Hotel Roseg Gletscher was one of the most unique hotels we've ever stayed in, and it quickly became our son's favorite. The cottage-like rooms were beautiful and gave us a magical, Goldilocks-like feel. Our room was clean and comfortable, though it's worth noting there's no mini-fridge. I had insulin with me but was prepared with my own cooler, so it wasn't an issue. I'm sure the staff would have assisted if I had asked.||The hotel's restaurant serves delicious and authentic, though pricey, Swiss dishes, which was an incredible culinary experience we were happy to pay for. The hotel's secluded location in the Swiss Alps is absolutely stunning, with beautiful streams, glaciers, and mountain scenery all around. My family loved the 4-hour hike we took one day, and we also enjoyed visiting nearby towns and mountains like Muottas Muragl.||One challenge was the transportation schedule. The hotel provides a courtesy shuttle bus to town, but with only one trip at 10 AM and the last pickup at 5 PM, it required careful planning for our daily activities. The alternative was a horse-drawn carriage ride, which, at 25 CHF one-way, was a bit steep for a family of four and not part of the hotel amenities as I had initially assumed.||Despite the transportation logistics, our stay was a truly wonderful experience. We would love to come back again, perhaps during the winter, to see the landscape in a different season.

Amazing location, surrounded my untouched snow and blue skies. Staff were extremely kind, caring and provided a superb service. Restaurant is extremely overpriced, as we nearly paid the same amount in food as we did for one night on our dorm. The food is although good. Our quiet romantic dinner was interrupted by a drunk guest who began screaming at the waiter. This continued on throughout the hour as they argued over the bill and quality of the food. Guest then became aggressive towards the waiter and approached him. Another staff member and myself got in between to prevent a physical confrontation. Police eventually arrived, talked to the parties and left. By this point my partner and myself were extremely nervous, didn't enjoy a second of our meal and were given the bill. Next morning I enquired to see if any compensation could be provided for the ruined dinner from the previous night. 10 franks were returned.

Walked from St. Moritz via Stazer lake into the Rosegg valley to this restaurant. Excellent hike, easy, but long. Even from Pontresina it is quite a stretch. The restaurant has a respectable menu (too big?). Staff is friendly and accommodating. They seemed not to pleased we only wanted a drink, but we ate lunch after all. Food was served in little time and gave no reason for complaints. Special mention deserves the huge dessert buffet out on the terrace. It seemed to have everything I know and freshly prepared. With hindsight, we should have just had the desert buffet and a coffee. If you are to full or tired, you can take the horse sleigh back to Pontresina.

It localized in amazing place and 2 stars I have given for the place. For sure I can say the desserts are amazing without tasting them because they are covered with many house flies and honey bees or wasps. They also advanced gadgets to try save their cakes from flies but I should say their efforts were unsucessful.

We tried a few different cakes with tea/coffee, and they were delicious. Though it was end of December, it was warm and sunny enough to sit outside and enjoy amazing views. The winter hike from Pontresina to Roseg is spectacular.
