We visited La Cour du Bailli for lunch, and while the food was genuinely delicious and well-prepared, the service was frustrating and distracting. Our waiter — a middle-aged man with gray hair — seemed extremely nervous. When we asked for the dessert menu, he dropped it on the table and literally ran off without saying a word.
Even earlier, he cleared a plate that we hadn’t finished yet, without asking. The whole interaction felt rushed and awkward, which really took away from the experience. For a restaurant with such a charming setting and good food, the service felt completely out of place — certainly not what you’d expect from French hospitality.
