The Clubhouse

"Chamonix has been made safe for the Wallpaper set with this seven-room hotel, carved out of a 1927 Art Deco mansion with gorgeous views of Mont Blanc. The atmosphere is akin to a house party, since two of the rooms are "bunkhouse" suites that can sleep from four to six hard-skiing, hard-partying types. Accommodations are luxuriously kitted out with feather comforters, fur hot-water bottles and throws, wireless Internet access, and rain forest showers. There are a variety of massages on offer to ease your aching limbs after a day on the slopes; alternatively, get cozy in front of the fire in the Clubhouse Bar, which ups the ante on après-ski with everything from unpasteurized local beers to rare Armagnacs. Chef Mark Webb oversees the kitchen."

We were here for 7 nights in July. It is a very good location. A basic room. We booked a room with 1/2 board which provides breakfast and dinner. Upon check in we were told dinner included ordering an appetizer entree and dessert off the menu. On the fourth night the manager changed this to you get what they cooked for you. No option no concern about food allergies and no communication of this charged. Management put the wait staff in a very awkward position. I would reconsider staying at this hotel again as the management does not consider the paying customers in their decision making. No less we spent over 300 euros in beer wine and other drinks which they made a good profit on.

Hotel Bar Les Lanchers a Chamonix – A Mountain Paradise I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Bar Les Lanchers a iChamonix-Mont-Blanc, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was impeccable, setting the tone for a memorable stay. Location: 5/5 Nestled in the heart of Chamonix, the location is unbeatable. With breathtaking views of Mont Blanc from our room, we were within walking distance of charming boutiques, cafes, and the Aiguille du Midi cable car. It was the perfect base for exploring both the town and the surrounding mountains. Service: 5/5 The staff were attentive and genuinely welcoming. From assisting with ski rentals to recommending the best local restaurants, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and their passion for the region added a personal touch to our experience. Accommodation: 5/5 Our room was elegantly designed with modern alpine decor, offering a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The sweeping views of the snow-capped peaks from our balcony were absolutely breathtaking. The amenities were top-notch, including a plush bed, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a spacious bathroom that invited relaxation after a long day on the slopes. Overall Experience: 5/5 Hotel Bar Las Lanchers a Chamonix exceeded all our expectations and provided us with an unforgettable experience amidst the breathtaking beauty of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of comfort, and superb service while exploring the wonders of this alpine paradise. We can't wait to return! --

What a lovely find!! Booked on the day of our arrival due to a change in our road trip plans, The Lanchers is a 25 minute riverside walk from the centre of Chamonix. Our room was spotlessly clean with fresh bed linen and towels and a bath!! We were up and out too early to take advantage of breakfast!|The lady on reception was most helpful in securing us a room for the night and so we would definitely recommend the hotel and look to stay again should our travels take us to Chamonix!

Nice View of the Mont Blanc. Too expensive for what one's get. A very poor breakfast not attended by the staff. Not even a bottle of drinking water in the room. Rooms very small but quite clean. Old bath with a broken soap dispenser. Everything needs renovation and refurbishment.

Great views and easy access to hiking trails! Nice staff and cozy, modern rooms! One thing that we weren’t expecting was they didn’t mention reception closed at 6 and that we needed a code to get in, luckily someone was coming out and they were able to let us in.

Friendly and informal feel. Excellent value and convenient for getting around the valley. The food was really tasty and the breakfast was generous. Great facilities for storing skis and drying kit. Really nice staff. Great bar for apres ski just across the road. Bus stops for all ski resorts directly outside the hotel.

Very helpful and friendly staff, all speak English and some like if they are from England. They helped us with lift passes and a lot of info about the area. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony in the newer part of the hotel, which also had a bath. The scenery in that area is very nice so from the hotel you get some nice views of the mountains. The diner meals are really good. On Sundays a BBQ is used for the meals if the weather is OK. Breakfast is good, only the coffee is brewed. I would advice a bean machine during breakfast.||||The hotel is very close to 2 busstations and also with a bicycle you can get around quickly. Chamonix is very close by. ||||We really had a good time there and we love to go back again!
