Hotel Resol - Akihabara

Great location with just a few minutes walk to Akihabala. There is another Resol hotel right across the street and we got to the wrong one on the first day. But the staff of both hotels were super helpful and friendly and provided us with a map with instructions to the right Resol hotel.Loved the idea of welcoming guests with a gachapon experience. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Would be even nicer if some local cuisine could be included. Room was quiet and clean, aminities were provided on the reception floor. The cleaning staff would provide new towels and take care of your garbage everyday. The two checked cushions in the room had an unpleasant smell. I guess it might be better to put on some cushions covers so that it's easier to clean. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay and a big thumb up to the friendly staff!

The hotel is located very close to both Akibahara Electric Town and the subway so walking to experience the former or taking the latter to reach out further in Tokyo is super easy. You can easily walk farther. I visited both Yasukuni shrine and the Imperial palace simply walking there, but the subway is super convenient if you avoid the rush times. I spent ~3 weeks here over the holidays (dec 22-jan 10) and I loved this place. The staff are extremely helpful, the rooms (though smallish) are plenty enough for me, and the somewhat larger bath tub was a nice bonus. However, be mindful of the fact that the space for storing bigger luggage in the room is limited. I fit my single big piece of luggage in the space underneath the foot of the bed without much difficulties, though I can see how with two people and their respective bags in there it may be crowded. Since this is a Japanese business hotel, if I understand the Google description correctly, slightly cramped, especially if you are a somewhat larger person like me, is to be expected. The only reason I deducted a star is because there was some minor damage to a shelf in my room which, though functionally didn't matter, also didn't look very nice on first impression. The lobby has amenities such as basic toiletries, tea/coffee which you can avail yourself of as well as a microwave if you want to heat up some food you bought at a konbini. I pre-paid for the breakfast at the hotel's Italian restaurant, and it was a good thing I did because I had a wallet mishap later in the trip. Having that food to look forward to each morning took away some of the stress of limited means of payment (lost debit card so had to block it among other things). Absolutely no complaints about the food. I don't know when I will be back in Japan, though I certainly intend to go there and if I do visit Tokyo for a 3rd time I think I'll book another stay here. I'm not the best at taking pictures or filming videos, but I attached some few I took in the lobby and restaurant to this review. Oh, and the little robot greeter in the lobby is adorable 😁

Great hotel in the Akihabara area! The location was perfect - very close to the subway, making it easy to get around, and just a couple of stops from Tokyo Station. If you enjoy game centers and electronics, it’s also perfect, and every evening after sightseeing, you can go play arcade games. The reception staff were extremely friendly — probably the nicest we met during our whole trip in Japan. Plus, there’s an adorable robot that greets guests at the front desk, which was a fun little touch. The rooms are small, as in most of Japan, but very cozy. Surprisingly, the bathroom was quite large, which was a nice bonus. 100% recommend!

Great location close to two stations (Akihabara and Kanda). The room was clean and very quiet, despite the proximity of the railway line, we couldn't hear any trains passing by. Very good breakfasts.

This hotel exceeded my expectation as a boutique hotel. Great location near two metro lines and jr line, within walking distance to bic camera, yodobashi, fast food chains yet quiet enough at night for a good night sleep. No cleaning everyday but they leave bottles of water and fresh towels by your doorstep everyday which is totally fine by me as I don’t need to room cleaned everyday. However, The room is really small for two people (Tokyo std size) and we struggled to open our mid size luggage fully. Otherwise this hotel is great. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed in this fantastic hotel for 5 nights in December 2025. The location is superb with 5-6 Train & Subway stations around YET it's very peaceful by the River. Do try to get the River View room and can enjoy the tranquility view. Staff are friendly and helpful. The inhouse Italian restaurant is very popular and often seen fully booked, a pity we did not get to try.

Its location is great within tons of shopping and restaurants. It is accessible to four plus train and subway lines. Bed is one of the most comfortable I remember, slightly bigger than Japanese double.(moderate double room). Bathroom is a good size and clean. The receptionists are all welcoming and helpful to my enquiries. I did not use the breakfast since I find more interesting Japanese restaurants within walk distance. The downside: I am constantly frustrated with the room size and lack of shelves to put laptop. I saw visitors eating bring in foods such as cup noodles in the lobby where they have a communal wooden table and chairs.

Brilliant Japanese hotel in Akihabara. We were an Indian family of four booked in two rooms for a week. Just three minutes walk from the Train station and bus stop. Five minutes from Yodobashi, The rooms are bit compact, bit they are adequate. They provide a mini fridge n hair dryer in the room. We had the river view from our room. The bathrooms have a tub which is a boon to soak in after a long day out in Tokyo. They provide fragrant bath salts, lotion, face wash, hair serum, etc snatchers at the lobby. The Italian restaurant at the lobby is absolutely wonderful. And the microwave in the lobby is such a blessing. I had concert tickets delivered to the reception & they handed over when we arrived. Very sweet reception team.
