Hôtel Rendez-Vous Batignolles

This hotel is horrible. The room is so small, we came with carry-on luggage and barely fit in the room. The light switch rarely works, you have to bang on the thing for it to do anything. Want to turn on the air conditioning? Too bad, you can’t. Your only option to cool down is to open the window which then brings in a ton of noise that was barely muffled when the window was closed. The bathroom floor has broken tiles that lift off the floor and spread broken pieces of grout for you to step on and hurt your feet. They give you a bottle of water that you can refill with water from their water machine (great!) but the machine is only in the main building and the second building has nothing. The hotel is well placed near public transport, this is the only positive thing about this place. I would never stay here again. Don’t do it. I have never stayed in such a horrible place.

We stayed for a night, the room is very very small, it’s not possible to open your luggage if it’s too big, or you need to put it on the bed. There is no space to put your clothes or anything, except a small desk. The sink was so small that I could not properly wash my face without putting water everywhere. The breakfast is great and the offer tea, coffee, hot water in the lobby but there is no kettle in the room. It was good for a night and the bed was comfortable. I think the price is too expensive regarding the room size. Otherwise hotel is clean and decoration is very pretty !

The location is very continent. My room was nice although it was small but you can find everything you need. All staff were friendly. The hotel only needs some richness on the breakfast. It’s fresh but a bit limited in variety.

The hotel is average but lacks in service and comfort. * Airconditioning worked with a movement sensor, meaning it shut off after laying in bed for 10 minutes. Tried to explain the issue multiple times at the front desk. They promised to take a look, but nothing happened. Personel clearly didn't communicate well because the staff in the evening didn't know we had discussed it with their colleague in the morning. * Check your credit card! I only used it in this hotel and saw fraudulent transactions right after our stay. Certainly reason enough for us not go there again. * The breakfast room is tiny and the food served is not great. For €16, go elsewhere.

By Paris standards this was your typical 3 star hotel. It was centrally located near Montmarte and very near lots of restaurants bars and decent coffee. Thee room was small but certainly adequate for a short stay. I did not expect much more, however I do recommend going up beyond a superior is space is an issue for you. |The staff at reception were polite and kind as we had a late check in. There is an elevator and great lounge coffee area with fantastic wifi. My only complaint would be that the towels were tiny and well worn. Otherwise, it is a great hotel for a visit to Paris.

Hotel Rendez vous is in a quiet location and is inexpensive for Paris. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Clichy metro station. We stayed 4 nights for a couples weekend. The bathroom offered very hot water and great water pressure. We stayed in the 2nd building which was a few doors down from the main building. This was not an issue for us, but you might not want to walk outside if it is pouring raining. There is no safe in the room to lock passports in. The only issue I had was the air conditioner; it was filthy. We stayed in September during a 85 degree heat wave. The mini split AC blew black dust (or black mold) on to my side of the bed all night. This made my eyes itch. I attached pictures of the black dust. I did not figure out what the black dust on the sheets was until the morning we checked out so I did not have the opportunity to tell the front desk about it. I recommend the hotel clean the AC mini splits. The breakfast is located in the basement of the main building and included hot items such as eggs and sausage. It featured gourmet coffee and many types of pastries.

Decent location close to Clichy metro to get where you need to go and walkable to montmartre. That’s the 2 stars. Location is good.. It looks chic but this hotel is the reason why people choose air BnB. There is no service let alone customer service. We are here now and have not had the room cleaned in 4 days. With no reason. We came back late today after a long day of walking to our room which once again had not been cleaned. I ended up seeing stacks of towels and sheets in the lobby and had yo grab my own linens to change the bed myself and grab new towels. Sure first world problem. But again I believe travellers choose hotels largely for these types of services. Also you need to bring hair conditioner. They don’t supply it. I would also highly recommend skipping the attic floor 5. Be prepared to knock your head several times on the large beams that run across the sloped roof. Unfortunately we feel that we didn’t receive the service we paid for and so would not recommend staying here considering there are two other similar hotels just down the street.

The location is excellent. We can reach all the major sightseeing spots by bus or foot within 30 minutes. Tons of cafe and restaurants near by. We also enjoy the breakfast and all day free coffee, tea and the water machine. The room is cute and the only complaint I have is the small sink which is very hard to not make a mess of the floor while washing your face. I requested housekeeping everyday however they didn’t restock more cotton cutips after it ran out and one day they didn’t restock the toilet paper. Staff are very friendly though.
