Ate here yesterday. Was a very nice place. We were in the aviary. It was very cozy and pleasant. Bread as a starter was tasty. As a main course we had the Amelander deer burger. Was tasty and a filling meal. The brownie with chocolate mousse was delicious. Will definitely come back here

Stayed here for a spontaneous trip to Ameland. The rooms were very clean, the service was very good and the food at the restaurant and breakfast was great. 5 stars!

This concerns the cafe. I note all good reviews are from five or more years ago. If you want really expensive weak coffee and rip-off service this terrace is the place for you. Think a flat white for €6 which was basically hot milk, served with a tasteless dried out biscuit that was reminiscent of a dog treat. Having ordered two coffees they refused our small daughter a glass of water. We had to order a €3 tiny bottle of water instead. This place is a stain on what otherwise was a lovely vacation.

This concerns only the Restaurant. We ordered the Veggie Burger with Chick Peas and the Wiener Schnitzel. The Schnitzel was solid. The Burger on the other hand was fresh but dry, the chick peas weren't cooked though and the potatoes on the side tasted a bit like old grease. The service was super nice and thoughtful but the food could need a little more love especially in regard to the price.

Super lekker. We are third time here and it's good. Coffee was good ans fresh and pancakes are good. Lovely place with good food and nice service. This is place that is good for years ans stayed good for years. You need to try their chocolate cake 😍 mmm omg so delicious Price are nice and not so high.

Only ate at the restaurant. We sat outside because we have dogs. The friendly head waiter brought a bowl of water for them. We ordered some of the toasted sandwiches and burgers. The toasted sandwiches are made with homemade bread. The portions were big and the food was delicious. Can definitely recommend.

Personnel too hasty to await a full order. Says one should look at the card when asking for available drinks, but they are not on the card. Impatient, bordering rude. Nice entourage

Nice rooms, great staff, best location and don't forget the free breakfast.
