Hotel Restaurant Hirschen

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. Our room, located in the charming Guest House behind the main building, was quiet, cozy, and offered a beautiful mountain view. The bathroom was an unexpected highlight, featuring a modern shower-toilet that added great comfort to our stay. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and breakfast was a real treat — with fresh juice (you can even prepare your own), a wide selection of Swiss cheeses, fresh bread, Müsli, and more. We also greatly appreciated the convenient on-site parking reserved for hotel guests. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning.

i was craving some cheese fondue and this spot was perfect for my craving. The cheese fondue had a slight alcohol flavour and was perfectly balanced. The desserts were typically amazing, great texture and the meringue was not very sweet, you got to choose what flavour of ice cream you like and the ice cream was very good too. The apple tart used a very nice amount of fresh apple, but the cream was a bit mild for my taste and didn’t really go well with the sweet tangy apple tart. The service was amazing, very friendly and kind. Overall, this place made me happy with my cravings. Very good

Everything was wonderful. Breakfast was great and service was attentive and friendly despite all the negative comments. We had a decent view from our room. Samira was friendly and informative. She helped facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out, provided a lot of information especially with laundry Only thing I wish they provided was a kettle, at minimum by request, because having to go to the main lobby to get hot water was very inconvenient.

Stopped in this restaurant for afternoon tea & dessert (husband enticed by the warm apple strudel sign outside) The atmosphere is lovely. The service we received was great. The apple strudel was served warm but lacked flavor. (We prefer strudel with more cinnamon and other spices, as well as, golden raisins) The flammkuchen while simple, paired well with my tea and tasted good. (Would also prefer with more cinnamon & spices)

Amazing food and the service was even better. We ordered raclette and since it was our first time, the service lady explained us everything in detail about the dish! The views are also amazing from here!

Comfortable bed and spacious, clean bedroom with an outstanding view of the Eiger and the meadows around Grindelwald.|Very friendly and helpful staff.|Server in the dining room for breakfast was most welcoming.|Our only negative was that the shower was in the tub and was difficult to get in and out of without the risk of slipping. Probably not a problem for non seniors guests.

My first experience with the swiss gastronomy was guided by Samira. She explained the menu and helped us with the wine selection, main course and dessert. Her attention to detail and her profesionalism was above and beyond! Highlighting local culture, heartfelt gestures and her charisma did took our breaths away providing instant and seamless service that is magical!

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Samira was our server and she did amazing! She was sooo nice, very attentive, she explained how to eat the fondue, she went above and beyond. She was very patient and answered any questions we had. She is also very nice and always with a smile. We had fondue and a pizza and everything was really good. The swiss wine was also very good. 100% recommend this restaurant.
