Hotel-Restaurant Arc-en-ciel

Wonderful service! Great service for families and the children love the play spaces downstairs. My 4 year old nephew constantly says “I LOVE Arc En Ciel”. The children’s menu is very diverse and it’s not too much or too little food. My favorite dish is the goat cheese salad and consommé. Their pizza, bolognese, and carbonara is pretty delicious as well.

An excellent hotel in every aspect, from the warm and welcoming reception to the beautiful rustic room décor. The location is outstanding—less than 10 minutes from the center of Gstaad and directly next to Eggli mountain. The hotel restaurant is very delicious, especially the pizza. Special and sincere thanks to Mr. Wael Alkhudair for his exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and continuous support. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay truly memorable.

Stayed each year for a few days since 2003, love this hotel. Very friendly staff, very nice rooms, excellent food and service. Kids love the surroundings, the nearby pool and the ski lift next door. If only global warming wouldn’t mess with the snow…. Looking forward to coming back this winter season!

We had dinner here, but it was exquisite. The staff were amazing, the food incredible, and the setting romantic. We will definitely come back here.

The best restaurant in Gstaad by far. The food is fantastic, the service is too notch. I highly recommend to eat there in your first day because you will definitely come back. This is my fourth time here.

Never even sniffed Switzerland, let alone crashed at this hotel. But some Saudi influencer was talking Indian guest on X, so I snooped the reviews. Sweet baby yodels, what a freakin’ show! 🤣🤣🤣 This hotel’s replies to salty reviews are spicier than a fondue pot on fire! I’m booking a room just to yeet a bad review their way and see if they roast me into next week.😅

Stopped by for lunch only. Best bolognese pasta I’ve had in my life. Nearly licked the plate while sitting at a cute table next to the flow of a stream. Great service.

Had an exceptional birthday brunch outside (Sept. 7, 2025), food, especially the risotto was out of this world! Presentation, attentive waiters, etc. was superb!!

The food was expensive and the service insulting. I was looking forward to the evening but was very disappointed.

One of our first meals in Gstaad area and we were very happy to find this spot. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Our pizza with olives, artichokes, meats and even a fried egg was very nice. And the pasta with chicken and a lemon wine sauce was very good too. Nice wine list. Mix of families and couples do a great crowd for everyone.

This is a nice family restaurant in a town that is lacking that sort of facility. One of the issues I find in Switzerland is that it hard to get a meal outside of their established hours. Most places around here simply won't serve you between 2pm and 6pm. I find that really annoying. For God's sake, you're on vacation and Gstaad is a vacation destination, so why not try to better cater to the needs of some of the guests? This brings me to Arc-En-Ciel. This place serves up the majority of their menu anytime of day. It is just so convenient when maybe you've been hiking on the Eggli for a couple of hours and need a late lunch at 3pm. The service here is very professional and particularly child friendly. I guess because of the hotel, the restaurant has a playroom downstairs for the kids, and even a little playground outside by the parking lot with little electric go-carts. The food is very consistent, typical Swiss, but also decent pastas and pizzas. I would say it's the best place to go for quality meals if you have small children and want to please your whole family.

Great terrace on sunny days but equally nice when weather is not so great. They are known for excellent pizza and it is. Also have quite good salad bar and pasta. Open during off season periods when others may not be. Service is pleasant and locals frequent this establishment. Great if you have kids and or pets. I continue to return
