Hotel Relais Du Louvre

Not 4 stars service. Location is the biggest asset, but hotel has a small reception area, and rather cold staff. It can do with some more energy, the reception should feel comfortable, perhaps couches don't overlook the staff desk making guests feel as if they are at an interview. The coffee machine in the reception and water jug looked uninviting, and we never saw anyone use them. Nor did anyone offer. Overall the feeling is not of warmth. Our room had no natural light and was small, and oddly structured. Bathroom steamed and the shower was handheld, and moved. The shampoo dispenser was hard to use, and we had to ask if we could use an unlabeled bottle of liquid. The rooms do get outside noise as the building is old. That is to be expected but when you consider everything else, it feels like one is cheated a little. We paid a lot for what we got.

I have stayed in many different Paris hotels over the years, and this one is definitely my favorite. I prefer hotels with character, and this one has it. The folks who run the hotel are amazingly friendly and helpful, and everything is in immaculate condition. While the rooms aren't massive (and they can't be due to the history of the building), the furnishings are very nice and the bathroom is truly next level and clever. The location is _perfect_. You can walk to most places of interest (e.g., the Louvre, of course, or Notre Dame), access the metro conveniently, and find great dining and shopping options in close proximity. Most importantly, due to its location next to Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois, it is actually rather quiet despite its proximity to everything Paris has to offer. In my opinion, this is the perfect hotel and I definitely plan to stay there the next time I visit. The folks who run this hotel have done an outstanding job, and it really enhanced our experience in Paris.

My wife and I stayed three nights here, at the end of our France vacation. We wanted to be close to the areas we planned to tour during the day (Louvre, Musee de Orsay, St Chapelle, Marais) and this hotel was perfect. It is on a quiet street between Rue de Rivoli and the river. There are many restaurants and cafes within an easy walk (probably true of every city center hotel!) and it was easy to get taxis and ubers when needed.||We stayed in a first floor superior room. The room was directly behind the lobby but very quiet. The room was quite large, nicely decorated and comfortable. We added the breakfast package. Unlike most hotel breakfast buffets, guests place an order the evening before and specify a time, and breakfast is delivered to the room. Last but not least, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We used staff support for making dinner reservations and ordering an early taxi to the airport. ||I would recomment Relais du Louvre without hesitation.

Wonderful gem hidden behind Rue Rivoli and next to the louvre. For a family of 3 there was room for all of us with one twin and one double. The location and the staff made the stay terrific. Extremely clean. Jazzi was a kind and thorough room attendant and Sophie and Frédérique would welcoming and full of ideas. The price was absolutely reasonable for a boutique hotel with space in Paris. Close to everything. Loved this hotel :) Lisa, Brad and Emma from the US.

Le Relais Du Louvre is an absolute gem of a hotel in an excellent location. Though it is steps away from the Louvre, it sits on a very quiet side street. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Our suite was spacious for my family of three and very cozy. We hope to visit again soon!

Lovely hotel, with a great location. Close to restaurants, metro and the Louvre. Worked prefect for a family of 5. The kids had 3 twin beds in their room and a separate room for parents so there was enough space and 2 bathrooms.

Nice stay at this hotel, overall good. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, the facilities in the rooms are also quite complete with an iron and electric kettle. The toilet is quite modern with an electric bidet. I love the hotel staff they serving very friendly. One thing that might be unpleasant is the size of the elevator which only fits one person and two pieces of luggage.

I am unable to review in person details about this hotel yet as our stay isn't happening until summer 2025. I can however already review the phenomenal level of service from this hotel. We have had a complicated reservation dilemma and the hotel staff has been absolutely wonderful. They have been in constant communication with me through the process. To say we are looking forward to our stay is an understatement. I will be sure to update this review after our stay and I have no doubt my rating will remain a 5 star.
