My experience with Hotel Rembrandt in Tangier has been an absolute disaster.|I made a reservation on March 7, 2025, through Booking.com for a stay from May 4 to May 6, 2025, with free cancellation and no immediate charge. However, I was charged the full amount on the same day, completely contradicting what was advertised.||On April 7, I had to cancel the booking due to a serious and documented medical reason, and I did so well in advance, giving the hotel plenty of time to relist and resell the room. Still, they kept my money, very likely earning it twice — once from me and again from whoever booked the room afterward.||To this day, despite providing medical proof, I have not received a refund, none of my emails have been answered, and the hotel has completely ignored the situation. This shows a total lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect for guests.||It is unacceptable that in a clear medical force majeure situation, the hotel refuses to refund the payment. The lack of transparency in how they manage payments and cancellations makes this place completely untrustworthy.||The worst hotel of my life: a frustrating, unfair, and utterly disappointing experience. I would never book here again and strongly advise others to stay away.
