I am struggling to come up with anything positive to say. We were in room 401. For almost $500 a night, I would expect a room with a chair and somewhere to hang clothes that was more than a foot-long pole over the coffee maker. This room is so small that we could not pass each other round the bed. (It should have a single/twin bed only.) There was one bag stand which took up most of one side of the bedroom. We used the stool as the other bag stand as there was no floor space for it. No space for a table. No fridge. At least half the walls are unpainted with pencil graffiti, which some might think quirky. We thought it was messy. Our bathroom did, at least have a door, though the sink could not be plugged. It was very hot for the three nights we stayed, so we had to have the bathroom window open. As the hotel is positioned on a major intersection, the traffic noise and shouting drunks kept us awake. Our tiny balcony overlooked the main road, and also enabled us to look into the large office block nearby - I could have helped the office staff to redraft their documents. We had drinks one evening in the bar area, which we were told we had to vacate by 10pm. When we asked the desk staff to help us book a restaurant, they said they could only do that for restaurants in their chain. We also asked them for advice on where to visit by boat, and were told to go to the boat quay to ask. We were not impressed. I would not stay there again.
