Hôtel-Restaurant la Maison du Prussien

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wanted to surprise my sister for a very special day, even though I was far away. The team at La Maison du Prussien went above and beyond to help me make it happen. Their service, attention to detail, and kindness were truly outstanding. Despite the distance, I felt fully supported and trusted that everything would be perfect — and it was! Thank you so much for helping to create memorable experience for my sister. Highly recommended!

It was a long expected dinner that my partner and I had at la Maison du Prussien. Each platter and wine had a story to tell. The personnel was professional and attentive to our needs. It was a pleasure to meet the person behind the exquisite meals we discovered. Surprises await you between and within all courses. I would highly recommend for dinner dates and special occasions.

Restaurant was better before. Food was very salty and drinks too overpriced.

The place is really nice! The rooms are very well done. The reastaurant is excellent and they have a very good wine cellar. The only negative point is the surroundings. The hotel is squeezed in between the railway and an industrial zone. Stay there nevertheless for a night and include diner. You will get a good deal!

We stayed overnight at this picturesque hotel which is truly original and lovely. Staff so friendly and the charming lady at reception gave us free brochures/vouchers for city visits. All tghe bedrooms are different - ours was huge, very comfortable and nice bathroom fittings. TV was very small but didn't bother us. Pity there was no kettle||In the room to make tea.||||The restaurant was a delight..absolutely delicious from start to finish ! The chef, ||Jean-Yves Drevet, is extremely talented and chatted to us at the end of the dinner. The restaurant is situated in a lovely glass conservatory attached to the 18th century building.||||Breakfast was ok but slightly disappointing after such a lovely evening.||||Definitely recommend !

Traveling for a few days football matches in nearby St. Imier. Beautiful historic building that has been tastefully restored. Very quiet location approximately a kilometer out of the centre. It is at the side of a waterfall that is pretty loud but didn’t bother us because we love the sound of nature. The hotel reception (a lovely helpful informative Swedish lady) kindly gave us a map of the area and free bus passes. The bus stop is nearby and it’s 3 stops to the centre. Breakfast was sufficient but nothing special compared to the fabulous restaurant where we had dinner. Every course we tasted was divine, well presented and the price was fair for such dishes. Elderly people should maybe request a lower room because there’s a lot of stairs and no lift, as is often in older buildings. Still it is quite simply charming in character, friendly atmosphere and also free parking. Would stay there again if visiting the area.

This hotel is in a building that has a lot of history, house of an ancient mill. Great architecture and design mixing modern and historical. The room was spacious, high quality bed and sheets and great bathroom. I would easily give it a four star. The hotel is surrounded with unexpected nature, waterfalls and "gorges", hight cliff, only 5 minutes drive to the city center or a few minutes with bus. The only downside was the noise of the trains passing, but I slept well with ear plugs. the hotel also offer a high end restaurant.

What a surprise: almost inmidst the City such a truly romantic hideaway in a wild gorge. The suite right under the Roof was awesome. With great antiques. The entire house with a lovingly arranged atmosphere. The welcome was warm and attentive. We dined in the modern glass addition of the Restaurant. Great food! A pleasure for eye and tongue. The Chef is a master of his trade!
