Hotel Restaurant Canet

Wonderful small family run hotel in Castello D’Empuries. We stayed here 2 nights as part of a hiking trip. The room was clean and the breakfast was tasty. The restaurant was the highlight. 3 course dinner with water and wine included for €23! It was such great value and the portions were big. Come hungry! The olive oil, wine, and all the ingredients were extremely high quality. We loved the old charm of the Medieval city and this lovely hotel.

Stayed in hotel and ate in restaurant two nights. The set menus are amazing and the portions are huge; three courses and a bottle of wine for 23 euros. Service is fast and friendly.

This was our lodging after the second day of our walking trip. Very friendly staff. Adequate room which was clean and had plenty of closet space. Comfortable bed and Nice hot shower. There’s a bar on the ground floor where we had a glass of cava before dinner and then enjoyed a meal at the hotel restaurant. Pleasant and convenient.

I liked the location, just in the middle of the village. Clean and new well equipped rooms. Breakfast at the rooftop is great. Easy to visit nearby beaches, so it can be a good base camp.

Truly lovely small hotel which deserves more than it's 2 star rating. We didn't use the pool (it was October) but it looked amazing and located in the most amazing building. The hotel decor is lovely and the terrace where breakfast is served has breathtaking views over the village. Breakfast was superb, of a very high standard. The village is lovely, plenty of nice bars and restaurants (closed on Wednesdays!). Private secure parking is available about 100m from the hotel by the swimming pool. We didn't use the hotel restaurant but it looked very good. All in all very pleased with our stay

Must try their restaurant - great choices of Catalan dishes and great value. 3-course dinner from €23+ incl wine and water and bread (+ aioli) and olive. My choices are onion soup, duck and melon - deliciously homemade 😋

We were invited for lunch yesterday—a three-course menu that was simple but very tasty and offered at a good price. Each course offered a choice of four options for starter, main course, and dessert. I had a delicious cannelloni with spinach, paella, and crema catalana. The staff was also friendly. We’ll definitely come back!

A delightful place to stay, dog friendly, spacious rooms, really beautiful pool and a great place from which to explore this delightful town. We didn't eat here but the restaurant looked really good too. The breakfast, up on the 4th floor was superb - amazing quality and choice and we had our breakfast watching the mists lift and the sun rise over the town. Stunning.
