Hôtel Rendez-Vous Batignolles

A truly delightful little hotel. My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our room was compact, but that is very much part of the Parisian charm — and it was comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly suited for our stay. Before arriving we had heard a few mixed comments about the surrounding area, but we honestly found it to be absolutely lovely. The atmosphere around Rue des Dames was vibrant and welcoming, with plenty of inviting bars and restaurants nearby. In the mornings there were also numerous cafés and bakeries where you could enjoy a relaxed Parisian breakfast, which made starting the day a real pleasure. One small piece of advice for future visitors: the local eateries are quite intimate and tend to fill up quickly. We hadn’t made a reservation and found it a little challenging to secure a table at one of the nicer places — though that was entirely our own oversight rather than any fault of the area. All in all, a charming hotel in a lively neighbourhood, and we would happily stay again.

My wife an I stayed here for a long weekend in September. There were no problems during my stay and we left happy. Hotel Rendez-Vous Batignolles is a no frills hotel. It provides you a clean place to sleep and shower. IThe temp was in the low 80s when we stayed, the AC had no problem keeping the room cool. The shower had excellent water pressure and the show had plenty of hot water. There is not a ton of horizontal surfaces to put stuff around the room, so you need to keep your belongings in a suitcase. A luggage rack was provided for one suitcase. The bathroom had enough surface for both of our products and tooth brush. Note that there are 2 entrances on the same street, about 50 feet apart from each other. The breakfast is in the basement of the main building. It was not an issue for us, but if you might be irritated if its pouring raining and you have to leave the 2nd building , walk outside and go to the main building to eat breakfast. We were on the second floor. There is an elevator, but it was easier to use the spiral stairs. Finally we arrived around 10:30am, our room was ready so the front allows us to check in early. Thanks!

We stayed for a night, the room is very very small, it’s not possible to open your luggage if it’s too big, or you need to put it on the bed. There is no space to put your clothes or anything, except a small desk. The sink was so small that I could not properly wash my face without putting water everywhere. The breakfast is great and the offer tea, coffee, hot water in the lobby but there is no kettle in the room. It was good for a night and the bed was comfortable. I think the price is too expensive regarding the room size. Otherwise hotel is clean and decoration is very pretty !

We stayed for 6 nights with my friend. The place was very nice and clean. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming. Cleanliness 5/5, location 5/5, there’s 24/7 available coffee at the entrance, and the rooms are secure since the main entrance door opens only with the room card. Reception service 5/5 from everyone. I’m giving 4/5 stars because the rooms are very small, and although the hotel breakfast offers many options, it was never fully stocked, every day we had to ask for some items to be refilled because they had run out.

Pros: The location is excellent—close to the metro and Montmartre. The hotel is situated on a quiet street with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. Although the rooms are small, they are very tastefully decorated. Cons: The main drawback was the mattress, which was extremely soft and uncomfortable, causing back pain. Additionally, there was an issue at checkout where we were mistakenly charged for a breakfast we never had. While it may have been a misunderstanding, it left a negative impression. The hotel also does not offer laundry service. I might consider staying here again, but only for a short visit, as the soft mattress made it uncomfortable for a longer stay.

This hotel is horrible. The room is so small, we came with carry-on luggage and barely fit in the room. The light switch rarely works, you have to bang on the thing for it to do anything. Want to turn on the air conditioning? Too bad, you can’t. Your only option to cool down is to open the window which then brings in a ton of noise that was barely muffled when the window was closed. The bathroom floor has broken tiles that lift off the floor and spread broken pieces of grout for you to step on and hurt your feet. They give you a bottle of water that you can refill with water from their water machine (great!) but the machine is only in the main building and the second building has nothing. The hotel is well placed near public transport, this is the only positive thing about this place. I would never stay here again. Don’t do it. I have never stayed in such a horrible place.

Unfortunately I see myself leaving a bad review here because after sending several emails to the hotel, no one is answering to me! I really need my work invoice, the girl at reception "prepared" it for me and sent it to me email (which I never got, maybe there was a mistake when exchanging it), but then I have written to the hotel several times with the right email and never got an answer. That was already 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately I have to leave this bad review, hoping someone will reach out to me

The hotel is average but lacks in service and comfort. * Airconditioning worked with a movement sensor, meaning it shut off after laying in bed for 10 minutes. Tried to explain the issue multiple times at the front desk. They promised to take a look, but nothing happened. Personel clearly didn't communicate well because the staff in the evening didn't know we had discussed it with their colleague in the morning. * Check your credit card! I only used it in this hotel and saw fraudulent transactions right after our stay. Certainly reason enough for us not go there again. * The breakfast room is tiny and the food served is not great. For €16, go elsewhere.
