Hotel Reina Cristina

The map directions for the driving route are not accurate and only take you to a walking entrance whereby you would have to walk up stairs to get into the hotel. So we finally called the front desk and they gave us a **different address** to navigate to by driving...it was very confusing! Check in was smooth and she was kind and spoke great English. The room was small. No hair dryer in the room, nor any USB plugs. There was a heated towel dryer and a rain-style shower head. The shower's water pressure and hot water were about the best we've had in Spain. The bed and sheets were fine but the pillows were very uncomfortable, unfortunately. The toilet paper was terrible! Ouch! The towels were splendid. Breakfast was included and was a magnificent spread of everything you'd ever want, including gluten free options. Even with all lights turned on, the room was pretty dark.

Hotel Reina Cristina exceeded our expectations! The staff all spoke English and they couldn't have been more helpful! Our room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, pillows were soft and towels were soft and fluffy. The breakfast was excellent quality and quantity. It is perfectly located in the functional centre of Teruel, being within easy walking distance of all attractions. The car park was a short walk away. There are 2 large squares nearby where there is a huge range of food and beautiful shops - especially the Plaza del Torico where to bull fountain stands. It's a socially energetic, happy, place where people meet for food and coffee. The Hotel restaurant is a fabulous place for dinner with an excellent, well priced menu and good quality Spainish wines 🍷 I highly recommend every aspect of the Hotel Reina Cristina! We stayed for 2 nights and would like to have stayed longer but there were no vacancies at short notice.

Fantastic staff and perfect location. The first time we stayed we had a small room and problem with the WiFi. The second time we stayed was in a larger room. Everything worked and it was perfect. The staff are all so lovely. It was a great end to our holiday and we enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next year and taking family with us. The car park is small, so we could not park there but they directed us to one not far away which is secure and very reasonable at 18 euros for 24 hours. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was simply amazing. The staff there were so friendly and the lovely Portuguese waiter who was fluent in English explained all of dishes to us. Definitely recommended.

Very modern hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is central air conditioning and a small refrigerator. You get two free water bottles, which is nice, and you can refill them at the many fountains around town. Within walking distance to most of the sights.

This is one of our favourite hotels to stay in when we travel down through Spain. It is immaculately clean and the rooms are beautifully finished . They have everything you need- plenty of plug sockets, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and hair dryer etc . Some rooms have balconies and some have terraces with sun beds and table and chairs. Fabulous views over the city. |The staff are really welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Great breakfast!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the city centre. It’s nicely and modernly furnished, and everything was extremely clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was another highlight – very rich, with a wide variety of options to choose from. However, what completely ruined our stay was the parking situation. When booking, we clearly selected an option with parking included. But upon arrival, the receptionist simply told us “too bad” and said we had to drive 10 minutes away to a paid public parking garage. His attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, and his arrogance left a really bad impression. It’s a shame, because the hotel itself is very nice – but due to this experience at reception, we wouldn’t return.

Nice room but no hot water in the morning. We came late to breakfast on Sunday so empty for eggs. Good location close to old town. Good service in reception.

Good hotel with an excellent location near the old town and the train station. It's quite modern, have comfortable spacious rooms with large beds. However there is a lack of light in the room, especially when your windows look at the wall. Breakfast is rather poor and not worth of paying for it.
