Hotel Restaurant Hirschen

This review is for the restaurant (and not the hotel). We visited Grindelwald for a couple of hours and stopped by to grab a bite. We had the house salad, soup and the rackets. Food was simply exquisite and the crème based soup was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant. PS: the service was excellent and we ended up spending 2 hours on lunch !

The hotel is in an ideal location with easy access to the station, shops and other amenities. The rooms allocated in the Guest house was small, clean and functional. The balcony provided us with amazing Eiger view. The staff were efficient .Our dinner at the restaurant was great especially the service from multilingual Denizaa who made every guest feel welcome with her joie de vivre and interaction with everyone. he breakfast had a good selection of items. Will recommend it if you're visiting the area.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife and was very pleased with my experience. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the nearest supermarket. The rooms on the higher floors offer stunning views of the entire valley and plains. My room was very spacious, and the balcony was also quite large. There is a parking lot available, although it costs an additional 5 Swiss Francs. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and very polite. The hotel breakfast is quite abundant, and they even have a fresh juice machine for guests to use. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

We came here for food and it was absolutely fantastic. The raclette, gelato and meringue were all fabulous. Lastly, the super friendly service really made our night!

My husband n I dined at the restaurant as we wanted an authentic cheese fondue experience. We were most happy with the service by Frida as she was patiently explaining the dishes to us and how to enjoy the fondue thoroughly. The Poulet Curry flammkuchen was delicious too!

Are at their restaurant 3 nights in a row. Great service, nice variety of food and drinks choices, and the flammen kuchen is wonderful. Window seating is fun and good people watching. Recommend

Fondue is amazing, raclette too. They specialise in cheese dishes. One of the most hospitable staff , amazing lady at the counter. Thanks so much will love to visit again .

Had a raclette and fondue here including meat and vegetable sides. It was delicious with generous portions. The young woman serving us was very friendly and attentive.
