Cosy hotel. And the owner bakes a good omelette de fromage in the morning.

Small place but very nice. Owner is super nice and clearly loves what he does. Breakfast is delicious in simplicity and be sure to eat there too. Best value you will have in Belgium. Rooms are small but clean and don't offer four star views. Beds are good although pillows bit small for our liking

We had a nice clean small room with an excellent bed and a lovely little bathroom. Breakfast was quite an experience: all sorts of fresh crisp breads, home-made jams, soft-boiled egg cooked on demand, but most delicious of all hand-cut ham slices and organic cheese. The owner is also the cook and is nice, welcoming and happy to help.

We come here often for race weekends. Simple clean and good rooms. Excellent breakfast. Diner on weekends is very good value for money but take your time. Don't expect to have the 3 courses in an hour. No cards, cash only!

Given the positive reviews I was excited when we arrived and found a parking spot on the congested street nearby. Look at the picture and imagine the alcove on the right. Plastered with notices and dark, in any other city the homeless would be stretched out on the ground. The tiny lobby reeked of weeks old cooking odors. Yes there was a room available, it also smelled of old food odors. I would not call it minimalist but rather Spartan. The Abbey down the street was likely decadent compared to the room we saw. If I had booked ahead based on the reviews I read I would have been sick at heart and felt I had let my traveling companions down not to speak of myself. I admit I did not stay here.....I chose not to after seeing it. I had also planned on eating at the restaurant, but the odor was not appetizing. Good for some, not for me.

We had a nice and big room with renovated bathroom. Our child could sleep with us in a wooden cot. In the weekend you can have a nice meal with fresh and home-grown ingredients. Very near to Hautes Fagnes and Coo Waterfall.

This was a nice place. The room wasn't anything too special, but it was clean and was in a good location. Not much English spoken, but you could get by ok. Would definitely stay here again.
