Beautiful hotel, great location and super friendly staff. This is the second time that Mrs G and I have stayed here and we can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the staff were super helpful and made our stay very special. The rooms are very comfortable as are the beds. We will definitely return!

Absolutely stunning property with amazing stuff. We loved our 2 night stay and wish we could stay longer. Rooms are spacious and quiet. The bedding is comfortable for light sleepers like myself. The amenities and service was 10/10. There are also zones like lobby and balconies where you can chill and relax. They have parking right in front

Such a lovely place to spend a couple of nights - we arrived very straight from the airport, and the staff were very kind in accommodating our early arrival. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, with an incredible bathroom - all the public areas were gorgeous too. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough, and really hope to visit again in the future!

Amazing hotel, 10 out of 10. The domain, the room, the view everything was beautiful. We especially loved bathtubs in front of window. The personnel is very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The renovation of such a stunning heritage building was superb and the interiors were gorgeous, and styled in a way that was sympathetic to the building and its history. The staff were so welcoming that at times we forgot we were staying in a hotel, the rooms were immaculate and we enjoyed the best meal we had in France on this trip in the elegantly styled restaurant. Our stay at Hotel de Bouilhac was superlative in every aspect and we hope to return again soon. Our thanks go out to everyone who made our stay such a perfect one, you could not have done more.

Stunning hotel, kind reception, magical room. Stayed only one night while driving through the Dordogne, but now wish we had stayed longer. Extremely comfortable bed, huge bathroom, and the largest terrace I have ever seen - overloooking the quaint town and peaceful river. Exceptional in every way. Highly recommend.

I had a great time at the hotel; I really liked my room. The restaurant was good too, and I liked finding certain gems on the wine list, such as the wines of Fabien Jouves - "Mas del Périé". I would have liked to find the same attention to detail at breakfast, which unfortunately was not the case.

We stayed here two nights, after booking via booking.com (booked the same day as arrival as last minute stay). The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we had originally booked a standard room, but was kindly upgraded to a suite, which was beautifully decorated in modern but comforting décor, and was very spacious. We had dinner on the first night - modern French menu with influences from Asia. The food overall was good (starters were lovely), however, we did find the mains to be lacking slightly in seasoning and flavour, and the sauce with the pork was a little thick, bitter & had a slight skin to it, but these are small criticisms (personally have a refined palate as parents within the catering industry who have owed various Michelin star restaurants) also appreciate we were eating on a mid-week night when restaurant was quieter. Breakfast in the morning had a wide selection and again staff were very friendly and accommodating. The spa, staff again were friendly, and wide selection of treatment options (using a variety of high-tech machines). The swimming pool was lovely especially when used during the thunderstorm (inside pool). Beautiful hotel, as it has a lovely modern, upscale decor, however very comfortable and casual which complements its historical building, and it’s in a great location for the exploring the area. The staff are the real gems - would stay again and recommend.
