Hotel Renegade

We were blessed with the incredible gift of a stay at the Renegade Hotel in Boise, and it honestly brought us to tears of gratitude. My husband is a cancer patient, and this two-day getaway was such a meaningful and special treat for both of us. From the moment we checked in, we felt cared for and surrounded by comfort. We were gifted the Presidential Suite, and it exceeded every expectation. The spacious corner balcony opened up to sweeping views of the city, and every detail of the suite reflected a balance of rustic charm and modern luxury. The highlight was the gorgeous copper, Western-style deep soaking tub overlooking the city—an experience that was both soothing and unforgettable. Beyond the suite, the surrounding restaurants were fantastic, giving us plenty of dining options just steps away. The rooftop was another highlight, offering a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere with incredible views of Boise. This wasn’t just a hotel stay; it was a memory we will always cherish. The Renegade Hotel gave us a moment of beauty, rest, and joy during a challenging season, and for that, we are deeply grateful. We would love to come back again.

Great new hotel in Boise! Beautifully equipped with all the necessities. The staff did everything in their power to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Everyone from front of house to housekeeping was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in easy walking distance to all downtown eateries and shops.|We will definitely stay here again!||Negatives: Paid parking only, don't stay on the 7th floor (the 8th floor has the rooftop bar which can be quite noisy, in-room Nespresso coffee is really bad!)

Hotel Renegade was a fantastic find in Boise. A very charming, unique, and classy hotel that was very far removed from the usual generic hotel. The thoughtfulness that went into the design esthetic was obvious, everything fit together from the lobby to the hallways to the room and the items in it. The place was spotless, looked brand -new, the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms were very well appointed with everything you need, and all designed with a common theme that was a fit to Boise. The shower was large and fantastic, the TV and wifi worked great, the iron was in a nice black covered case, the floors and lighting were a perfect fit in the design. I tired the rooftop bar and it was a nice place to relax with a cocktail. I will happily return and spend a longer time when I return to Boise.

We had a great time at the Renegade. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the public spaces, including the rooftop bar (great view) and the coffee shop. The central downtown location afforded easy access to downtown parks and restaurants, and we will look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Boise.

My wife and I just completed a wonderful three night stay at this hotel. We travel often ..and our stay was very refreshing. From a very simple, warm welcome at the front desk...to a quick and easy exit are stay was wonderful. The hotel is unique in that the interior design is unlike any other hotel. The unique interior design fit the western, yet glamorous feel of downtown Boise. It is an easy car ride from the airport. There are great restaurant's in the hotel, and just up the street. The downtown is happening. Great bars, shopping, and music.

Such a beautiful and really unique hotel. Gives an old west theme while still being modern. Extremely clean, the rooms have a really cool vibe, and the staff is accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the gorgeous city of Boise. Thank you

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Renegade! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was stylish, welcoming, and full of personality — truly unlike any other hotel experience we’ve had. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the gorgeous design of the rooms to the little touches that made our stay feel special. The staff were great — friendly and attentive. They were casual enough in their mannerisms while still giving us the feeling of a nice getaway. We can’t recommend Hotel Renegade enough — whether you’re visiting for a quick weekend or a longer stay, it’s the perfect place to unwind and feel inspired. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

AWESOME! This place was so neat to stay at. The place has a cool vibe and such a great change from a regular hotel. The rooms are very modern and have huge bathrooms with a giant shower that has great water pressure to run both showerheads. The place was spotless. The staff there was spectacular. Very nice and super helpful with any questions about the area and things to do. The valet crew was very kind and when we requested our vehicle they were fast with not a single issue. The roof top bar was a great place to spent an evening. The coffee shop downstairs was also a nice touch. We will be back again for sure. Full 5 stars across the board.

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds (could use some feather pillows) great rooftop bar. Only complaint is parking and arrival are a bit tricky unless you valet.

Interesting layout. See through shower and bathroom so anyone in the room can watch. The touch of a button "blackout" shades surrounding the shower and bathroom were useless. If I were traveling with my boys this would have a disaster. The website needs to note this. Mattress was rock hard as were the pillows.

Hotel Renegade is amazing to say the least. The building is beautiful, as is the room we stayed in. Everything is brand new, and all staff was extremely friendly. The doormen were above and beyond, and the front desk always had a smile on their face. We even got a surprise upgrade - something that has never happened to me before. We were really blown away by everything here. The value is great, as is the location. All amenities are top notch. The rooftop bar is wonderful, and they have a great cocktail list. They also have a bar and coffee shop next to the lobby. We didn't try the restaurant but I'm sure it's great too. I can't recommend staying here enough.

The best and coolest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! It was newly built in the Spring, and you can tell they have gone to great lengths to make this an amazing and unique experience. The hotel is all leather and wood, and has a distinct smell. The rooms are incredible- having the open window shower is interesting for sure...but I did notice in rooms with 2 beds, the shower was walled in so there are options. They come with a Marshall Bluetooth speaker which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and I didn't hear too much road noise. The hotel is right downtown so it's walking distance to all sorts of amazing restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and made an effort to have our stay be an excellent experience, and they succeeded. If I ever find myself back in Boise, I know where I'm staying!

My daughter booked her wedding night here last October! On a budget of course they reserved the best room they could afford. Upon arrival they discovered the hotel upgraded them to the "Pend d'Orielle" Penthouse! I can't tell you what this meant to these kids! The room was amazing with their signature copper tube and all the amities expected of a top quality property in their finest room. I hope this review helps more than a thank you letter!

Hotel Renegade is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in all of my world travels. I knew from the minute I booked my reservation over the phone with Hannah that this hotel was going to be a great place. The check-in experience was smooth and efficient. My room was gorgeous, cozy, and clean, and the hallways were quiet in the evening. Every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant... When can I move in? :-)

This hotel is a dream! From the moment you walk in the front desk staff is so kind, knowledge with a smile! The hotel lobby bar is so beautiful! The bar service staff is very on top of it and professional. They know their stuff on liquor. Went above and beyond to get drinks and food ordered for my group! We went to dinner in the restaurant, with a reservation, I can't even you how wonderful the service was! The steak was amazing, I highly recommend the scallop potatoes! The Gin and Toxic is my favorite they use a special toxic that is aged in bourbon barrels. We then headed up stairs to the hotel rooftop bar, the are an amazing view of the city. It is brand new and every one of Boise wants to check out this place. Again, staff is working so hard to make this work and you can see the efforts are being put into place! Way to go to everyone working hard to make it happen. 5

I did not stay at the hotel, but I went upstairs to their bar area and the view was gorgeous. Unfortunately, my phone died so I wasn't able to take any photos, but the ladies at the front desk were so nice that they looked for a charger that would work with my iPhone. Very sweet and accommodating.

Trendy hotel situated downtown Boise, walking distance from the state Capitol building, Rediscovered Books, The Chocolate Bar, Stella's Ice Cream. Housekeeping staff is superb and will leave extra supplies when left a note. The king rooms have nice extras, including an umbrella, bathroom scale, robes, extra blanket, ironing board with iron. Tea kettles can be requested for the room, which is a plus for tea drinkers. There are a few negatives: small " closet" which is half of the cupboard with ironing board and no drawers for one's clothes in the bedroom. The one drawer contains a large safe suitable for a laptop. There are baskets in the nightstand, but no drawers. Best to pack one's items in packing cubes and dropping in the baskets. Definitely not ideal. There is no place to store any medications, which should never be stored in a humid bathroom. Breakfast options in the coffee shop are minimal, so plan ahead.

Location, service and vibe were off the chart. Highly recommend. Highlander roof top was highlight as well. Chris was great bartender.

I didn't know how to turn the lights out or turn the shower on or off. I had to call for a WiFi name and also it was so noisy two nights that one night I couldn't fall asleep without earplugs and another night I was woken up at 1 by drunken and loud neighbors. Also although I had an Ada room there was no place to put my bags out of the way and no full length closet to have my dresses. So I hung them in the hallway. This place was definitely form over function. I never stayed in a worse hotel

The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms decorated exceptionally. The problem comes with 2 issues we had. 1- we live Dogs but they need to have designated rooms. Both nights (and days) we had nonstop barking from the room next to us. We let them know in the am after first night and said it would be addressed. Upon our return, still barking dogs. At 9:39 pm at night we called again.... After dogs were nonstop barking. We have dogs, and we love them, designate rooms specific to this and not on the 6th floor! Also, parking is 0 and a mandatory $35 valet fee is absurd. Would not stay here again for those reasons. Cute, trendy but needs to have some regulations and modifications in place.

Hotel is awesome. Great place to stay. No parking and the toilet area is not private. Toilet area was the only negative.

Best hotel in Boise! Amazing staff providing excellent customer service in an impeccably designed hotel. Can't wait to go back!

If you're looking to feel posh for the night, this is it. Nice little staycation in Boise. Hotel was clean, attentive, modern and cool.

Hotel Renegade was an experience of above-and-beyond hospitality. Even before entering, I was greeted by doormen and valet who opened the door. Upon entering, I was welcomed by bright smiles and warm acknowledgements by the staff at the front desk who were upbeat, patient, informative, and all together helpful. I had the privilege of using Hotel Renegade's meeting space for a week-long meeting. The head of meeting operations and supporting crew were at the room to greet me for the first morning, and we exchanged contact information. The level of care, communication, professionalism, and fast and responsive assistance we received was remarkable. We started in one entirely aesthetically pleasing and nicely set-up conference room. There was some minor work being done nearby and an individual from our meeting complained to staff about the noise, and in the blink of an eye, the staff had us set up and moved to another room sans any extra charges. This crew was so fast and responsive in troubleshooting even the most minor of things (of which there were few). And they all had the best attitudes and most helpful demeanors. We had an off-site day and asked if Hotel Renegade could help with procuring beverages and snacks. Their team was seamless with communication and had a proposal drawn up in no time. Then they went out of their way to deliver the snacks and goods, even though we were at another venue. Start to finish, the experience I had with the Hotel Renegade staff was superb! And the hotel is spectacular! The layout and design are so aesthetically pleasing. The exposed wood beams, wood framing, plush seating, massive windows, light wall color palette, and combination of wood and tile flooring made for a vibrant, rich, welcoming environment. The Sawtooth room and the ballroom are elegant meeting spaces, and the patio next to the ballroom is striking with great seating and views across Boise. The artwork found throughout the hotel is also a great accompaniment to a great space. Thank you!

This has definitely been one of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in. Above all else, the hospitality has been unmated. Baily was more than helpful, amazing customers service. We'll definitely be back!
