A truly delightful little hotel. My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our room was compact, but that is very much part of the Parisian charm — and it was comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly suited for our stay.
Before arriving we had heard a few mixed comments about the surrounding area, but we honestly found it to be absolutely lovely. The atmosphere around Rue des Dames was vibrant and welcoming, with plenty of inviting bars and restaurants nearby. In the mornings there were also numerous cafés and bakeries where you could enjoy a relaxed Parisian breakfast, which made starting the day a real pleasure.
One small piece of advice for future visitors: the local eateries are quite intimate and tend to fill up quickly. We hadn’t made a reservation and found it a little challenging to secure a table at one of the nicer places — though that was entirely our own oversight rather than any fault of the area.
All in all, a charming hotel in a lively neighbourhood, and we would happily stay again.
