Hotel-Restaurant Blümlisalp Grindelwald

I stay there a couple months ago, the view from the hotel is very nice. But the service very dissapointed. At the time we arrived, the receptionist and also a waiter just said a view things about the rule and we left without any instruction to went upstairs. We waited about 20 minutes and nobody served us, so we went upstairs ourselves. The wifi very bad signal. And the waiter at the restaurant can not speak english, when i asked in english, she ignored me. Very very bad service..never come back again..and not recommended to stay here.

Nice position with clean and simple room, even if the side facing the Eiger is also facing the street. Good food, but rude and somehow arrogant service which ruined the atmosphere: at the end I left with a bitter feeling.

Wowwwww! This hotel couldn't be in a more beautiful location. Nestled right under the mountains, the views are incredible. From our balcony it was the most beautiful view I've ever seen. So serine and peaceful, yet very close to downtown. Much better than staying in the town which can get loud, especially on Wednesday nights when they have street parties. The hotel also serves a wonderful breakfast, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Love it!

Beautiful location with the worst service. Unfriendly people who did not cater to us at all. Very rude when asked anything. Most of the time it was difficult to even find someone for help. Room service was also terrible. I loved the view but would never recommend this place because of the service.

This hotel is situated opposite the Eiger mountain and has amazing views. We had two mountain view rooms with balconies and found ourselves just staring at these in the morning and evenings. Its quiet peaceful and relaxing. Bus stop directly outside. Lovely walks and restaurant within hotel too. Lovely staff and clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast is continental style. Wonderful charming hotel would recommend and would go back.

The room was a good size, with a nice bed and fast WiFi. Breakfast was really good. The restaurant is popular with the locals, and the food was nice. ||||The hotel is in a beautiful area & there are great views of Mount Eiger from the front of the hotel. There’s a bus stop just outside, and the bus is quick and easy.

The hotel was great. Rooms were clean and had a solid Swiss charm. Stepping out onto the balcony and seeing a beautiful cliff face was breath taking. Also the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Only downside was less than ideal WiFi, but maybe that was a blessing in disguise. It added to the secluded charm of the hotel.

As have so many other writers, I begin by noting the view which is simply spectacular. We sat on our balcony watching the sun set on the Eiger. It was magical. And again the next morning as the sun rose. The hotel itself is otherwise of the B&B type. Simple rooms, friendly staff. The property is a good long way from town, which we appreciated because it was quiet and serene. The center of Grindelwald is pretty crowded and noisy, but this place was relaxing and pleasant. I would staff again.
