Spent one night in this very central located hotel. Receptionist was polite and helpful. Rooms a bit run down, but comfortable beds. Unfortunatel the tapwater smelled moldy. The restaurant across the road offered a breakfast buffet with lots of choice for the sweet tooth, but not much if one doesnt like sweet. Friendly and polite service and good atmosphere. All in all a hotel one can stay, but next trip I will find another place

Nice for lunch by the pool. This is also in an area that I really like. It's very close to the US embassy and about a half hour taxi from downtown. The food here is really great and the staff was super friendly. You can lounge by the pool or you can eat at one of the tables if you like.

This place was absolutely amazing. The flavors and service were beyond my expectations. The staff greeted us at the door with smiles and welcoming presence. The service was “next level”; extremely attentive. I had the chicken, marinate In this flavorful sauce.. the humus and tabouleh salad was amazing.. this place was also extremely clean. A hidden gem. I would def recommend it.

For those with a penchant for Lebanese cuisine, Restaurant Farid is the ideal dining destination. The staff is affable and attentive, and the menu offers exceptional value for money, with the dishes being as delectable as they are satisfying. The ambiance is also noteworthy, with a pleasant setting and live music to set the mood. Convenience is also a priority at Restaurant Farid, with the option of placing orders online and receiving timely delivery. It's no wonder why it's one of my top picks for restaurants in Dakar. The food is absolutely superb, drawing in a diverse Middle Eastern crowd and providing an authentic cultural experience. The team is exceptional, providing a warm welcome and excellent service. The quality and affordability of the cuisine is unparalleled, making it a five-star establishment in my book. And if you're looking for the ultimate sweet ending, I highly recommend trying their must-try dessert.

If Lebanese food is your thing, Restaurant Farid is your place. They are courteous, friendly, offer good value for money and their food is delicious. Their space is also nice. Ordering food is easy, you can do it online and the order arrives fairly on time. One of my favorite restaurants in Dakar!

Have been here for dinner loads of times & the food gets better all the time. Prices are very good especially the mezze. The salads are also very good. I would recommend the taboule, spicy hummos, lamb liver, Harrira soup & all the grills. It’s also a great place to get a quick business lunch. The only thing I hate is the smoke from the shisha. They also have inside sitting but love the outdoor.

My favourite restaurant in Dakar so far. I love Lebanese food and this didn’t disappoint. We ordered one platter per adult, added chips and shared with 4 hungry kids. Food was fresh and tasty; loved the chimchurri and the hummus. Best was the almond Persian rice. Puddings were good and the service was relaxed and friendly. Loved the decor and cleanliness. Great location as not far from the museum and the TER. We used the parking which was easy too. Will definitely go back.
