Hotel-Restaurant Arc-en-ciel

Amazing hotel and impeccable service from the manager Wael who made sure we were well taken care off. We had a room that was next to the river and we woke up listening to the birds chirping and the river flowing it was unforgettable. The balcony was also large and we had our meals there as well as their complementary breakfast in the room. The hotel offers a spa however you must book it in advance, it is a fully private spa which you can book for an hour however I would assume in winter time the demand for the Spa would be much more than the available time slots which may be an issue, the spa is lacking an outdoor jacuzzi which is always a treat when you go on a ski holiday for me personally. The hotel overall is worth staying at and is good value for the summer and is a great location in the winter since its next to the ski lifts.

What an excellent 2 night stay. Wish it were longer though. The grounds, staff and food were all excellent. Everyone from top to bottom was helpful and friendly. We were fetched at the train station and brought back to this beautiful facility. It’s just a short walk from the promenade in Gstaad but far enough away that you feel you’re in a small village of your own. Highly recommend.

They amaze you in every way. All of them smile with warm heart and you don't feel like going back. Location is perfect with serene river flowing at a walking distance.|Rooms are spacious and neat, clean & well maintained with all the necessary amenities.|The Food at "Pizzeria" is delicious. |It is 30 mins from Glacier 3000 and bus stop is 5 mins away.|They provide free transfer both ways.|What more we can ask for?|Definitely will be going back again!|Other Swiss hotels should learn from you.

Amazing hotel and staff, truly 5 star all the way. We have stayed at some renowned 5 star hotels around the world and must say, this is one of the best. We had the 1 bedroom apartment. Amazing decor, furniture and beds. Cleanliness 5 star. What made our experience 5 star is because of the staff. From transportation from and to the train station, during breakfast, and specially the front desk. Looking forward to visiting again.

This hotel and restaurant are both in the top hotels we have visited. Service was sincere, swift, professional and friendly. The restaurant was bustling at every turn with wood fired pizzas, handmade pasta and good vibes. Might be my favorite restaurant on the entire trip to Switzerland.

Nested at the heart of Gstaad Switzerland, Hotel arc en ciel provides an excellent culinary experience. Ambience is great, the place is an ancient chalet beautifully decorated to set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Enjoyed the meat and the traditional cheese fondue.

We had a most wonderful stay at the beautiful Hotel Arc-en-ciel in Gstaad run by the very friendly Mr Wetli, Matti family & team. The little apartment no 501 is most cosy, nicely furnished & ideal for three people with two separate bedrooms, living room & kitchen, the welcome is outstanding, the breakfast fantastic & the location ideal (walking distance to Gstaad main stores & lovely walks just outside the hotel along the river). We will be back soon!

We had a beautiful 2 night stay here, and everything was great! The rooms were nice and clean. One little hiccup, though. In Room 504, the side door that opened up to the garden had a broken lock and couldn't be locked shut. The breakfast was so great and especially the staff was superb!! You can order more stuff off the menu that they will make fresh in their kitchen. We would love to come back. If you are thinking about booking here, look no further. DO IT!
