Hotel Resol - Akihabara

Excellent location, just a short walk from several underground and train stations. We received a warm welcome from the night staff, which made for a great start. The room was small but very cozy, with a large window offering a beautiful city view. While housekeeping isn’t done daily, fresh towels and rubbish collection are provided every day. We also added breakfast for an extra ¥2000 per person, and it was absolutely worth it! Highly recommend this place if you’re planning a trip to Tokyo!

This hotel has a great location, but the rooms are quite small. The best part of our stay at Hotel Resol was definitely the breakfast (not included in the hotel rate) at the restaurant attached to it: there were plenty of tasty options and everything was fresh and delicious! Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of the small robot roaming around the reception area. These days privacy is very important, and a self-driving robot with multiple cameras didn’t exactly make me feel comfortable.

We spent 4 nights in the hotel. The room was small but has everything needed. It was clean and very quite. We were at the 11th floor and there was the option to open the window (not completely ofc) but i liked it because i don’t like the AC. The position is great 5 min walking from the Akihabara station. I really enjoyed my stay.

Classic small Tokyo-style rooms—clean and quiet, but due to the hotel’s location by the river, watch out for mosquitoes. Every day, towels and water bottles are hung on your door, and you leave your trash and used towels outside the door in the evening. The pillows are thin, so I recommend asking for extra ones. The reception is on the 2nd floor, and you can get anything you need for the room from there. There’s a mandatory room cleaning every four days. The ventilation system works well. You can do self-checkout. Here’s a tip for Tokyo: if you can, choose a room with two separate beds—they tend to be a bit bigger. Downsides: it’s hard to move comfortably inside the room, the location is a bit of a walk from Akihabara center. It’s close to the JR station entrance but walking to the main street takes a bit longer. Also, the lighting is poor.

Good location and very accessible to the various train stations. Eateries and shopping is in abundance within Akihabara. Room is functional and amenities such as toothbrush, comb etc can be found on Level 2. New towels & water are given daily which is a plus. Staff are friendly too! Would recommend to stay here nxt time we are in Tokyo!

Good and quiet location just off the busy area of akihabara. Easy access to 3 different train stations with many nice places to eat nearby. The hotel itself is clean and nice, the size was as expected being in Tokyo. Room cleaning is every 4 days but towels and trash is replaced daily in a timely manner. The staff is able to help store our luggage before checkin and after checkout if required. They are all able to communicate in English. Overall a very positive experience and would return to stay here again.

I stayed in a few hotels during my trip to Tokyo, but this one was my absolute favourite! From the moment I checked-in I received excellent service, especially from their very cute robot receptionist. They have a really nice chill area with free coffee, soft drinks and even manga. Room was small as with most tokyo hotels, but they really maximised the space. It was clean, and perfect for a couple. Location was great. I loved Akihabara! Great food nearby, and great if you like shopping for nerdy stuff, cute stuff etc I was also really happy with the offering of amenities. You can even borrow a hair iron!

Great location, very near to several public transportation options and close to the centre of Akihabara. The rooms are really nice, clean but prepare yourself: small! Opening your (European) luggage will be challenging. Very silent acoustics, friendly and all amenities available.
