This hotel features natural wooden furniture and offers a truly delicious cuisine! When I complimented Chef Stegemann on the food, he told me that he personally selects local farmers to source artisanal cheeses and meats. I was absolutely delighted with the delicious breakfast. We were served by a very cheerful and kind waitress named Lira. I really enjoyed my short stay at this hotel!

digital check in is only working for the outside door, have to go to other hotel side to get room key; stayed two nights, pre-order breakfast is delivered by 6AM, room is quiet

Our actual stay at The Corvatsch was excellent. However the stress of (1) Having our booking cancelled by an automaton three days before our arrival and (2) receiving an invoice for approximately three times what it should have been the night before departure negated the happy times. An apology six days after an e-mail of complaint, blaming a 'new' system, was a poor response. After a number of pleasant and comfortable previous visits to the Laudinella Hotel (part of the same hotel group) this was a serious disappointment.

Great hotel and location! Easy check in , good space in the bedroom and great breakfast |And it’s great that they offer a shuttle service that picks you up at the train station ! Also the convenience to rent your ski equipment at the sister hotel

Food and ambiance were great. A very casual, mountainy vibe and many gluten free options, clearly labeled!

Very welcoming and warm service and atmosphere. Great rooms with an amazing view. The shower pressure was very good and heated up quickly. Amazing amazing food! Definitely would love to come again.

This place is more like a roach motel. It will even make motel 6 look like a luxury hotel. Small room with oversized furniture. We had 2 twin size as queen bed with a space in between the size of Lake Geneva, the pillow is about as thick as the blanket. You have to check in at the main hotel across the street and no one is around to help you with anything.

I lost my earphones and thought it was staff. I'm an idiot, my apologies. Rooms were very clean. Staff were extremely nice, especially the lady that does breakfast in the morning. She was always very accommodating and made sure everything was plentiful and that coffee was on the table without asking. She was incredible. Thanks to housekeeping as well, always cleaning up after me after a long day's work. Thanks for having me.

Yelp
Not a win. Was on the hunt for Swiss fondue since it is world famous, and woooo boy it's a little pricey here... We just got in from Germany and figured in a tourist town, it's gotta cost a lot anyway. We had a server that didn't speak much English, and we had English on the menu... We pointed to the $52 meal and the $57 one, asking what the difference was... She pointed to the top one and said "cheese" and pointed to the bottom one and said "no cheese." So we said "cheese," and it was supposed to come with bread, fries or rice, mixed meat, and salad... We got some pickles instead and were about to fall asleep in our food waiting to see if anything else would come out, so finally we asked... Turns out she gave us nothing but fondue with pickles, which is $29 a person and not what we ordered or expected. So we just shrugged it off since we were tired, paid the bill, and left. A glass of fresh OJ was $8. A glass of citron water was $4.50 Fondue per person (cheese, pickles, and bread) was $29 per person. Unfortunately, the food is not nearly as good as what the price tag commands. It's incredibly expensive and just okay. I don't mind paying good money for good food, but this was not worth it.

Yelp
Having walked all over St Moritz, trying in vain to get a restaurant table on a Saturday night, we were hugely relieved this place was able to fit us in. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good selection on menu. They seem to specialize in grilled meats. We tried the lamb, which was cooked to perfection, and a mushroom risotto very tasty and just the right quantity. Plenty of choice of accompaniments. The only downside was the dessert menu a very disappointing list of ice creams, sorbets, chocolate mousse and other standard items that were obviously straight out of the freezer. It would be great to see something more authentic. So we skipped dessert and went straight to coffee.

Yelp
I will not only review the Restaurant , but also the Hotel. I have to respond to a previous reviewer who said some negative things. First of all the owner of the hotel speaks perfect English, but understand no one is required to speak English. Try learning another language . The restaurant at the Hotel Corvatsch is one of the best in all of St Moritz. the food is delicious and the room is atmospheric and typical Swiss. The Hotel is not fancy but it is charming , spotless and very comfortable. Not full of glitzy amenities, just warm and inviting and convenient . If you are a serious skier there could not be a better place, unless you stay directly on the Mountain. Daniela, the Hostess and Owner of the Hotel is a well traveled and multi lingual person . She is always helpful. When we return to Switzerland to ski or to Hike it is the place in which we stay and eat. Breakfast is a great, gorgeous buffet. Based on all the times we have been to this place I do not understand the review below.
