"Chamonix has been made safe for the Wallpaper set with this seven-room hotel, carved out of a 1927 Art Deco mansion with gorgeous views of Mont Blanc. The atmosphere is akin to a house party, since two of the rooms are "bunkhouse" suites that can sleep from four to six hard-skiing, hard-partying types. Accommodations are luxuriously kitted out with feather comforters, fur hot-water bottles and throws, wireless Internet access, and rain forest showers. There are a variety of massages on offer to ease your aching limbs after a day on the slopes; alternatively, get cozy in front of the fire in the Clubhouse Bar, which ups the ante on après-ski with everything from unpasteurized local beers to rare Armagnacs. Chef Mark Webb oversees the kitchen."

Love this place, just been for apres ski there, great location by Le Flegere ski slopes near Chamonix. It has really good local beer on draught and the bar man was quite entertaining if you like that kind of thing. Above all they do an awesome buffet during apres ski there that's free (in moderation of course), just like they do in Italy except with much better food IMHO. Chilled out place with cool music, comfy seating and I think they do sports on TV but not all the time which is good..

We booked at the very last minute, just a few hours before we checked in on the day of our stay via Hotels.com. Reasonable price.|We checked in on Fri 06Jan2023 and stayed through Sunday 08Jan2023 in room #12. Room #12 is a handicapped room so there was lots of space. On Sunday 08Jan2023 at check out we decided to stay one more night here but needed to switch rooms, our second room was #19, which had a great view. ||At check in Andrea was extremely helpful, without being asked she told us the bus schedule and marked everything on a map for us. She was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. We also ate at the restaurant at the hotel which was some of the best food we had during our time in Chamonix. The bartender/server Florin was phenomenal - genuinely kind, helpful and overall a wonderful human. He made our experience so good that we stayed the extra night at the hotel. Florin and Andrea made us feel at home, and were so kind. They gave us great advice on what to do in the area. ||The food at the hotel was amazing, during our stay we tried and LOVED everything.|- Steamed mussels, Mussels tomatoes, lemon juice, chili white wine , parsley|- Baked local Cheeses, From age des Clarines backed with white wine, served with boiled potatoes, local cured ham, salami, tomatoes and salad/|- Tartiflettes, Potatoes, lardons, onions, reblochon cheese, and cream. Served with a salad. ** Tartiflettes is a dish that originates from this area, so it was nice to try something traditional. It was my favorite from our trip. |- Pasta carbonara|- Pizza, Piccante, Sausage tomatoes, mozzarella, mix des polvrons, chorizo, hailer de Basslilic||This hotel is located outside the downtown area, its easily accessible via a walking path or short bus ride. It has great views and access to outdoor activities. Also less than 5 minute walk to ski/ snowboard lift. |Rooms were clean, good storage, comfortable beds, all the usual hotel stuff. But what really sets this place apart is the staff. We are so thankful that we stumbled upon this little gem

Friendly and informal feel. Excellent value and convenient for getting around the valley. The food was really tasty and the breakfast was generous. Great facilities for storing skis and drying kit. Really nice staff. Great bar for apres ski just across the road. Bus stops for all ski resorts directly outside the hotel.

Great location and friendly staff. Room (no.14) was pleasant and had a nice balcony, although no patio furniture on it so couldn’t sit out there. We were half board for a couple of days and the food was good. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. My main issue was the bed was really hard, like concrete, which isn’t ideal after a day on the slopes. Bathroom was fine with a nice shower (over a bath). Slightly dated, but clean and functional.

Wonderful location near Flegere cablecar, magnificent personnel, friendly, efficient, and ready to fulfill the guests wishes. Tasty dishes, and a warm, cozy atmosphere, in the restaurant and the bar. Best place to be for skiing and enjoying the night after that.
