A delightful hotel, full of Swiss character. Stayed here for two nights whilst walking the Via Alpina. We were met with a very warm welcome from the proprietor who went out of her way to be helpful. We had a double room with small balcony which was comfortable and pleasant. The bathroom was quirky as it is a sort of built -in unit in the room. That said, the shower was hot and had a good flow of water, the sink was large and there was a good supply of towels. The whole place is immaculate and our rooms were cleaned to the highest standard both days. A clothes line and pegs were provided on the balcony, a very welcome and practical addition for trekkers looking to rinse out a few items en route. As previous reviewers have stated, we had a bottle of wine for our balcony and two wine glasses were left in our room by the cleaner for us without having to ask. What a lovely touch! We ate in on our first night and were so impressed with the home cooked rosti that we chose to eat in again the second night of our stay. A lucky choice as there was also a local Swiss folk band playing and we had a great sing-along as they provided booklets with the words! A really fun evening.|Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place with character and the warmest of welcomes. A big thank you to all the staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Alpenblick! The rooms are extremely clean and well kept and the service provided by Janet and her team is exceptional! The dinners we had at the hotel were also the best we had during our entire month in Europe. You can tell the food is homemade with high quality ingredients. We would highly recommend this place and hope to be back someday!

This is where I stayed my first time in Murren 5 years ago. Family run, you are in great hands of Jeannette & Thomas. This time I arrived without my delayed suitcase for 2 days with the clothes on my back. When I came down for dinner there was one of Thomas' beautiful t-shirts waiting for me. Really made a difference! 3 days in Heaven is staying here in Murren. My balcony looked across to the beautiful vista of Eiger & Munch mts. The hotel is a very short walk down from the station & from the bustle of the village. The rooms are quiet, upgraded & comfortable. Breakfast is a full continental spread w/ local cheeses & meats, fruits & hard-boiled eggs & local breads. The restaurant is known to the locals as the best with lots of local options. I ate there every night. I wish I could keep it my secret Swiss sanctuary..

Outstanding family owned hotel with a great restaurant! Close to the train station for easy access to Lauterbrunnen and other valley cities. Murren is a great launching spot for many adventures!
I just cannot say enough positive about the hotel property and how great the owners were. Umbrellas and hiking poles are free to use on a first come first serve basis. Small downfall is that is a bit of a walk to the restaurant area but with the walking views it is not really an issue.

Jeanette and Tom make every visit feel like a return to a peaceful and joyous home.
Dinners are delightful and with the benefit of an evening right outside the door.
Our room this time faced south with stunning views of the whole Alpine ridge.
The views of mountains were all from our balcony!

We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Alpenblick and it was fantastic. Clean and comfortable room with endless views (see pics). We stayed in Room 18 for 2 adults and an 11 year old and it was great. Breakfast is plentiful and service fantastic. Location is not in the centre of town and a short walk to the train station…ideal. There is no elevator, but your trail legs should have no problem. I wish they had a mini-fridge…that would be the only bit of feedback. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service excellent. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

This family friendly hotel is lovely. At the very edge of Murren village, it offers a peaceful and quiet environment. The sound of flowing water is constantly heard as a mountain stream passes near the hotel. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was good. The hosts are amiable and welcoming, and can offer valuable guidance on local hikes.
