Mont Paisible - a 3 star hotel with 5 star service.|I ve booked this hotel one day before the cable car of Plaine Morte was opened. Thing is, to be honest i did not Expect anything, as I ve knew before it was a 3 star hotel. Also the price made the difference, as it was the cheapest possibility for one person. And the fact that Delia slept here Last year, during the Trail. I have my curiosities, you know.... |Check in:check in was fast, it was early(i ve appreciated that they ve let me make an early check in, normally other hotels only let you inside the hotel after 5 pm, giving you a story that the room is '' not ready". |Although the Hotel looks dates-the Reception and the entry are not so inviting, from my stand point, the personal treats you like you are in a 5 star, the rooms are recently renovated, I would say more a 4 star than a 3 star, beautiful view over the Mountains on their balcony-my room 103 was one of the Best rooms I ve slept so far in Crans Montana, the bed was cozy, i ve loved the colors,i have this "thing" for yellow curtains(smile smile smile), the TV was not so small like in other 3 star hotels, but not to big too, it was sparkling clean-it is seldom to find a room that is so clean(also.... i the morning during breakfast I ve could not take my eyes away from the Green carpet, it was so clean, i wonder if it was new). And it was quiet, a real realm of Silence. It is seldom in a hotel which is full(the parking was fully booked that night) , to be able to sleep with Windows opened, really no sound, a bit cold though. Maybe I was Lucky, maybe couples which come in April, May, June really come to enjoy this silence... |Now, two things: remember that you ve booked a 3 star hotel, so don t expect impossible things like..... air condition-this is NOT Dubai(anyhow, no hotel in Crans Montana has one, maybe just Crans spa),just that you know. Smile smile smile. |Although it is a 3 star hotel, the breakfast was really generous, i ve loved the warm bead, the small croissants, pains au chocolat, they have 6 or 7 types of cheese-i ve tried them all, what do you think, they also have fresh Orange juice, which by the way, you need to make it yourself, as they have a special machine, really good Coffee, chocolate, warm chocolate, bacon, omlette, so many things that not all hotels offer. Panorama, for example, offers a really poor breakfast, now that i remember. |They also have a good cook, and prices are AFFORDABLE. |Now, location:if in winter, this is the best hotel to book if you ski, as the ski lift to Plaine Morte - 3000m,is across the street. Also in summer, when temperatures are above 30 degrees, at 3000 m you have minus 11, and yes:we have Snow. |For activities in Crans Montana, you might ask the Reception, or just go to their site:crans montana Official site. |If you like to walk, you can just take the Bus to Plumachit, and go up till Tieche, or if you are really fit and motivated, you could try Plumachit - Plaine Morte.|For restaurants, I could recommend 5:Kaizen,Gueuleton, Monument - Lens, Continental, and my favorite one now:Farinet. Plumachit used to make good menus, but the cook '' run''away, all that is left there is the stunning view..... Smile smile smile |Restaurants on The Ski slopes..... I don t know, i don t like their food much. But you know:"De Gustibus Non est disputandum''. |Reception was really friendly, check out was fast, and next day I came again to this hotel only for their Breakfast. A delight..... |Next day we had snow, so i ve put my running shoes, and went up to 3000, i ve really missed winter. I did that yesterday, and I will go today too.... So far, this is the only '' luxury '' i can afford, Smile smile smile

Short walk from lifts. Quiet, tree-lined location. Spectacular views of the Pennine Alps including the Weisshorn. Friendly multilingual staff. Good parking. Delicious food in the restaurant. I think they can arrange golf, if that's your thing.

Excellent stay for 7 days of skiing. Hotel staff very friendly, Cornelia, Nicole Gregory, Clémence, all of them. Hotel very clean, nice breakfast and last but not least unique view. Free shuttle from hotel to Viollete Gondola, only two km walk from the city center, spectacular view and warm atmosphere. Their a la carte menu are delicious, the price level it's incomparable with many other places. We'll be back 100%

Reasonably priced with friendly and helpful staff. Clemence is particularly charming and knowledgeable. She secured discount cards for us and made great restaurant recommendations and dinner reservations when we couldn't do it online. |Ask for a view room -- the balcony facing the mountains is well worth it. The room was cozy and clean, clean, clean. The only downside was the narrow, slippery tub/shower combo. |We were there in August and the place was not full. Not sure what it would be like in the peak ski season -- crowded, I imagine! |The breakfast was a varied buffet. There's a nice bar with a great view, and the restaurant served dinner 5 nights/week (not Sun/Mon).

We only stayed for a couple of nights but would have liked to have stayed longer. Upon arrival we were informed that they had upgraded our room to one with a balcony and a stunning view of the Alps! (Our stay was in July and so the hotel was quiet). The staff were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The included breakfast had plenty of choice, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, fresh breads, bacon and eggs to name but a few. In the evening we frequented the restaurant where the food was lovely and the service was up to standard with the rest of the hotel, friendly and they couldn't do enough for us. What more can i say other than we would highly recommend and we would love to return one day!

The hotel had a wonderful view and great breakfast. We were complementarily upgraded and enjoyed our room and balcony. The building is old but that's half of the charm. Staff was very helpful and there was a very quick shuttle to get to the near by ski lift. It was also very easy to walk to the bus stop or drive into the center of town. Given the price, I would definitely look into Hotel Le Mont-Paisible if I'm ever in Crans-Montana again.

This hotel has the most stunning view on the mountains. Which would be already enough of a reason to stay there. But then there is the restaurant, with delicious meals every night, the right balance of healthy and tasty. The hot croissant and pain au chocolate in the morning, the variety of fruit. The rooms are bright and clean, and needles to say the ones with a balcony would make it hard for you to leave the room - watching the sunset from there is an unforgettable experience. The staff is extremely kind, joyful, knows how to advise you on the activities that Crans Montana offers and you can see they just care and love their job. I go back every time I can, it never disappoint, it is never the same - it is always better!

Looking for a good located hotel with own restaurant and affordable prices.|The hotel is well located to the nearest ski lift with access to the ski domain of Crans Montana - additional having an own shuttle service to the ski lift. If you are into winter walks - also no problem as the bus stop is nearby which will bring you to the departure area of fantastic walks.||The rooms have an amazing view on the Swiss Alpes - at sunset and also during sundowner. Good standard comfort with renovated bathrooms. Breakfast usually included in the booking and free parking available. In general a great experience and my recommendation.
