisa(which was awesome) and as much as that hotel fit my wife and I, I must say the Hotel Regina Louvre left a special place in our hearts and we'll always stay there when we go back to Paris. Our experience was so perfect, I couldn't dare risk not staying at such a beautiful yet comfy hotel. We had one bed, and it was larger than our bed at home. I'm trying to think of a negative, and the only thing I could write would be it tends to get crowded near the louvre.(go figure). Our son is very outgoing and one benefit if you have younger kids is there's a playground at the park near by. This was a plus, given he's very active. His favorite part was him and me walking to the park for him to play before our dinners. If you're considering booking this hotel, please give them a chance. It was the best thing we did. There is a starbucks near by and a couple great bakeries and cafe's too. Love this place and can't wait to go back to say hi to our friends at the hotel Regina Louvre.

Yelp
I had initially planned to stay in a small boutique hotel across the river, but ended up following my travel agent's recommendation. Good decision. The location is outstanding, the room was comfortable and, at least by Paris standards, roomy. I can't say enough about the concierge staff, who secured hard to get dinner reservations, and their recommendations were unfailingly good. The downstairs bar is small and comfortable.

Kristina K.

Yelp
We had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Regina Paris in October of 2015. The room was lovely, spacious and had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is elegant and the staff welcoming and hospitable. The location was perfect. Thank you for a great experience Hotel Regina!

Yelp
Very nice hotel. Newly renovated and modern. Great location. Rooms are a bit small but who hangs in the room in Paris.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of spending 3 days at the Regina while on business in Paris. I have to say I thought the hotel was magnificent. Stylish and clean room, a fantastic bar and hospitable staff make it a must stay while in Paris.

Yelp
I love this hotel. Perfect location- easy walking distance to the louvre, musee dorsay, notre dams etc. gorgeous rooms with classic lobby. Excellent service. So very glad I chose this hotel over the nearby Westin- could not have asked for a better hotel in Paris.

Yelp
For our honeymoon at the end of April and first time in Paris, we stayed at this hotel for three days. It had everything we needed, including a great location in walking distance and metro to all the attractions, courteous staff who checked in on you frequently, were extremely helpful, and spoke English, beautiful rooms with a great view of the Eiffel Tower, free wi-fi, and an awesome breakfast that comes with the room. I recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Paris and needing a nice and pleasant place to stay.

Sue D.

Yelp
The hotel was beautiful. The staff was very attentive. The hotel is within walking distance of so many attractions. We thought our stay there would be the best choice we could have made.....sadly it was not. When we checked in we were told we had been upgraded, great! Our room ( #33) was located above the kitchen/ dining area and the noise from the daily prep started bright and early every morning at 6am. After spending the entire day walking and enjoying this amazing historic city we would come back to the hotel ready to drop into bed and drift off to sleep. That however was not an option. The kitchen staff noise would continue on until after 11. So if you are one that likes to sleep in past 6 am and turn in early, this room is NOT for you! So when checking in ( and getting an upgrade) be sure to check that you are not checking into room 33. I left wondering if that was the upgrade, then where on earth were we originally going to be sleeping....

Stas M.

Yelp
This has been my wife and my favorite hotel in Paris for years. In October, we stayed in an recently refourbished room that was beautiful. There is a great restaurant and bar in the hotel. The staff is first class and the Concierge spent time booking tickets and restaurants. The classical decor and elegance takes you back to a different time.
