A beautiful place with delicious food and stunning views. We highly recommend booking a room with a view of the city skyline. Inside, there are charming courtyards with seating areas and umbrellas — perfect for enjoying a glass of good wine or beer. Breakfast is served until 9 AM, but we showed up at 10 and the lovely staff still had it prepared for us. That says a lot — it’s a truly family-run place, and you can really feel it :) The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There were absolutely no downsides or complaints. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. P.S. The town itself is breathtaking — the old town is full of beautiful architecture and amazing food spots.

This hotel offers a one-of-a-kind experience thanks to its incredible, beautiful sunset views. The location is truly its best feature. That said, there are significant drawbacks: the lack of a pool and other facilities was noted. Our room was quite dark as it faced a wall, the hotel's layout was perplexing to navigate, and the parking was challenging to find. Most disappointingly, we discovered a hidden fee for room service upon checkout that was not communicated to us beforehand

This is a beautiful place to stay with great staff and amazing views. It feels like staying in a castle to me, with each floor having its own garden area/court yard for lounging. The restaurant is also very good. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Stayed for a total of three nights.

Excellent old style Italian hotel right in the middle of the medieval centre of Gubbio. Parking is an adventure, but once that is sorted you can enjoy Gubbio at you doorstep. The rooms are dates and so is the hotel, but it has character, great friendly staff and perfect location to everything you need for a few days stay.

Fantastic old hotel. Right in the middle of the medieval centre of Gubbio. Parking was … interesting, but we got there. Follow the signs. Don’t trust goggles. The location is amazing and the views from the piazza is stunning. Walking distance to all and the Cable car too. Great for a weekend stay. Rooms are dated, but charming. Bed is huge and comfy.

This little Hotel is wonderfully positioned in the main square of charming Gubbio. Clean and comfortable. Very good value. The cappuccino is good as is the rest of the breakfast spread. The thing that really makes this Hotel special is the staff. They seem to genuinely like doing their job. Professional and friendly.

My husband and I stayed for two nights in a Junior Suite with a balcony while on our 3 week tour of Italy. This hotel has loads of charm and breathtaking views of the medieval city! The staff was super friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat and spots to visit. Don’t miss the funicular! The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The garden bar/restaurant is a great spot to kick back with an aperol spritz (or whatever) and relax! The town of Gubbio is beautiful and a fun escape from the usual summertime tourist madness of the more popular spots in Italy. If you’re planning a trip to Umbria, don’t overlook Gubbio and this lovely boutique hotel!
