Hotel Roseg Gletscher was one of the most unique hotels we've ever stayed in, and it quickly became our son's favorite. The cottage-like rooms were beautiful and gave us a magical, Goldilocks-like feel. Our room was clean and comfortable, though it's worth noting there's no mini-fridge. I had insulin with me but was prepared with my own cooler, so it wasn't an issue. I'm sure the staff would have assisted if I had asked.||The hotel's restaurant serves delicious and authentic, though pricey, Swiss dishes, which was an incredible culinary experience we were happy to pay for. The hotel's secluded location in the Swiss Alps is absolutely stunning, with beautiful streams, glaciers, and mountain scenery all around. My family loved the 4-hour hike we took one day, and we also enjoyed visiting nearby towns and mountains like Muottas Muragl.||One challenge was the transportation schedule. The hotel provides a courtesy shuttle bus to town, but with only one trip at 10 AM and the last pickup at 5 PM, it required careful planning for our daily activities. The alternative was a horse-drawn carriage ride, which, at 25 CHF one-way, was a bit steep for a family of four and not part of the hotel amenities as I had initially assumed.||Despite the transportation logistics, our stay was a truly wonderful experience. We would love to come back again, perhaps during the winter, to see the landscape in a different season.
