Hotel Restaurant Canet

Truly lovely small hotel which deserves more than it's 2 star rating. We didn't use the pool (it was October) but it looked amazing and located in the most amazing building. The hotel decor is lovely and the terrace where breakfast is served has breathtaking views over the village. Breakfast was superb, of a very high standard. The village is lovely, plenty of nice bars and restaurants (closed on Wednesdays!). Private secure parking is available about 100m from the hotel by the swimming pool. We didn't use the hotel restaurant but it looked very good. All in all very pleased with our stay

We were invited for lunch yesterday—a three-course menu that was simple but very tasty and offered at a good price. Each course offered a choice of four options for starter, main course, and dessert. I had a delicious cannelloni with spinach, paella, and crema catalana. The staff was also friendly. We’ll definitely come back!

A delightful place to stay, dog friendly, spacious rooms, really beautiful pool and a great place from which to explore this delightful town. We didn't eat here but the restaurant looked really good too. The breakfast, up on the 4th floor was superb - amazing quality and choice and we had our breakfast watching the mists lift and the sun rise over the town. Stunning.

We were booked into this hotel as part of a walking holiday. The hotel has an amazing frontage, swimming pool area and rooftop breakfast area. I can understand why it is a two star hotel because it’s lacks the comfort of a 3 star. Our room was on the small side. The breakfast is at the roof top space but is very functional - more like a hostel vibe than other places we stayed in but the views are incredible. There is a restaurant in the hotel.|For anyone walking there is a small supermarket nearly opposite.

The restaurant in this hotel is awesome. Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. You absolutely cannot beat the prices. Room was good and so was the mattress. We enjoyed both our stay and our meal!

Had a super holiday in Hotel Canet. Spotless rooms, Gorgeous views from the rooftop terrace for breakfast , delicious food and friendly service. Pool area was so relaxing and beautiful. We had the pool entirely to ourselves for lots of the time. Many thanks to Hotel Canet.

Wow, what can I say? We arrived at 1am but I had rung in advance and the manager/owner left instructions about getting in and we checked in the next morning. We were a bit disappointed because the room was at the back but it was a HUGE room and very quiet (room 107). Lovely beds, huge bathroom. A/C. No fridge. Breakfast included, the breakfast room was on the top floor with amazing views. Super breakfast too, juice, cereals, croissants, coffee, everything you could ask for. Also, super friendly manager/owner who speaks English and French as well as Catalan and Spanish. The best thing is the hidden swimming pool nearby which guests have access to, with a key. It's in a converted monastery and it was just fabulous. Free carpark for guests next to the pool. ||||The food in the evening in the hotel was also good value and the portions were massive too. People in the tourist information were very helpful and everyone spoke English. ||||I can't rate this hotel highly enough. Great to use as a base for touring around the area of Figueres and the coast. Please check it out!

The pool is located a few blocks away from the hotel but it's worth the walk to swim or relax in this luxurious pool! There are several areas to relax. also some workout equipment and the surrounding walls were once a convent.
